"Why do you want my personal information, Yashiro?~" Hanako teasingly asked as he scooted further next to [Name] while Yashiro continued to pester Hanako with a compatibility book for research purposes. "You dirty girl~"

"Aw, coming from you?" [Name] deadpanned.

"Uh, I have no more space here." Kou tried to wiggle free from the lack of space that he was having on his seat since it looked like that he and Hanako are sandwiching [Name]. "What are you guys doing anyways?"

"Yashiro is being pushy!" Hanako retorted.

"I just wanted to know your real name, blood type, family structure and date of death to see if your signs are compatible with [Name]!" Yashiro explained while pointing at the book she was holding. [Name] sweat-dropped, is she really trying to make things work between Hanako just by relying on astrological signs and blood types?

"I appreciate you Nene-chan for helping me out but do you really have to matchmake us just to get some intel?" [Name] lowered the book to see Yashiro who was determined to help her bestfriend to get to know Hanako. The reason why Yashiro had the matchmaking book in the first place is to see if she and Teru are compatible, though she abandoned that idea and decided she should just idolize him from afar because he seems to be way out of league. "Do you still like Minamoto-senpai?"

"Minamoto-senpai?" Kou grabbed [Name]'s shoulder to slightly move her away to question.

"I-I don't like him that much anymore." Yashiro stammered. "I just idolize him that's all! I mean, he's the Student Council President, handsome, kind and smart!" She gushed out Teru's highlighted features and based from the decriptions of his fans. [Name] had to give her words of wisdom, so she stood up and wrapped an arm around Yashiro.

"You know my delusional daikon bestfriend. If you can't have the older brother, there's always the younger brother." It was obvious that [Name] was hinting at Yashiro to go after Kou instead of her senpai because the junior is a literal ball of sunshine.

But then, Hanako spoke. "But what if the younger brother is younger than you?"

[Name] cleared her throat. "Unless he's the same age as you, that's understandable." Other than wanting to join the Astronomy Club, she wanted to try broadcasting to give out advices on the radio everyday, like where the girl tells them about the supernatural rumors that will later be handy and will result into a chaotic field trip. Yashiro went to the railings of the rooftop to fawn over Teru with imaginary roses surrounding her.

"Oh Minamoto-senpai, what a wonderful gentleman." Yashiro puts her hands on her cheeks as she fangirled, not knowing that Teru was behind her and that made [Name] stiffle a laugh.

"Thank you very much."

Yashiro turned around to see that Teru was smiling with his eyes closed. There was an awkward silence as if there was an angel passing by. "Umm...Did I startle you?" Teru asked apologetically for interrupting Yashiro's inner monologue. Yashiro ended up stuttering that she is now in front of the infamous Minamoto Teru, but she must remain calm because this event is once in a lifetime.

"Nii-chan!" Kou ran towards his big brother.

"I've been looking for you, Kou." Teru slightly hits him with his clipboard. The blond haired male turn to look at Yashiro which she flinched in response. "Are you Yashiro-san? I don't believe we've met." He said.

"Huh? I thought you said he picked up your pencil case?" [Name] questioned Yashiro. Teru glanced over to [Name]'s direction, even though he's showing a calm demeanor, he was quite nervous to meet her especially when she's surrounded by people—he kind of prefers meeting her when they're both alone in an area.

"Ah, [Surname]-san." Teru waved a hand at [Name]. "Hello."

"Heya Minamoto-senpai." [Name] gave him finger guns. As Teru were thanking the girls for looking after Kou, [Name] noticed that he's holding a sword and he gave Hanako the side-eye glance. It's self explanatory that if Kou is an exorcist, then his big brother is an exorcist as well. She shrugged, and listened to their conversation.

Kou left with Teru shortly after. Yashiro was completely lovestruck at the arrival of Teru. "Come to think of it, they have the same last name—Minamoto." She said. [Name] jawdropped at her statement, like she was surprised that only now that her bestfriend figured out that these two were brothers.

"Oh my god, I thought you knew already. You're so slow..." [Name] narrowed her eyes at Yashiro which the latter huffed in response, defending herself that it's not her fault for realizing sooner. [Name] wondered as to why Teru had to call over Kou to have a conversation somewhere secluded, but it was none of her business to pry.

It probably has to do something with Hanako.

"The shots came out well." [Name] muttered under her breath when her manager, Miss Nami, sent her the photos of their recent photoshoot for the upcoming magazine to promote another clothing line. She was currently strolling through the night after finishing her part time job from the model agency. "I could eat some cheese tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) but I don't feel like it."

[Name] was wearing a navy blue plaid jacket with a white shirt underneath, a pair of loose pants and white rubber shoes, and a cap on her head. "I'll just go to the convenience store to get something to eat." While she was speed walking on her way to the convenience store, she spotted a familiar person coming by—Teru, in a black shirt with a bag slung over to his shoulder.

She was internally panicking because meeting someone she knew in public gives her anxiety. Should [Name] go say hi? Or she should just lower her cap and pretend that she didn't see anyone. [Name] decided to go for the latter until—"[Surname]-san? Is that you?" Crap. [Name] lifted her head to see that Teru was happy to see her.

"Minamoto-senpai, hey~" [Name] says in an awkward tone.

The two ended up going inside the convenience store instead of just standing out and go in an endless loop of saying hi and hello. The cold air of the inside made [Name] shiver slightly. "I didn't expect to see you out here." Teru chuckled as he tried to search for something to buy. "Are you out for a walk?"

"Not really, I just came from my part time job." [Name] smiled softly while looking at a packet of instant noodles. "I'm actually a magazine model but I'm not that famous—nor do I even read the magazines..." She whispered at the last part.

"I was coming home from my part time job as well." Teru replied. [Name] took some instant spicy rice cakes from the shelf and tossed them in the basket. Then adding some snacks to share them with Yashiro and Aoi at school tomorrow. Teru showed her a box where it shows that you mix some water and paste to turn them into candies. "What do you think of these?"

"Oh~ I remember those!" [Name]'s face seemed to light up in joy as nostalgia fills her by looking at the box. "Ahh~ It brings back so many memories from my childhood, those were my favorite as a kid. I would often sneak in some of my works to school but I realized that you have to eat them immediately. Are you going to buy them?"

"My little sister started taking interest in these and she wanted to make these with me." Teru smiled fondly at the box. "But I don't have any experience with these, so I might not be able to make it that well." [Name]'s heart melted at the statement, the fact that he wanted to learn how to do it for his little sister made him seem like a nice older brother. "I wanted to practice but I figured doing it by myself is a little...you know?"

'I think I know where this is going.' [Name] took a box from the shelf and showed it to Teru. "Wanna make some together? I mean, I always make these all by myself but I don't mind helping you." Teru's eyes sparkled as he smiled softly at [Name]. There is one thing that [Name] realized about Teru is that he's none of those things that the fans claim him to be.

He's just an ordinary guy. [Name] puts the candy box in the basket. "Minamoto-senpai?" She turned around to see that Teru is now hoarding some instant candy boxes and some snacks in his basket. [Name] shrugged with a small smile. "I'll go pay for these." She said before going to the cashier to pay for her stuffs.

"That would be 300 yen." The cashier said. [Name] gave him the money by placing it on the small tray in front of her, until the guy grabbed her hand all of a sudden. "Say? Aren't you a little cutie? What are you doing here alone?~" [Name] felt shivers down to her spine of how creeped out she is. [Name] yanked her hand off with a look of disgust written on her face.

"Shut the fuck up." [Name] hissed.

"Playing hard to get huh?"

"Uh no?" [Name] cocked her head. "I just don't go after creeps like you."

Teru decided to slide in the scene by putting the basket in front of the cashier with a threatening smile on his face. "Excuse me~" He sang. "Can you check these out as well? I would also pay for those too." Teru pointed at [Name]'s things that are now bagged. [Name] was taken aback by the sudden approach, if Teru hasn't arrived yet to save her, she would've kicked him on the spot.

The two teens went out of the convenience store after that incident. [Name] sighed in relief, taking off her cap to wipe the sweat off of her forehead. "[Surname]-san, are you alright?" Teru was concerned of what she felt, [Name] had her head hung low while holding her things. [Name] nodded and gave him a thumbs up. "Do you want to take a rest by the swings?"

[Name] stopped. "Can we go anywhere other than the swings?"

"Hm? I mean I don't mind, do you not like the swings?" Teru bounced back a question. [Name] shook her head.

"I do not hate the swings, it's just that it brings back bad memories." [Name] hugged herself, wincing at the memory where she and Souho used to hang out by the swings after school. She wanted to forget about that, obiterate it from her mind so that it will never be remembered. "I used to be in a relationship, that's why."

Teru turned to look at her. "You had a boyfriend?"

"I don't know what to call him as because we had no label." [Name] found herself explaining to Teru about her previous relationship with Souho. How it started, how it went and how it ended. Now, the blond haired male understood as to why she hated going to the swings by the local park. "He ghosted me for another girl in his class."

"And now, they're official." [Name] smiled painfully, putting her hands behind her back while holding her things. Soon, [Name] went ahead to the park to get a seat by the tables. Teru followed behind her as he sat on the other side facing her, taking out the box where they can make shark gummies. "How about you Minamoto-senpai?"

"Ehhh...I never had one." Teru organized the materials from inside the box. "But it must be nice to be in one. I practically sacrificed my whole life doing other things rather than the things I wanted to do. Stuffs like this...is what I want to cherish..." Teru started mixing the contents together using the candy powder and water.

"I bet you missed a lot, huh?" [Name] poured the mixture at the shark mold. "Don't worry, there are other things I'm missing out too—I feel like everyone does, but even if you can't do them now, then one day you can. We don't know exactly whether life is too short or too long but all I know that you'll regret it if you don't do it right away."

"Whoops—got a little philosophical there." [Name] giggled as she stretched her arms to wait for the mixture to harden. Teru and [Name] started to get to know each other, knowing about their favorites and dislikes. Teru was relieved at the fact that [Name] was talking to him not because of his status in school, she doesn't mind any of that at all. "Minamoto-senpai, your shark is about to break...yikes."

"Ah the tail broke." There are things that Teru can't do after all. People would perceive him as a perfect guy but to him, he wasn't like that—pretty much different from the Teru [Name] knew in school. [Name] covered her mouth to laugh at the appearance of the shark he made, then Teru started chuckling as well.

And so they had fun making candy.

Teru suddenly remembered about [Name]'s story of her past relationship in which Souho ghosted her for a girl in class whose name is Haname. It started happy, like any other love stories out there as it slowly deteriorates into falling out, until they're tired and it leads to ghosting because they had no other choice.

He missed out a lot, like a lot in his life. But when it comes to this type of thing, Teru realized that the one who is missing out—was Souho.

From the other class next to 1-A, a girl with short rebonded hair whose name is Ezura, was busy scrolling through her phone during their class' free time. Her other friend, Shein, went towards her. "What are you looking at?" She said while taking a bite of her snacks. Haname walked towards the girls to see the commotion after talking with Souho.

"Check this out." Ezura showed them the website made by some students in the Academy called 'Kamome Academy Secret Files' where people behind it can reveal some secrets containing the school—kind of like the school version of social media. "According to a reliable leaker, Minamoto Teru's crush is from the Astronomy Club."

"Wait! I saw that too!" Soon, some of their classmates started swarming over the newfound rumor about Teru's crush. It didn't take long till everyone started talking about it anywhere in school. When you're popular as hell, people are thirsty for your information, especially about your crushes, you're in danger if you're the lucky person. "Is it true that Minamoto-senpai's crush is from the Astronomy Club?"

[Name], from her class, was sitting on her own watching kdrama that she didn't get to finish at home because she was hanging out with Teru last night. She dug her hand inside the chips she was eating then gobbled it up inside her mouth. "[Name]-chan!" Yashiro busted through the door as if she was in a rush. "Have you heard the rumor?!"

"What rumor?" [Name] paused the video and took off one earphone from her ear.

"Didn't you see the Secret Files page?" Yashiro took some chips from [Name]. "It said that Minamoto-senpai's crush is from the Astronomy Club!" [Name] suddenly choked from the chips she was eating, then coughing out the particles from the sudden information she just heard. [Name] deadpanned when everyone started talking about it as well, that's the Minamoto Teru effect.

"Wait? As in from the Astronomy Club?" [Name] had an idea who could it be, she had a speculation that Teru's crush is Sukuro Emi because she remembered the two being classmates. It couldn't be Hazawa or Tsurumaki and it should be obvious as to why [Name] didn't count herself from the speculation.

Everyone thought that Teru must've liked Aoi because the two are the most popular students in Kamome Academy—then the biggest bomb dropped when it was revealed by an alledged leaker that his crush is from the Astronomy Club. "[Name]-chan! Nene-chan!" Aoi called the girls. "Have you guys heard that Minamoto-senpai—"

"—Has a crush on somebody from the Astronomy Club, yes we know. Everyone's literally talking about it." [Name] finished her sentence then pointed out the students who are now making wild ass theories about Teru's crush. It must be a previous member of the club or one of the current members in the club. [Name]'s thought that he is definitely crushing on their club leader.

"I didn't know people could make a big deal out of it." Aoi puts her hand on her cheek with a soft smile on her face.

"It's Minamoto-senpai's crush, who wouldn't want to know." Yashiro excitedly says.

"Speaking of Minamoto-senpai, we actually ran into each other yesterday at the convenience store." [Name] mentioned in a small voice so no one but Aoi and Yashiro can hear it. The two girls held hands and fangirled at [Name] —especially Yashiro who kept showering [Name] with constant teasings. "And speaking of the Astronomy Club, I am actually going there to pass my journals—"

"Wait isn't [Surname]-san from the Astronomy Club?" [Name] froze just as she was about to step out of the classroom. Not everyone knew about the members of the Astronomy Club because it wasn't as popular like the common clubs you see in school. And there comes the swarm of self-assumed statements. "Is [Surname] Minamoto-senpai's crush? Confirmed?"

Everyone has their eyes on [Name]. "What the fuck are you all looking at? —"

"Now that you think about it, it makes sense since [Surname]-san is an active member of the club." One of the students say. "But we never actually see them interact with each other...?" Akane stood up from his chair to say something to the class.

"I can confirm that the president himself asked me about [Surname]-san a few days ago." He said with a smug smile on his face. An irk mark appeared on [Name]'s forehead for not helping her deflect the rumors from her—she didn't want to be known because of someone else, this is just pure crap!

"What the fuck do you mean Tomato head?" [Name] shouted in disbelief, she is being edged by girls and boys questioning her whether it is true that Teru has a crush on her. "Look—I don't fucking know but can you all please have some braincells and try to look deeper because I swear to fuck—I am not—!"

[Name] decided to run away to the Astronomy Club to escape from her classmates.
