When the group entered the door, the ground started to shake as the door had closed shut. [Name] followed the others after waiting for the door to completely close, that is until she stepped on something hairy. She slowly peered down to see that she is stepping on a wig. 'So this is where that iconic 'did you see my wig' came from.'

The wig fell down to the waterfall, [Name] was frightened a little but she tried to listen to the drop to determine how deep it is. She walked forward to the edge of the waterfall to try and find the bottom. "Eh, there's no bottom?" [Name] squints in disappointment. "I can't see shit."

"So you can't see yourself?" Hanako questioned.

"Of course I can't—wait what the fuck do you mean by that?!"

"Look! Someone's there!" Kou pointed his staff at the giant shadowed figure sitting on a chair in front of them. Yashiro, Kou and [Name] got scared once the wheelchair starts to move closer. Once the figure was out of the light, the three deadpanned at the appearance of the figure.

"T-That's..."

The figure was based on the body parts they have chosen on each station as they climbed up to the stairs. There was a muscle arm and torso with abs and boobs, a broom, a doll head, a bicycle wheel and the decent part is the left leg. Note to self, never let these four work together in those build a doll activities. "Are those all the parts we've been collecting...?" Kou asked confusingly.

"It's hideous." Hanako commented.

"I'm scared." Yashiro added.

"That shit's more ugly than the ghoster's current girlfriend and the ghoster itself." [Name] deadpanned while trying to throw shade despite how scary the figure is. She was referring to Souho and the unknown girlfriend of his that he replaced [Name] with.

"It's your fault you're sticking a weird leg on it, boy." Hanako told Kou while pointing both of his fingers in accusation.

"You told us to grab whatever!" Kou argued back.

Yashiro was currently fawning over the figure's bust and the left leg. "The bust size and left leg are so perfect..." She sighed. Now [Name] knows why Yashiro asked her if she modelled for swimsuits, thinking that her bestfriend probably is into boobs and legs. Confirmed—not everyone is even straight in this story.

"Now that I realize...I'm more uglier than that figure..."

Kou and Yashiro gasped, the sound echoed through the void of space in disbelief. The two of them grabbed [Name] by the shoulder. "Don't you ever say that you're ugly [Name]!" Yashiro scolded while shaking her back and forth. "You are pretty—you're even a magazine model, even though it's a part time job—You. Are. Pretty."

"Senpai is right." Kou nodded vigorously in agreement in Yashiro's words of encouragement in telling [Name] that she's pretty. He poked Hanako's side with his staff. "Say something too—!"

"I mean [Name] is pretty..." Hanako twiddled his fingers together. [Name] hugged her arms, sticking her bottom lip out in a pout and narrowed her eyes at him. The moment was interrupted when they heard footsteps of splashing water coming from behind them. A beautiful woman with beige har tied in a red and white ribbon with small bells, her eyes are bright green and she wears a patterned kimono while holding a lantern.

"I see you've finally arrived." She said.

'Oh my god, she looks so beautiful I'm gonna cry!' [Name] fangirled inside her head once she looked at the woman. Yashiro thought that she's the woman on the phone, she didn't expect that she looks beautiful and it startled her a bit. The woman rushed to the figure behind them that made Kou and Yashiro step back in confusion.

"Um, about that doll—" [Name] tried to reason with the woman, seeing how their work doesn't look good as it seems and they're just putting whatever just to move on and find the missing students. The woman turned her head with a menacing glare towards [Name], Kou and Yashiro that made them shudder in fear. "It looks ugly I know—"

She moved her gloved hand to the figure's cheek, then she smiled brightly afterwards like she had duality. "What a wonderful body..." She finished.

"Y-You like it?" Kou asks from the back, blushing a bit because of how beautiful the woman is. Assuming that everyone except Hanako is simping for the woman on the phone internally. The woman stood up and shook [Name]'s hands which the latter was flustered by the sudden action.

"I was quite a bind, you know? I had no idea what a human body is made of. I knew asking about humans about humans was a right idea." It's understandable since she's a supernatural that has no idea about the human world and her wisdom is to kidnap humans to create a build-a-bear Misaki edition—except, it's not build-a-bear because they're supposed to make a human.

"I'm sure this one would work." The woman slides her hand on the figure's thigh after letting go of [Name]'s hand. "Isn't that right Misaki?~" She moved closer to the figure's face. "Now try walking for me." The woman blew some magic to the hideous figure as it began to shake like it was alive. The group shuddered in fear but the woman was astonished to see how it goes.

Just then, the parts began to break apart from each other. The woman sighed in disappointment as she picked up the head of the doll, a shadow covering half of her face. "Another failure." She remarked as she lowered down her voice—does having duality a requirement of being one of the Seven Wonders of the school? By the looks of it she went from happy to serious. "What a shame."

"Pardon me for asking but have you seen the other kids here?" [Name] asks, feeling a little scared but she kept on a brave face because at this moment, the woman is about to snap.

"Others? You mean the children who failed?"

The woman stood up and looked at the group dead in the eye as a mountain of unknown figures start to appear behind her. "If you're looking for them, they're all around you." Yashiro spotted a familiar purple haired doll sitting amongst the pile of dolls and quickly ran towards it with tears in her eyes.

"Aoi!" She cried.

"Nene!" [Name] runs after her just as Yashiro sat down and grabbed Aoi—who is now a doll—and held her in her arms, calling her to wake up but then the doll fell off from it's body. "What did you do to her?!" [Name] shouted at the woman as she tries to comfort Yashiro hugging Aoi.

"I try and try but nothing works. I'll do as the rumors say and tear you apart." The woman summoned a large pair of scissors to attack the two girls. Luckily, Kou was there to block the blade using his right arm.

"Are you alright [Name]-senpai?!" Kou asks while trying to push off the blade but then his arm turned into a doll's hand. "Hey, what the hell is this?!" He exclaimed while looking at his dolled up arm.

"It looks like that thing turns humans into dolls when it cuts them."

"Transform into your cape or something!"

The apparition only shook his head and explained that he couldn't use his haku-joudai's powers because they're in Number Two's boundary. Hanako needed her permission to do so. "That would change if we get to her yorishiro." Yashiro was still hugging the headless doll with lifeless eyes but there are tears forming on her teardots.

Hanako gave Kou some words of encouragement before he gets his ass beat by Number Two before going to the two girls. "She's still alive you know?" Hanako told them. Yashiro glanced up to the apparition boy and [Name] quickly turned away to wipe her tears. She doesn't want anyone to see her cry anymore.

She wanted this to be the last time to cry for someone's loss. "This world is the boundary between life and death. Nothing can come to life here, but on the other hand—nothing dies either." Hanako held out his hand in front of [Name]. "Here, where there is no birth or death, the ones with the most power are those who don't know when to give up."

[Name] daintily takes his hand with a serious expression on her face. "Then, I'll do anything to find her." She said. Hanako's eyes widened in shock once she grabbed his hand—that is until his face twisted into a smirk with weird glint on his irises.

"Anything?" Hanako teased.

"If you're going to have unholy thoughts, no thanks." [Name] raised her hands and scooted away from him along with Yashiro because she thought that Hanako was planning something weird for her—and spoiler alert, he was. Hanako takes her hand, pulling her with Yashiro as he tied them back-to-back with a rope.

"Knot, check. Rope strength, check. Safety check, all green!" Hanako made sure to tighten the knot around the ropes to safely secure [Name] and Yashiro.

"For fucks sake Hanako—I'm not into this shit—" [Name] muttered under her breath, she closed her eyes to repeatedly remind herself that this is for Aoi and they're going to save her even if it means being tied. Yashiro was quite scared by Hanako's plans. "Yash, we're doing this for Aoi, our homegirl Aoi."

Hanako grabbed [Name] face closer so that he can explain the details of their plan. "This isn't the deepest part yet and the yorishiro is not here. So I was thinking that if it's not the very top, maybe it's at the very bottom." He whispered while tugging at the rope around her torso.

"Wait, don't tell me?" Yashiro looked at their direction.

Hanako only grinned goofily and [Name] smiled while interlacing her fingers with Yashiro's to hold hands. "Yep~ Hanako, let's get this bread!" She announced. "Let's get it." The apparition boy placed his hands on her shoulders and Yashiro was panicking internally because they are about to fall off the edge of the waterfall.

"I'm counting on you two." He said before shoving them off.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"OH MAN HOLY SHIT!" [Name] was probably the only one who enjoys jumping off in high places because she's shouting in anticipation and Yashiro, like any other ordinary person would act, was scared for her life. Kou heard the sound of his seniors screaming that almost got him distracted, thankfully Hanako was there to launch the scissors off of Number Two's hands.

"Sorry for making you wait, boy."

"Hanako, what did you do to them?" Kou asks.

"Don't worry they will be fine." Hanako assured the exorcist. "I think."

"You think?!" Kou exclaimed.

"We need to hold her back until the two find what she's after." Hanako told Kou as he puts on his fighting stance because Number Two can strike at them at any moment.

"Got it!"

so guys, i've been wanting to rewrite ghosted is because there are a lot of things i want to add more into the story, plus the og is more of a comfort book of mine when i got ghosted two years ago and it was meant to pour out my feelings of anger, longing and sadness to make me feel better, i wasn't expecting that the book would actually blow up despite being a vent and comfort book which is why with ghosting i will stick my foot out of my comfort zone becauseeeee since this follows the manga now, grim reaper arc, red house arc and far shore arc (up until chapter 86) will be added here AND YA GIRL FINALLY KNEW HOW TO HOOK THINGS TOGETHER SINCE WE HAVE MORE MANGA PLOT MATERIAL WOOHOO
