"Huh? You're giving me donuts?" Hanako asked Y/n in disbelief. "For real?"

      "If you keep asking I'll eat them myself." Y/n gives him the paperbag full of donuts while looking away from him. "Just get the donuts already, jeez!"

      Hanako started cheering while holding the bag of donuts. Y/n sweatdropped at his behavior as she sipped her tea. "I guess, that's making you happy."

      Hanako smiled softly at her. "You're back to normal today, Y/n."

      Y/n pointed at herself. "Me? Normal? Since when?"

      "You've been acting weird lately."

      Y/n scooted closer to Hanako and gave him a serious look. "Hanako-kun, you're a ghost and I'm ghosted, sounds weird but the situation is the same."

      "And I finally realized that you're sometimes a pain on the ass." Y/n finished as she pouted and twiddled her fingers. Hanako felt like there's an arrow stabbing him.

      "W-well, I won't deny it." Hanako sighed while holding the bag of donuts to his chest.

      Y/n chuckled at his behavior. "It's fine, you're my favorite kind of pain you know?"

      "I'm going to stick by your side forever even though that shit doesn't exist." Y/n tells him with a bright red blush on her face. "No matter how much of a pain you are,"

      Y/n grabbed his hands and intertwined it with hers. "I like you, Hanako-kun. So I'm going to stick being your assistant, friend and your soulmate!"

      They are each others mystery and that's what's making their bond special.

      A blush appeared in Hanako's cheeks as she heard the girl's words. He pulled Y/n into a hug that made the girl squeak at the sudden action.

      He buried his face on her shoulder, feeling his cold breathing that gave Y/n shivers down to her spine. Hanako whispered something to her ear. "I like you too, Y/n."

      The two of them let go of the hug and chuckled at each other. Y/n was about to open the bag of donuts, until a gust of wind hit her back that made her drop the bag.

      Hanako blocked Y/n as he saw a the origami swan with a dark aura surrounding it. "Watch out!" he yelled while protecting Y/n.

      His hat was blown away from the impact of the wind. "I don't know what kind of apparition you are, but we're going to have a discussion." Hanako pulled out his knife as he sliced the origami as it crumble into bits.

      Just then they heard an evil giggle coming from the swan. Hanako's eyes widened in shock as he realized whose voice it is. The large dark flame began to grow until the black koku-joudai appeared. "Found you~!"

      "Wow, that knife takes me back."

      'Who the fu——?'

      "You're going to protect that girl?" The dark smoke began to clear out to show the person. "Even though you killed me?"

      Y/n's eyes widened as she saw another Hanako infront of her, instead he has a black seal on his right cheek. "You haven't forgotten about me, right Amane?"

      "Hold up a second you have a fucking twin?!" Y/n whispered as she stared at Hanako and the other Hanako.

      "Did I scare you? I've got a great assistant, you know? She helped me get the way here."

      "Hey, Amane?" the twin puts his hand on his cheek. "Are you happy to see me?"

      Y/n pushed Hanako out of the way as she splashed her tea to the twin. "The hell are you?" she asked.

      "You're not half bad." he commented as he disappeared in smoke. "See you."

      Y/n dropped into her knees then looked at Hanako. "Was that the person you killed?"

      Hanako pinned her wrists to the ground that made Y/n mutter an 'oof' at the impact. Her eyes widened as she saw his eyes brimming with tears.

      Y/n's eyes began to water. Hanako realizes what he has done as he immediately lets her go. "Sorry I have to go."

      Hanako left her at the rooftop. Y/n saw the donuts that she meant to give to him. She stood up as she went to the handrails. Y/n took a deep breath. "WHAT THE FUCK?! HANAKO HAS A TWIN?! YET HE DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT HIM, THE TWIN MADE HIM TRAUMATIZED——"

      Y/n stopped herself from screaming anymore profanities and sighed. "I missed my chance again."

      Y/n puts her earphones on while cleaning the bathroom since she can't handle the awkwardness between her and Hanako after what happened.

      "Hanako-kun?" Y/n took off an earbud from her left ear. "You alright?"

      "I'm fine." he said while playing hanafuda with the Mokkes. Y/n puts back her earbud and continued cleaning.

      'He's acting normal, but he won't talk about yesterday.'

      Kou entered the bathroom with a pink ghost. "I caught an evil spirit making trouble at the Junior High entrance."

      "Aren't you gonna get rid of him?" Hanako asked the exorcist.

      "I stopped doing that." Kou tells him. "So I thought there will be another way to work things out."

      After Hanako told Kou about the ghost's regrets, the blonde exorcist dashed out of the bathroom along with the pink ghost.

      Y/n went home already like everyone else is. She sat on her swivel chair after dinner to do her homework. Y/n slid away from her table and stretched her arms.

      Y/n adjusted her oversized shirt and looked at the full moon on display from her window. She stood up as she went to her balcony.

      "So we're much alike, huh?" Y/n questioned. "Hanako-kun and I."

      "It doesn't matter who he had killed." Y/n tells the stars above her.  "I like Hanako-kun, that's it."

      'That was the first time I saw Hanako-kun cry. It was obvious that the past was haunting him again.'

      The cold night breeze gave Y/n shivers as she wrapped herself using her arms. "Hanako-kun, his past is a mystery."

      "I have so much to ask about you." Y/n chuckled.

      "So many things to be exact."
