I woke up, smiling at my special alarm tone, on the new phone Iris gave me. Since today was a special day, we all were allowed to sleep in unlike usual when we had to get up at 7 am for training. (Horrific mornings, I tell you.) The coldest month of December has the warmest of celebrations - Christmas (and New Year)- As the girls said (specifically Auriana), Something about Gifts and Trees and Ornamental decorations and other what not. I thought about how the holidays back on Ephidia, Valamus, were celebrated. Until I was interrupted -

"WAKE UP IT'S CHRIST- Ohh! You're already awake! Eee!" Auriana swung the door open and ran at for a hug. Luckily I've become accustomed to her surprise attacks now, and dodged her as she fell face flat on my bed. Of course the minor accident didn't affect her at the tiniest and she sprung up from the bed.

"Great ready quick and come down for breakfast, I'll wake the others~!" She said running out of my room. Christmas had doubled the amount of energy she'd normally have. Did she take a few dozen cups of caffeine or something?

But nonetheless she's nice overall - An energetic teenager with boy issues. But if I had an option, I'd pick to not be squashed by her.

Thinking about how today was going to be, I got dressed for this special celebration. Apparantly Lolirock was going to perform tonight as well, so the girls will probably rehearse until noon. Iris had planned to take us all to the Street Celebration happening down the road, all people of the neighbourhood celebrating Christmas together in the form of a party. So the girls were going to perform there in the evening and then at the stadium at night. A packed schedule was waiting for the trio, while Carissa, Lyna, Amaru and Aunt Ellen helped to decorate the house, for our personal celebrations. The party was held for both Christmas and New Year but mainly focused on the Christmas part.

Sadly Sunnybae was met by a storm on Christmas so they postponed the party to today.

I and Mephisto were told to go and bring the ingredients for the food menu today. We're one of the three houses in the neighbourhood who volunteered to help in food preparation for the neighbourhood party. A whole buffet awaits!

Thinking about the day's schedule, I pulled out a nice sweater that Aunt Ellen gave me to wear. The Sweater matched well with my outfit and I was off.

"Have you seen Mephisto?" I asked Iris.

"Yeah I'm pretty sure he's in his room-"

"IRIS! C'MON WE'VE GOT TO REHEARSE FOR THE SHOWS!!" Auriana called from downstairs.

"Coming!" Iris ran to the stairs.

"Wait- where's his room?!"

"Upsta- Yeah, upstairs!"

Sigh Guess this is on me.

I climbed the stairs to find myself between four small rooms - each one decorated for each princess, Iris , Auriana and Talia - the fourth room was divided into two for Carissa and Lyna. Can't even imagine how they live together.

How do they live together? I wanna know now..

I checked every room but none were his.
That's all the rooms here.. Where could- Oh!

There was one place I'd forgotten.

The Attic.

The Attic had a trapdoor as an entrance and a ladder laid there to climb up. The placement of the trapdoor was in a corner of the first floor. I tried climbing the ladder but if it weren't as unstable as Auriana's crushes, it would've been much easier.

The ladder started to fall backwards with me on the darn thing! Can I trade someone for better luck?

Of course Mephisto heard the creaks in the floor caused by the ladder and lent me a hand from the Attic. I grabbed his hand, supporting myself by holding onto the ledge of the trapdoor as the ladder fell down onto the floor beneath me.

I pulled myself upto the attic where Mephisto was crouching on the floor. "So, got yourself a room?" I smirked, getting up from my feet.

"We're not talking about this." He said crossing his arms, still on the floor.

"Anyways-" I started, walking over to his window. The view of the front yard was layed before my eyes and the decoration was stunning! Carissa and Lyna finally did something together.. "- come on. We've got to go to the store to get the food. Do you remember anything in that head of yours?"

"Hey!- Race you downstairs!" He challenged me before teleporting away.

Just to save yourself from the burn.! Though honestly it wasn't that much of a burn.. sigh

I got down eventually and we walked to the neighbourhood grocery store. Even though we could just teleport there, it would take up a lot of my energy, so no risks of dying too young may be involved today!

Walking down the sidewalk, I noticed that not many people used to walk to their destinations, rather they'd use these - Cars, or something? - Too much hardwork just to get from one place to another - study, give exams, almost fail, get an ID or License or whatever, and then start driving. - couldn't get me to move a muscle-

Oh, we're here?

I glanced around as We entered the store and I pulled out the list of things we needed to get. The list was long enough for the both of us. "Okay, let's see here. There's a lot of items we need so let's split up, and meet here when we're done. Here." I tore the list into two halves and gave one piece to Mephisto, and we went our ways.

Okay let's see here..

Cheese
Yeast powder
Food colouring
Fruits (Cherries, Mangoes, etc)
Veggies for salad. (Lettuce, tomato, etc.)
Chocolate cake mixture
Vanilla cake mixture

I got most the items except the vegetables and fruits since they're on the other side of the store. Walking to the other side, I noticed that black haired girl from when we first came to Earth. What was is- Oh right! Missy... She was scolding another caramel haired girl with violet eyes.

I probably shouldn't get in her way.... Just in case she trys to strangle me or something.

I got to the vegetables and fruits section and grabbed the items I needed.

I got the things from my half of the list and made it to the meet up point. Mephisto had been standing there before I got there, so he must've finished his list. We both had carts and I told him to put his stuff in my cart as I was going to pay. (Aunt Ellen gave me the money, since I'm basically broke.)

I walked to the counter and payed for the stuff. Now, may I just say, "This is a lot heavier than I thought." I said, carrying the huge bag out of the store, while Mephisto just walked beside and didn't even offer to help.

When we were out of anyone's eye-sight, I converted the bag into a mini hand bag with magic.

We walked home and gave Aunt Ellen the supplies. "Thank you dearie, oh you are so helpful. Oh and you too, young man." She added, noticing Mephisto's mouth dangling to the floor in astonishment. I mean... He didn't even offer to carry the bags so..?

And She went into the kitchen to prepare the food.

"So, what now?" He said, arms behind his head.

"Well, I have to help with cooking. Maybe you could help in the decoration or taking the decoration stuff to the area of the party? Just help the girls and don't make a mess." I narrowed my eyes at him before walking to the kitchen to help out Aunt Ellen.

"Oh wow! This is amazing!" Iris said while the girls walked into the kitchen. She gestured at the hundreds of cupcakes and little desserts me, Aunt Ellen and Lyna had made.

"Thank you, thank you!" Lyna bowed slightly as a sign of proudness.

"Oh you should thank these girls. They did most of the work! Thank you dearies." Aunt Ellen clarified, though she knew that we didn't do as much work as she did.

"Oh! It's 4 pm. The party starts at 5pm, doesn't it?"

Oh darn, we're gonna be late. Suits our luck just perfectly....

"Alright, gather up everyone!-" I announcing into the mic since no one else wanted to do it. I was a bit nervous but I'll just ignore that... For the time being...

Till I get my hands on someone I'm allowed to beat up for forcing me onto the stage.

That is.. You-know-who....

(Guys it's not moldy voldy btw)

"-get ready for ... -"

"Lolirock!" I said, walking off the stage for the girls to start.

Standing in front, I got bored watching them doing the same song from last week. Though it's one of my favourite songs from Lolirock, It just didn't make me get that excited.

Oh trust me.. living with them rehearsing the same songs for days is enough to get me to move out.

So with the short rant, I left the concert just to get back to the food tables. The food we made was probably the best, but hey.. I'm not saying the others' were bad or anything..

9:47 pm.. I checked my watch.. After this neighbourhood celebration, the girls would go to the stadium for a performance, dragging us along...

All and all.. everything would ultimately end at around 12 am or so.

"Hey, why are you here?! I called dibs on the food!" Mephisto appeared out of seemingly nowhere.

"YAHAA! WHA-" My reflexes didn't understand what happened and I punched Mephisto in the face. Right in the center. "-ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" I whisper-shouted at Mephisto while he grasped his face in pain.

"Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow! Oh Cladsnick! Oh come on, why does this happen to me?!" He said, holding his nose. I could see tiny tears forming in the corners of his eyes and I started to feel bad.

I got up from my seat and batted his hands away from his face, examining the bruise while his eyes widen in surprise. "Don't move, and.. sorry about that. You're the one who appeared out of nowhere, it was a reflex.."

"Okay, sorrry- ag!" He flinched while I brushed over the area that had turned a sore red, matching the tint of his cheeks. He sat down on a chair while I searched for something to stop the little child from crying his eyes out. Okay, I admit it's a bit much for a reflex but I do feel guilty about it.

"Alright, thank you for being a wonderful audience everyone! Now goodnight as we, Lolirock, need to go for a New Year's Special event in Sunnyvale Stadium, so if anyone's interested, they may go there and contribute to the orphanage funds!" Iris's voice filled my ears as I noticed they were leaving.

Quickly, I grabbed a candy Lolipop and reached Mephisto's chair. "Here, we gotta go now, I'll get you a bandaid on the way there." I said, dragging Mephisto up to his feet while he just made a im-gonna-cry-but-still-look-really-darn-cute face.

"Wait-" I started, watching him walk sloppy-ly, I realised something..

Something... Unusual, for him.

"-Are you... Drunk?"

"You're saying that wasn't apple juice?"

(I'll just leave this scene here. ;))

"HAPPY NEW YEAR SUNNYBAE!!" Iris announced, while the three girls posed in unique ways.

Lyna and Carissa found a way to spend the day together without any conflicts and actually got along.... For now.

For me and the drunk child?

Oh, well I had to treat his bruise and so we had to leave the stadium earlier than the others. But watching the fireworks from Mephisto's window while he slept a little too comfortably, supporting on my shoulder.
