Proudly celebrate our independence day,

Got freedom from British rule,

Became a democratic, and secular

And make India a powerful nation.

Gandhiji, Nehruji, Shastri Ji, and others

  All helped for gaining freedom,

  Didn't care about their lives but cared for ours.

  Keeping the ideology of nonviolence and truth.

Became United and fought for freedom,

Though having caste, religion difference

Still, we are united following oneness

Unity in Diversity is India's power and strength,

But illiteracy, corruption is the nation's weaknesses.

As we know, we got independence

But actually, are we independent?
