˓ ִֶָ𓄲 ☁️ WELCOME 𖦹 ࣪˖ ˒
Before we start this, I would like to say that I am in no way a professional or know all the do's and don'ts about designing.
I also want to add that there is no one right way of designing, instead there are many styles and techniques you can discover, what works for me may not work for you and the other way around of course. And since we possibly work under completely different circumstances, I will not go too far into detail with this guide and rather try to only focus on generalized advices.

˓ ִֶָ𓄲 ☁️ ABOUT ME 𖦹 ࣪˖ ˒
So, let me tell you a bit more about myself and what I have been doing for a living, in regards of wattpad and its design community!
₀₀₁ experience:
I started designing (here on wattpad) back in 2014/2015. Though I did have a lot of breaks in between and did not practice every single day for years straight. I also switched devices and programs quite a few times, which means I sort of started from nearly zero all over again sometimes. Long story short, I will mostly refer back to what I have learned within the past few years, since my latest 'official' comeback in 2020.
₀₀₂ what I use now:
Since I came back in 2020, I have been using an Apple iPad Pro with a matching Apple Pencil and am working with procreate (sometimes also a website called "photopea", to add colorings if needed).
₀₀₃ my creations:
I have mostly worked on book covers for wattpad, tried out quite a few icons and banners, as well as some random designs (character posters, stickers, logos, etc.).

˓ ִֶָ𓄲 ☁️ SOME RULES 𖦹 ࣪˖ ˒
This might seem unnecessary, but I want to state a few rules for this guide.
₀₀₁ | Please remain respectful towards each other. Everyone is allowed to share their opinions, but this is in no way an excuse to discriminate or bully anyone who does not share the same opinion (or in general)!
₀₀₂ | I do not support plagiarism, art theft or any other kind of copyright infringement and therefore will delete every comment that does promote these issues in any way.
₀₀₃ | Please do not use this guide as an opportunity to fish for compliments or similar. No one starts off perfect, we all work under different circumstances and improve in different ways at different paces. It takes practice to improve and me giving a few advices will not end up in a miracle that turns anyone into a design god(dess) over night. And neither do fake compliments. Joking around and having some healthy self criticism is fine, but constantly whining around and degrading your own works forces others into reassuring you with compliments, just for the sake of it. And that will not help a single bit. By all means, allow yourself to acknowledge mistakes as well as improvements. Allow yourself to be confident and appreciate effort you have put into your works.
₀₀₄ | In relation to the previous "rule",please try to not compare everything you do to what others do. I have said it before and I will say it again, we all work under different circumstances, have different amount of experience and generally different interests in styles and techniques. It is impossible to compare your works with those of someone else, as they have most likely been created in way too different ways. Damn, it is even difficult to really compare your own works with each other; as a good amount of time has probably passed, you have probably evolved and/or changed programs and devices or techniques, maybe switched to a completely different style even. So do yourself a favor and do not over analyze everything.
₀₀₅ | Know the difference between constructive and destructive criticism. Know the difference between bringing someone up, helping them to become the best version of themselves and bringing someone down, possibly for your own entertainment. Criticism is most likely a specific point of view from someone else and though it is nice to have a different perspective on something, it does not mean it is the only perspective and no one is obliged to live by it.
₀₀₆ | Please do not ask me to make specific tutorials on something. I am horrible at explaining stuff, most of the time I do not even know what I am doing myself and I simply do not have the time nor the required materials to create detailed tutorials. And, as said before, I try to generalize my advices instead of specializing them. Thank you!
007 | Feel free to ask questions, I will try my best to answer them as thoroughly as possible and maybe they even inspire some chapters. But, as mentioned, please refrain from expecting detailed tutorials or questions like "how did you do this cover" etc. Thank you!

˓ ִֶָ𓄲 ☁️ WARNINGS 𖦹 ࣪˖ ˒
Keep in mind: I am not afraid to take legal steps against people who are mistreating me or my works in any way. I do not care about how many followers you try to threaten me with, I do not care how much you try to kiss up my a$$ in order to get something from me and I do not care about what hardships you are going through that you try to guilt trip me with. Mute. Block. Report.

Therefore you are not allowed to make profit out of this content such as: using works of mine for books (or similar) you want to officially print and publish (includes wattpad paid stories); print my works and sell them (includes general prints, fabrics, merchandise, stickers or literally anything else).
In case you ignore this warning and proceed with making profit out of my works, you may face legal and/or financial consequences for doing so. I will not take any responsibility for that, because I do not create content for commercial use and I have clearly stated that.

If you happen to recognize someone else stealing, using, editing, recreating, copying or reposting any of my content (whether or not they claim to have my permission) please immediately inform me. My "permission" is only legit if I officially confirm it myself. I retain all rights to my works at any given time!!
₀₀₂ taking inspiration:
If you are inspired by my works and want to recreate them, reach out to me first and ask for my permission beforehand. Otherwise I will consider it as plagiarism (copyright infringement). If you are just "generally inspired" (e.g. see me doing a 'KPop x Disney Villains' theme and wanting to do one yourself, without further recreating my actual concepts in detail) provide inspiration credits back to me and let me know about it please.
In case you ignore this warning and proceed with violating any of the rules stated above, you may face legal and/or financial consequences. If you happen to recognize someone else stealing, using, editing, recreating, copying or reposting any of my content (whether or not they claim to have my permission) please immediately inform me.
