"I think you would make a wonderful chief of cardio, love." Derek spoke smoothly as he handed his fiancé a plate of eggs and toast before setting a bottle down in front of Star.

Atlas had been confronted by Richard about taking up the chief of cardio position now that Burke was gone. Richard felt as if Atlas was a great teacher and someone who could make a difference.

Atlas looked up to his fiancé hesitantly. "Really?"

Oh how Atlas loved calling Derek his fiancé. A select few people knew, well only Atlas's mom and Starlee. ( and the interviewer. ) The two were planning on telling everyone soon, hopefully in the next few days.

"Of course." Derek reassured and placed a kiss to Atlases lips as he moved around the kitchen, placing dirty dishes into the sink.

"I would be a great chief of cardio, wouldn't I sweets?" Atlas grinned childishly at Star, who babbled and reached her little hands out towards Atlas. "Yeah, I would." Star squealed as Atlas picked her up and placed her on his hip.

Atlas Peter ( Lee-Sunny ) Shepherd ✨
can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that Atlas Shepherd sounds so cute.

╚═ ☆ ═╝

Atlas held Star on his hip as he walked behind Derek, who was stroking towards Richard Webber and Erica Hahn.

"Derek Shepherd, you know Erica Hahn." Richard spoke, not having seen Atlas behind him. When Atlas took a step to the side, Richard spotted him and instantly started to introduce him. "And this is Atlas Lee-Sunny, chief of cardio."

Derek and Atlas both send the new attending a smile as Mark walks up.

"And this is Dr. Mark Sloan, head of plastics. Erica Hahn."

Mark smirks slightly, "Ah, the new Atlas." He mutters towards Erica before turning towards Atlas. "And your the new Burke!"

Derek shakes his head. "Welcome. Excuse us." Derek pulls Atlas and Mark to the side.

"What exactly is a gentlemen's evening?" Mark asked as he lifted Star from Atlas hip. "And look at you, such a cutie!"

"I don't know. It's an evening with gentlemen." Derek shrugged.

Atlas let out an 'ooo' sound and leaned over to cover Stars ears. "Strippers!"

"Strippers?"

Derek shock his head. "No, I don't...I don't think the chief meant strippers." He stuttered out.

"Sure sounds like strippers." Mark turned to Bailey, who had just walked up. "Dr. Bailey? What's the first thing that comes to mind when I say the words "gentlemen's evening"?"

"Tassels. Shiny, sequined tassels and $1 bills." Bailey answered dryly.

"See? Strippers." Atlas grinned triumphly.

"There will be no strippers. I'm almost positive." Derek argued lightly.

"So you don't know what this thing is either?"

"No, but you're in?"

"Why not? I like to be surprised." Mark grinned before walking away with Atlas so they could take Star to daycare. The salt and pepper haired man vouched Starlee on his hip as he turned slightly to Atlas. "So who's dad and dada?"

"What do you got?" Oliver asked as he moved closer to the ambulance driver who had information.

"Chest pain, tamponade, ruptured aorta?" Christina peaked up. She was cardio deprived and Erica wouldn't teach her yet, and Atlas — well, he needed a break from the scalpel hungry, heart loving baby resident.

"Uh, more like a clown car. Jackie Escott, 25 years old, dislocated shoulder, lac to her thigh, vital signs are stable." The ambulance driver started, pointing to one of the patients on the gurney before pointing to the other one. "And Helena Boyd, 26 years old... also stable with obvious nasal fracture, facial lacs and a chunk of missing scalp."

"She ripped out my hair." Helena complained.

Jackie shrieked. "She ripped out my shoulder!"

"You ripped out your own shoulder when you were trying to push me off of the platform!" Helena, one of the woman holding the dress countered as Oliver read through the chart once more.

"Who let go of the dress? Did anybody let go of the dress?" One of the fiancé's frantically asked.

One of the other fiancés looked to his soon to be wife. "Hang in there, honey. Don't let her psych you out, all right?"

Callie looked to the judge, an unamused look on her face. "Okay, what the hell's all this?" She asked.

"It's a store contest. I'm the judge. Last one to let go of the dress..." The judge sighed.

"Wins the wedding of my dreams."

"Of my dreams."

"All right, enough. You two are injured, okay? You need to get your priorities straight and let go of the...let go... let go of the dress so we can treat you. All right, let go now. Now." Callie snapped, looking back and forth between the two soon to be brides.

"Yeah, that's not gonna happen."

"All right. Fine. Let's move." Callie grumbled.

╚═ ☆ ═╝

"No way. No frickin' way." Jackie shock her head side to side as she tugged on the dress.

"It's the only solution if neither of you will let go of the dress." Callie said as she hung an IV.

"It's very simple. Dr. Torres needs to treat Jackie's shoulder and leg. So, Jackie, you need a proxy." Mark explained.

"What?" The brown haired soon to be bride questioned.

"Think about it, babe. This gives you an advantage. You get to rest your hand and come back refreshed. Give me the dress. I'll be the proxy." The fiancé  to Jackie leaned over to whisper, but he was still loud enough that Oliver could hear him from where he stood next Mark and Callie.

The other Fiancé shock his head. "No way. This isn't fair. You think this is fair?"

Mark kept a straight face as he looked to the intern. "Dr. O'Malley's the proxy."

"What?" George eyes widened.

"He'll hold on to the dress."

"Hold the dress? You just want me to...stand here and hold a dress?"

Mark smirked. "No one ever said internship was easy."

"Dude, you're job kinda sucks, huh?" One of the fiancé's asked as Oliver laughed quietly, but George still noticed.

"Hello? Watch the shoulder." Jackie deadpanned as the doctors moved her to a separate gurney.

Alex, Lexie and Atlas walk into the ER.

"Oh, check it out. Bambi's a bridesmaid." Alex chuckled.

"You're right. This did cheer me up." Callie told Mark.

╚═ ☆ ═╝

"Atlas!" Christian exclaimed loudly as she waked clover to the new chief of cardio. Atlas was reading a wedding magazine, and was enjoying it until the gear intern had stepped beside him.

"Yes, C?" He asked and closed the magazine.

"Hahn has a patient and he's allergic to anesthesia... Wait, where you just reading a wedding magazine?"

"The patines allergic? What else?" Atlas avoided answering the question about the magazine.

"He needs a cabg and I think a high thoracic epidural to numb him from the chest down. It would work, I've some studies and cases where it was successful."

Atlas let out a sigh. "Lets go talk to Hahn."

Christina saw the ring. "Derek proposed?!" She exclaimed just a little to loudly.

"Shhh!" He shushed her. "But yes he did!"

"Congratulations."

╚═ ☆ ═╝

"Dr. Hahn, I know how you can do the surgery on the patient who is allergic to anesthesia." Christina spoke as she and Atlas moved closer to the new cardio attending.

"Well, no anesthesia means no ventilator. No ventilator means no cabg. Not a whole lot of wiggle room there." Dr. Hahn told her.

"Just listen, please." Atlas told the doctor who sighed and nodded for Chritian to continue.

"You can operate on him while he's awake."

"Yang..." Hahn sighed.

"You can use a high thoracic epidural to numb him from the chest down. Let him breathe on his own the entire time. I mean, they pulled it off in India last month, and then again in — " Christina explained onto be cut off.

Izzie walked up to the three, not realizing that they were having a conversation. "Dr. Hahn, you wanted to sign the discharge papers for Mr. Arnold?"

"Not quite yet." Hahn denied.

╚═ ☆ ═╝

"Uh, chief." Derek and Atlas walked up to Richard.

"Awake open-heart surgery?" Richard said.

"I want to talk to you about tonight." Derek told the man.

"Have you heard about this awake open-heart surgery?" Richard asked once more.

"Yeah." Atlas nodded.

"I've invited Sloan and Atlas. And, um, well, I'm wondering what I should tell him to expect."

Richard hummed. "Mm, tell him to expect a good time."

"Okay, so what is that, poker, cigars, whiskey? I mean, what kind of things?" Derek pressed.

"A good time, Shep." Richard smiled.

╚═ ☆ ═╝

Atlas had left Star with his mother for the night so he could go out and drink without having to worry about being hungover and taking care of the few month old child.

"He doesn't have any secret fetishes, right? He really... he doesn't strike me as a fetish kind of guy." Mark questioned as he looked between Atlas and Derek.

"Probably not, no." Atlas played with the ring on his finger.

"Hey, Richard, you gotta tell us what this evening is about. You've been obtuse, it's been fun but, you know, we're getting a little freaked out now. What's a gentlemen's evening?" Derek looked to the chief.

"It's an evening with no ladies, just gentlemen." Richard shrugged.

"That's it?"

"Well, yeah."

Erica Hahn walked up to the adults. "Pretty boys living in the woods. This is very charming. Or sad. I'm not sure which."

"What happened to no ladies?" Mark asked and looked to Richard.

"Yeah." Derek nodded and Atlas lightly kicked his shin. "Ouch."

"Plans change."

╚═ ☆ ═╝

"Oh, this is just unfair!" Richard exclaimed, he wasn't doing too well at monopoly, the game they were playing.

"In your face, banker. Park place is mine. Give it up. Come on. Yeah, oh, with a hotel! I think you owe him money."
