Cristina whips around to face her interns, "I have five rules. Memorize them. Rule number one, don't bother sucking up, I already hate you. That's not gonna change."

Izzie is with her interns at a nurse's station, "Trauma protocols, phone lists, pagers. The nurses will page you. You answer every page at a run...a run. That's rule number two." When the blond notices that they aren't following she waves her hand. "You're supposed to follow me."

Alex is walking through the hall with his interns, "Your first shift starts now and lasts 36 hours. You're grunts, nobodies, the bottom of the surgical food chain. You run labs, you write orders, you work every second night until you drop, and you don't complain."

Meredith is showing her interns the on-call rooms, "On call rooms. Sleep when you can, where you can. You know, but not with anybody. Not attendings...especially not attendings. Sleeping with attendings...not a good idea. Where was I?"

George who's now an intern once again looks to Meredith, "Um, rule number three. If you're sleeping, do not wake you unless a patient's actually dying."

Eliza is showing her interns the on-call rooms now, "The dying patient better not be dead when I get there, because not only will you have killed someone, you will have woken me for no good reason. Are we clear?"

And intern raises their hand.

"Yes?" Eliza mutters once seeing the hand held high.

"That was four rules. You said five."

"Rule number five... when I move, you move." Eliza's pager goes off. "Let's go!"

Eliza, Alex, Izzie, Cristina and Meredith are in the deserted hallway hangout. A place where they eat their lunches and gossip like teenagers.

"I hate them." Christina spoke up referring to her interns.

"You don't hate them. You hate you." Meredith counted back.

"That was hideous. I feel like a fraud." Izzie comments.

Alex smirks, "I rocked it. I think I'm the new nazi."

"Oh, you are not the new nazi. If anything's it's me or El, I heard she got a page at the end and everyone was scared shitless because she kept yelling at people."

George enters the hallways. "Meredith, I need to talk to you."

Izzie peeks up. "George. Hi."

"Hey." The intern said quickly.

"How was your vacation?" Izzie kept going, not noting that his tone really said fuck off.

"Um, fine. Um, Meredith, can we..."

"Cause mine was. I didn't do much. I hung out alone... for 17 days. Which is the last time that I saw you, the day of Cristina's wedding, which was — well...then Mer, El and Cristina went on Cristina's honeymoon without me."

Alex smirked. Girl-on-girl-on-girl honeymoon."

"And then Alex took a road trip to see Ava without me." Izzie continued to blabble.

Alex whipped his head towards Izzie. "I did not go to see Ava. And her name's Rebecca. And I didn't go see her. I just drove in that direction."

"Oh, why is everyone so tingly and hurt? I mean, I'm the one who was left at the altar. I'm fine, by the way. I honeymooned in Hawaii and I snorkelled." Christina told the group.

Izzie looked right at George with big wide eyes, "What'd you do, George?"

"Um, Meredith...I...I really need to talk to you." George stuttered out.

The new interns enter the hallways, chatty and full of excitement.

"Uh, hey, you want to know..." Christina sees the interns causing her to shake her head. "Hey, um, this is for residents only. No interns."

"Yeah." Meredith nodded her head in agreement.

"Yeah, get outta here."

"Don't even think about it." Eliza threatened lowly.

"Babies." Alex snarked.

"Yeah, go away." Izzie motioned for them to leave.

"007's in training."

"Seriously." Christina scoffed.

George looked to his friends sadly, "I guess I should be going, too."

"No, george. We didn't mean you." Meredith was quick to add.

George shook his head. "No, I'm an intern."

Eliza loved being a resident now. Lots of things her new, but being a resident meant she was one step closer to become a peds surgeon. One think she enjoyed now was the look she could give her interns — it was her "I'm in charge now, bitch!" look.

"Have you seen Burke?" Meredith questioned Christina.

"No. Have you seen Oliver?" Christina counted bluntly.

Oliver was on a well needed vacation. He escaped to his home town for a few weeks — a deal he had struck up with the chief when he entered the older mans office crying. Yes, Ollie was crying. He was upset that grief from out of no where, grief he thought he had dealt with came rushing back. The guilt that he felt because he hadn't gotten to Meredith when she drowned, or the feeling he would never forget when he left his brother in the hands of Derek, only for the elder Lee-Sunny son to collapse and have his heart stop beating.

So yes, Oliver was in a much needed break.

"No. El, have you seen Mark?" Meredith looked away from Christina to look at Eliza.

Eliza had slept with Mark three times since what was supposed to be Burke and Christina's wedding. The night of the wedding, then the night she came back to Seattle, and the latest time she had done it with Sloan, was this morning before she had to give her speech to her new interns.

"Wait, you haven't seen either of them since the wedding? And you haven't seen Mark since this mornings on-call hook up?" Izzie looked between each of the girls as she talked.

"Nope."

"And you're all fine?"

"Yep."

Izzie looked between the three girls, "Wow...You're either incredibly healthy or completely messed up."

The ambulance arrives and Eliza rushes over to meet the ambulance driver who holds a chart.

"Unrestrained driver, DOA at the scene. Just need someone to pronounce him." The ambulance driver hands Eliza a chart so she can double check everything.

"Fun! Okay, dead guy. Why'd you get me all excited with the sirens?" She addressed the driver before turning to her interns, who all looked eager? Maybe scared to see what she said next. They definitely thought that Eliza would make them practice on the dead guy. "Okay, who wants to see a dead guy?"

Eliza stows back so they can take a look well she's scribbles something down on the chart.

"Okay, everybody get a good look?" Eliza checked her watch, "Time of death...8:22."

The supposedly dead man breathes.

"Zombie!"

"Not time of death. This guy is not dead." Eliza panics.

The ambulance driver blinks in surprise, "He was dead."

"Well, he's not dead now. Let's bag him. Okay,we've got a...we've got a guy who's risen from the dead over here!"
