Atlas liked to snack on treats, he really truly did. Today was this big event where Catherine Avery was showing up and handpicking people to help with a world breaking surgery.
Atlas wasn't very interested, he was actually more interested in the bag of chocolates in his lap. He was also very interested in what kind of desert he would make for Teddy and Henry's dinner party tonight.
"Wake up, everybody! I know, I know, it's grand rounds." A woman walked across the stage towards the small stand where she would talk into a microscope. "Where we have to sit and listen to somebody talk about how somebody did something and here's how they did it, and there's not enough coffee in Brazil for this." Majority of the people laughed. "Well, not today. Today we are going to do. Today I'm going to change a life. And maybe make medical history, too."
Atlas leaned against his husband who looked awfully tired — he was, the couple have been up with so much paperwork they haven't had a whole bunch of time for sleep. "I change lives all the time."
Derek nodded, yawning. "You do, love."
Catherine waves her hands around, speaking loudly as she looks out towards the audience of medical staff."And I can't do it alone, so who wants to step into the future with me?"
April Kepner and Oliver Lee-Sunny cheer loudly. As loud as they can, they even clap their hands together to make some noise. When April noticed that they were the only two who cheered, she sinks back into her seat — when Oliver notices that everyone was looking at him, he waved.
"Okay. That's — that's all right. That's a start. Let's see if I can get a few more. Ryan, honey, would you come out here, please?" A man walked onto the stage, just like Catherine had instructed. "Everybody, his is Ryan."
"Hi." Ryan waved slightly.
"Ryan, could you show everybody what' we're here to do today?" And at Catherine's words, Ryan dropped his robe and let it gather at his feet. "Ladies and gentleman, I'd like to invite a few very lucky residents to scrub in on this coutry's first ... penis transplant."
Atlas gasped as he sat up in his seat, hitting Mark on the shoulder as he did so. "You better get on that case."

When Oliver and Alex met, they had been standing around in an operating room as Richard Webber gave them a speech of their lives.
( The two had locked eyes with each other, as if one would charge at the other and they would get into a ridiculous fight over something stupid. They sized each other up, Alex believing that Oliver wouldn't make it far, and Oliver believing that Alex looked to scary for the program.
They had really met after that. When Oliver had been struggling to suff his bag in his locker, failing miserably as he did so. Oliver had already been dressed in his scrubs, and there were a few magnets lining the metal locker, he just wasn't able to fit his bag into his locker. Alex had been standing by the side, watching, and annoyed at the fact Oliver was struggling when he shouldn't have been. So Alex had simply pushed the bag into the locker and left Oliver alone. )
Oliver and Alex weren't the best of friends, but when Zola arrived at Seattle Grace Mercy West, Alex didn't hesitate in telling him and Meredith.
The action was something Oliver wouldn't forget, and he would forever be thankful that Alex had told him. And despite the fact that Owen and Atlas had stopped him and Meredith from seeing Zola, he was able to watch from the gallery as they preformed surgery on her.
He ended up buying Alex a coffee from the best coffee cart in the hospital, even though that wouldn't be enough to repay him.

"You're on my service?" Atlas questioned as Christina neared him.
"I am!" Christina nodded eagerly, she was trying to distract herself from the fact that somewhere in the hospital her person was freaking out because Zola was in the hospital. "And I've read the case for the surgery your heading into."
"Great, come on, let's do some teaching." Atlas waved Christina forward with full intent on letting her do most of the surgery.

"We broke up!" Miranda Bailey said into her phone, paging the pavement outside of the hospital as she did so. "We broke up!"
Atlas's eyes widened as he processed the news, he was pretty sure he would have at least gotten to throw them an anniversary party. "You broke up?"
"Yes, Atlas, me and Eli broke up." Bailey stopped pacing. She stood there as she listened to the silence.
"The dinner party! Bails! You deprived him of a dinner — that is great — where are you?" Atlas mumbled into his phone. He eyed the kitchen where Teddy was currently getting him and herself another drink.
Bailey sighed. "Atlas, don't give me that too! I know I deprived him of a meal."
"You should forget about him, date Warren, and come to the dinner party!"
