MARCH 7 YEAR 20

Today was the day Shihye left to Donggu District to be an intern at an asylum.

I didn't want her to go, but at the same time I realised that I couldn't do anything to stop her. Before she left, she knocked on my room to say her goodbye. But I didn't respond and told her to go away (I didn't know what I was thinking!).

"Goodbye, Kai. Take care of yourself."

Then she left.

And I regretted every bit of not opening the door for her, pull her to my embrace and hug her until I couldn't anymore. I guess that will be the last time I'll ever hear your voice again, Shihye.

I'll miss you.
