Changbin had been right. It was a bad idea to take these three girls shopping.

Now, he sat in the backseat next to Mya. Alaska was driving, with Riley sitting shotgun manning the aux. They were blasting Best Song Ever by One Direction at max volume, screaming the lyrics at the same time.

Changbin didn't know any of the words, and no amount of Mya poking him in the side saying "you know the words, c'mon, I know you know!" would magically jog his memory.

"AND WE DANCED ALL NIGHT TO THE BEST SONG EVER!" the girls shouted along with the song. Riley was head banging, Mya was bouncing up and down in her seat, and Alaska was pumping both her fists to the beat.

"LASKA, PUT YOUR HANDS ON THE WHEEL!" Changbin tried to yell over the music, but he was drowned out by the other girls, and the five members of One Direction. How did he even know there were five members? Mya must have filled him in on each of their names.

"We're good Bin!" Alaska reached back, trying to pat him on the knee. Her arms weren't nearly long enough, so she just swung at empty air. "I'm a great driver!"

"She's never gotten in an accident." Mya nodded seriously to him.

Changbin rolled his eyes. "That means nothing to me. I've felt the amount of curbs you've hit within the past fifteen minutes alone."

"Not like you're any better," Riley frowned. "Ono one wants to ride with you."

"Okay, that's just rude." Changbin rolled his eyes. "Everyone loves me."

"We do love you," Mya conceded. "When you're a passenger."

"See?" Alaska tried to turn around, but had to swerve out of the way of a driver who crossed in front of her. "Okay that wasn't my fault!" she said defensively.

"Yeah, I'm sure," Changbin sighed. He'd braved years with the likes of Han Jisung and Kim Seungmin, but half an hour with these girls, and he was beat.

"I didn't know you were such a party pooper anyway, Bin," Riley tsked.

"Yeah, you're supposed to be the fun one of my brothers friends!" Alaska nodded.

"Hey, I am fun!" Changbin complained. "But in order to be fun, I have to be alive!"

"So not true, I bet the afterlife is a blast," Riley replied.

"I want to live," Mya agreed with Changbin.

"Mya and I will laugh on both of your graves," Changbin responded to the other girls.

"Ugh, have some faith in me for once!" Alaska squinted at them through her rear view mirror. "I would never kill any of you! Not purposely, at least!" She braked hard, pulling into a parking spot.

Changbin was sure he had whiplash.

"Ooh we're here!" Mya shoved the door open and hopped out.

Riley jumped out after her friend, and Changbin followed them. Alaska put the car in park and got out too, stowing her keys in her fuzzy purple bag that looked like a rabbit.

"So, what kind of snacks do the girls like?" Changbin asked as they walked down the aisles of the grocery store.

"Shouldn't you know that, simp?" Riley raised her eyebrows.

"Yeah, you're always talking to Lanhua," Mya agreed.

"You probably know her even better than us." Alaska bobbed her head.

"I don't know her that well," Changbin muttered, avoiding their gazes.

He wanted to know you, who wouldn't? But he'd only spent two weeks in person with you. How well could he really get to know someone in that amount of time?

"Okay, well she's a fitness girly, like you," Alaska persisted. "But she likes a mix of healthy and unhealthy stuff."

"She really likes shrimp flavored stuff," Riley added. "One of her faves are shrimp chips."

"She's alway eating those with her green tea," Mya chimed in.

"Okay, so shrimp chips and green tea for Hua," Changbin grabbed a few bags and threw them into the basket. "And I know she really likes smoothies, so maybe I'll get her a few bottled smoothies too."

"She's obsessed with fruit candy too," Alaska said, grabbing a bag of Skittles. "Especially the sour ones."

"She was eating those all night at our sleepover, wasn't she?" Mya giggled. "I didnt know she liked unhealthy stuff!"

"Real fitness people like both," Changbin teased, and the girls rolled their eyes at him.

"Okay, and what about the other girls? I think my friends would be pissed if I didn't get them something they liked."

"Renee likes pretzels a lot," Riley supplied. "And snickers."

"Okay, we'll get her a bunch of those, and a few bags of pretzels," Changbin agreed, grabbing a mix of different pretzel flavors. "And JJ?"

"She's pretty down with most snacks," Mya replied. "But she really likes cookies, especially chocolate chip. And she likes orange soda and salt and vinegar chips."

"Nice, add those," Changbin held the basket out as the girls threw snacks in. "And lastly, Tessa?"

"She's obsessed with Sour Patch Kids." Alaska tossed a few bags in. "And she likes egg rolls, so I thought maybe we could get Minho to make her some. And she likes ginger ale, so I added that too."

"Damn, we might need a cart," Changbin glanced down at all the stuff. "Thank god I'm so strong, I can carry it all," he smirked, flexing his arms at the girls.

"Bin what the hell, we're not your intended audience!" Mya exclaimed.

"Yeah, I'm taken!" Alaska gasped dramatically, covering her eyes.

"What would Lanhua say?" Riley covered her mouth in pretend shock.

"Ha ha, so funny." Changbin waggled his finger at them. "Who says I was trying to impress you anyway? That was just my natural strength showing through!"

"You could show that natural strength by carrying some snacks for us." Riley grinned. "You promised, remember?"

"Yeah, yeah, you can each get a few things," Changbin replied.

"Yayyyyy!" Mya squealed, racing down the aisle, scooping two bags of popcorn and three lollipops off the shelf.

"Ah hell yeah!" Riley fist pumped, grabbing a bag of barbecue chips and black licorice.

Alaska raced away, grabbing a bag of hot chips and air heads, along with two cup noodles. "One for me one for Felix!" she said before Changbin could say anything.

"Why do I have to buy things for your boyfriend?" Changbin shook his head. "He should be treating you, not me! That's just unfair."

"You can treat Lanhua when she gets here," Alaska countered. "But until then, you get to buy us whatever we want. We're getting donuts after this too, right?"

"No!" Changbin protested. "We'll go, and you can watch me eat them."

"I've been so generously driving us around! The least you could do is buy me a few donuts," Alaska whined.

"Yeah, you should be grateful that we taught you who One Direction is," Mya added.

"Now you know all the members! You're really one of the girls," Riley agreed.

"If I get to pick all the donuts, then maybe we can go." Changbin grabbed a bag of candy for himself, because why not? "Now let's get the hell out of here."

He chucked the bag of candy at Riley's head, who ducked, causing it to skid across the floor.

"What the hell?" Riley cried, grabbing the bag and throwing it back at him.

Changbin caught it, and shook his head at her. "Not very good reflexes, Riles," he teased.

"Woww, Mister Jokester over here," Riley motioned to him grandly. "How did you learn to be so hilarious?"

"That's how he bagged Lanhua!" Mya said helpfully. "So he must have been funny for awhile!"

"That's true, he has," Alaska agreed.

"I've very far from having 'bagged Lanhua'. Girls don't like funny guys," Changbin snorted.

"What are you talking about?" Mya looked affronted. "Of course girls like funny guys!"

"Yeah, you think I like Lix just for his looks?" Alaska raised her eyebrows. "Well, that is a big part of it, but still. He's so funny!"

"If they're not funny, I might as well just watch porn," Riley added.

"Boring guys aren't much better than a sex toy!" Alaska declared.

"Guys, stop!" Mya groaned. "People might be listening!"

"Like you don't agree, Mya!" Alaska prodded her.

Based off of Mya's silence, she did.

"Well, do you think my friends are funnier than me?" Changbin demanded. "If you like funny guys so much, why did you pick them and not me?"

"Are you saying you would have wanted to date us, Bin?" Alaska said slyly.

"No, of course not," Changbin dismissed. "You're all annoying as hell. But really, are they?"

"Well, not really," Alaska shrugged. "You're one of the funniest guys I know. But Lix makes me laugh and think, you know?"

"Every guy I like is funny and nerdy at the same time," Riley said. "You gotta have both. But being funny is important."

"Jeongin is funny too," Mya agreed. "But that's not the main reason why I like him. Besides, you're kind of known as the jokester, Bin."

"Congrats, you're the funniest man alive," Riley chuckled.

"Yeah, just because you're the funniest doesn't mean you're excused from paying!" Alaska added.

"Now c'mon, we want donuts!" Mya said impatiently.

Changbin sighed. "Yeah yeah, don't we all."

After everyone checked out of the grocery store (leaving Changbin's wallet considerably lighter), they headed to the donut shop. Asthe girls ran around choosing their favorites, taking pictures for Instagram, and having a great time, he couldn't stop thinking about their conversation back at the store.

The three girls who he was closest to, besides you, dated guys because they were funny and something else.

But what happened if everyone else was right. What if he was just funny, and nothing else?

well, this chapter was mostly silly, fun, filler, but the end... poor bin! why would he think that he's only funny and that's it?? our chaotic trio knows that's not all there is to him, but he didn't believe them. i guess we'll see in the next chapters if lanhua will be the one to make him believe! next chapter is our reunion y'all, so look forward to that! how cute was it seeing our girls with changbin?? they're so silly and random, i love them. comment all your thoughts, and give binnie all the love he deserves!
