ETHAN DOLAN

We both walk back to our sheltor as the sun is starting to set. We stand in front of the sinking sun as we enjoy the last rays of sunshine. I suddenly hear a weird noise and I look at the sky .

A helicopter is flying above us and I instantly feel relief and I start shouting for the people to notice us. Roni looks at me weirdly as to what I am doing but she soon realises what is happening and we both shout to capture the attention of the helicopter.

The helicopter notices us and lowers down. The strong wind hits us in the face as a rope is realeased and Roni starts to climb it and then I climb after her. the people help us up and the helicopter takes off .

We're finally going home.

I instantly run towards Nessa and hug her. She hugs me tightly. I missed her so much. " I missed you Roni" she says crying a little and I pull back as a tear slips out my right eye too.

" I missed you too Nessa". I then hug my mom and dad. It feels good to be back. They look so relieved to see me. I see Ethan re uniting with his family. His eyes meet mine and we looks at each other when I look away.

We thank the officers who found us and get in the car to get home. The car ride home is silent and I look out the window taking in the surroundings. Thank God I am back.

We get home and I run to my room and change into some comfortable clothes. Nessa comes into my room and hands me my phone. Oh am I relieved to see that thing. " Omg thank God where did u find this?" I say opening it.

"you dropped your purse on the boat" she says chuckling. "Now come and eat. You must be hungry " she says. " Hell I am" I say and follow her to the kitchen. Mom serves us dinner and I eat at such a rapid speed I can't even breathe now.

" So what did u do there? What happened?" My dad asks me. Then I tell them everything leaving out the Ethan and mine part. They look so relieved and happy I came back and I couldn't be more thankful too.

I finish eating and drink some water then head to my room and collapse on my bed. I open my phone and I see a message from Aaron.

Omg I forgot about him. I feel bad about what I did with Ethan and he doesn't deserve this. But I can't tell him I don't have the courage to do that.

Aaron : hey Roni! How are you? Are you fine? I heard they just found you on this remote island.
Me : hi. I'm fine. Yea thank God they found me.
Aaron : yea. I missed u sm. Wanna meet tmrw?
Me: would love 2. Tmrw 3 pm at Jesse's Cafe. Don't be late 😘💝
Aaron: haha won't be don't worry. Bye love you babe❤

I put my phone down. What do I do? The feelings I feel for Ethan are too strong and I don't feel that much for Aaron now and I feel bad that I am betraying him. No one can know about this now. Why did this happen ugh.
