Darkness that was the first thing that surrounded her when she opened her eyes. She felt a deep pain run along her flesh as she sat up. The softness of grass and mud could be felt beneath her.

She groaned as she pressed her fingers into her scalp, she felt the warmth of blood. The crimson liquid stained her skin rather quickly.

She looked at her clothes. They were tore and bloody, she sat up from the ground slowly looking down at her bare feet. She couldn't remember what happened, she certainly didn't know where she was either. The sky was dark as she walked along the pathway, her body ached.

She spotted the school in the distance. It was dark but if she looked close enough she could see lights in some windows. She walked inside being careful not to be seen as she walked towards her room.

The hallway was cold as she held herself, she shivered as she pushed her door open. Her skin ached as she pulled her jacket off throwing it on the ground.

She cried out as her body began burning, she pulled her shirt off her fingers touching her back. She yelled out at the sudden wave of pain that ran through her body.

Blood dripped down onto the floor as she looked into the mirror. A huge hole was in her flesh, and something was jabbed in it.

She groaned as she leaned into her desk. Sweat running down her forehead as she struggled to reach for the object that was stuck in her back.

The door pushed itself open and thing ran inside she turned "thing, I need you to get Wednesday. Tell her it's an emergency!". He ran out of the room fast and Erna let out a heavy breath.

She pressed her fingers into her scalp grabbing hold of something jammed in her hair. She pulled it out looking at it. It was the end of a blade but it was rather small, like it chipped.

At the sound of the door moving she turned letting out a breathe of relief when Wednesday walked inside with thing behind her.

"Thing said you needed help" Erna leaned into her desk "I'm gonna show you something, I have no idea how it happened. But I just need help with it".

Wednesday nodded as Erna walked towards her, she turned around slowly. "There's something stuck in it, I woke up in the woods. I can't remember what happened. It hurts".

Wednesday moved more closer "it looks like a bone of some sorts" Erna frowned "a bone? You don't think it's my bone do you?".

Wednesday shock her head "this is something else. If I can get a better look, I'll be able to pinpoint what it is that did this to you".

"I feel like I'm losing my mind, one second I'm here and then the next I'm in the middle of nowhere. Any ideas why this is happening?".

"I'm sure I'll figure it out" Erna huffed slightly "just get it out, it burns. I would've asked Ajax but I feel like he would freak out, you're the only other person I thought of to help me".

Wednesday touched the wound slightly and Erna finched slightly "it's deep, this will hurt". Erna sighed "I'll be okay, especially if you're here".

Wednesday blinked as she looked at Erna "I trust you". Erna leaned into her desk pinching her eyes closed as Wednesday pressed her fingers into the wound. Erna hissed in discomfort.

She felt the warmth of the blood running down her back as Wednesday pulled the object out. She let out a heavy breath "gosh, that was awful".

Erna turned looking at the object in Wednesday's grasp "what is it? Can you tell now that it's out?". Wednesday placed it into a bag carefully "it's a claw of some sorts, we'll use it as evidence".

"You think it was from that creature? The one from before?" Erna rubbed at her back slightly "its not healing like it's suppose to".

Erna sat down on her bed "I feel like I'm gonna pass out, and I'm also like freaking out. What was I doing in the woods? What attacked me..".

She looked at her hands blood staining them "what if I attacked someone, why can't I remember". She looked up at Wednesday "I'll clean you up, and we can figure out what happened".

Erna sat alone for a few minutes until Wednesday walked back into the room with a wet cloth and bandages. Erna winced slightly when she wrapped the bandages around her back.

"That should do for now" Erna laughed lightly "I've never had to patch myself up before, it normally heals and just doesn't hurt".

Wednesday wiped the blood of Ernas hands carefully. She placed the cloth on her cheeks wiping the blood away. Erna smiled softly "thanks for helping me. Most people would've just left".

Erna pushed her hair behind her ear as she sat up from the bed "you may not care but I consider you a friend Wednesday. You can always count on me being here to help you".

Erna pushed a shirt over her body "I'll have the claw be tested, we will solve this". Erna smiled "that's the first time you said we, I thought you'd be Nancy Drew all by yourself".

"I prefer something more dark, whatever or whoever it is. They want us both dead". Erna looked at Wednesday "I won't let it hurt you, whatever it wants, I'll make sure it doesn't happen".

Wednesday blinked slightly "I'll handle it, I just need more evidence". Erna shock her head slightly "you're not gonna stop, you'll get killed if you go on about this by yourself".

Erna reached her hand forward "so I now declare we work together and solve this case together! What do you say, partners?".

Wednesday was silent for a moment before she grabbed Ernas hand. She didn't speak any words of agreement but she shock her hand.

Erna smiled "don't worry, I won't get into your personal space, I myself happen to hate hugs too". She let Wednesdays hand go as she sat back down on her bed "I'll go to the woods in the morning, see if I can find any clues on what happened tonight".

"Thing and I will go to the morgue" Erna couldn't believe everything that was happening. It was all going so fast, and she was terrified.

"I'll tell you if I find anything. Just don't mention this to Ajax, he'll freak out and I don't want him worrying about me. He needs a break from watching over me all the time".

    Her door burst open before she could even process it, her eyes burst open at the loud bang of it. Wednesday stood in front of her bed, holding onto a board of some sorts.

Erna sat up rubbing at her eyes "did you really have to burst in here so early?". She huffed as she pushed the blankets off her frame "I found something".

Erna looked at the girl "what did you find?" Wednesday flipped the board. Pictures of body parts and victims shown all over it.

"The monster has taken a body part from each victim" Erna stood up fully her eyes looking at the photos more closely. She looked away when her phone dinged loudly, she sighed.

"It's probably Ajax asking about the Rave'N! I swear I always tell him I don't wanna go but then he makes me go". Wednesday looked at the girl intensely her eyes stopping at her stomach.

She noticed the small patch of blood right away Erna winced slightly as she pushed her shirt upwards. Blood stained the bandage and her shirt "damn, it must've bleed through while I slept".

She pushed her shirt down "I can't exactly go to the nurses office and be like "I think I was attacked in the woods last night" they'll expel me for sure".

Erna sat down on her bed "aside from the body parts, did you manage to find anything else?". Wednesday sat down beside the girl "a possible suspect, I just need some evidence against them".

Erna hummed lightly as she pulled the bandage off her stomach. "Well whoever this mystery person is, just don't think too hard on it. If it actually happens to be them. Don't go for them alone".

Erna turned slightly "is it still there?" She lifted her shirt upwards her back aching. Wednesday touched the wound slightly "it's healed a little bit".

Erna sighed "at least it's healing, I would look absolutely ridiculous with a huge hole in my back at the Rave'N!, speaking of! are you going with anyone?". Wednesday huffed slightly "everyone's obsessed with the dance".

"Im assuming that's a no then, I don't blame you, it's normally just spiked punch and lame music. And this years theme is all white, gosh that's a disaster waiting to happen".

Erna tried her best to hide the sad smile that overcame her lips. She stood up off the bed "so what now? You gonna run off and find clues?".

"Actually I'm meeting with Eugene. Enid apparently doesn't like my murder board". Erna laughed "she totally fainted, gosh I wish you were my roommate sometimes".

Erna walked off towards her dresser "if you're gonna sneak off the school grounds. I'll cover for you, although just be careful". Wednesday walked out of the room and Erna sighed to herself as she opened her closet door.

She turned the light on the white dress neatly shown in her view. Beside it a beautiful black dress was placed in a box, hidden in the corner.

She picked it up sighing sadly as she placed the box onto her desk. At the sound of her phone dinging she closed the box and left her room.

     "I don't really feel like going to the Rave'N this year Ajax, I think I'll just stay". The boy looked at her "did you not ask Wednesday, we got her that dress remember. The one you saw".

Erna huffed slightly "she said she didn't wanna go at all. So I just assumed I shouldn't ask". She kicked at the ground "I didn't wanna embarrass myself any further Jax".

"You can just go with me! We can still have fun. Besides who cares if Wednesday Addams doesn't wanna go. She's just missing out".

Erna nodded "you're right, I just need to let loose and have some fun! I just need to get ready". Ajax smiled "awesome! I'll meet you here in an hour".

Erna ran down the hallway going towards her bedroom she walked inside her bedroom. "Oh Wednesday, what are you doing in here?".

"Me and Eugene found the monsters lair, we're gonna go stack it out. I need batteries for the flashlight". Erna walked towards closet yeah I have some you can use, just gotta find them".

She opened her closet grabbing hold of her dress "I would go with you two, but me and Ajax are actually gonna go to the Rave'N. If anything happens though, just have Eugene call".

She grabbed her old flashlight pulling the batteries out and handing them to Wednesday. "Good luck, something tells me you're gonna need it".

Erna waited until Wednesday left and neared her desk. She opened the box the dress still remaining inside, she sighed as she wrapped her fingers around it. She pulled it out of the box looking at it before she threw it into her trashcan.

She got dressed and left her room, she wouldn't let her night be ruined. She was going to have fun, Ajax would make sure of it.

She walked into the dance with Ajax beside her. "Tonight's all about us having fun, we're not gonna obsess over anything else besides that".

Ajax smiled "see you just need to forget about Wednesday, tonight's just about us! I'll go and get us some drinks".

Erna shock her head "no, I'll get them for us, least I can do since you're letting me come here with you". She walked off towards the drinks, grabbing hold of two of them. Her eyes locked on Wednesday the second she walked into the dance.

It was like the entire world got silent as she watched her walk in with Tyler. The dress she wore hugged her frame perfectly and although she didn't smile, she looked beautiful.

Erna tried her best to stay hidden when she noticed the girl walk towards the drinks. Erna didn't even notice the ones she once held were now shattered on the ground.

She paid no attention to Wednesday when the girl went to speak with her. She just walked away nearing Ajax in a fast motion.

Her eyes were dark as she looked at him "I don't wanna be here anymore, let's just go back and watch a movie or something".

"Erna remember why we're here, to have fun! Tonight's just about us. Nothing else and especially not Wednesday, let's just dance".

She nodded as she grabbed onto his hand tightly, she didn't pay any attention to Wednesday. The girl dancing briefly in the distance.

She just let herself melt away into the dance, but she felt the chilling sensation of something creeping upon her flesh. It made her tense up as she felt the warmth of something land on her shoulder.

She looked upwards the drops getting more intense let an intense rain. It slammed down onto her skin and dress, she paused her hands shaking.

She could heard the screams, and she felt everyone around her struggling to stand without slipping all over the place. She felt her eyes darkened as panic slipped into her body.

"Erna!" Wednesdays voice slammed into her eardrums, she ran her feet dragging beneath her as she just let herself enter the woods. She entered a clearing holding herself tightly.

She let out a heavy breath gasping when she heard a growl behind her. "Erna! Eugene!" Erna turned the monster hovering right above her.

She could see Eugene on the ground behind it, his eyes closed as blood stained his flesh. Erna moved back slowly as it's growl got louder.

"Erna!" her scream entered the air and Wednesday ran faster her eyes stopping on the body on the ground. "Eugene" she saw him first.

Then she heard the loudness of Erna screaming, she turned around seeing the girl get dragged. She ran fast grabbing hold of the girls hands.

"Wednesday!" she screamed her hands slipping out of Wednesdays grasp and then she just disappeared into the darkness. "Erna!" Everything turned silent, and Wednesday was utterly alone.
