Jake sniffled whilst walking down the hallways, his head down. People kept staring at him and it didn't help how he currently felt.

He likes Sunghoon so much, but he didn't know it could result to this.

"Hyung?"

Jake lifted his head and saw Niki, looking down again.

"Are you okay?" Niki asked, patting Jake's back as he walked beside him.

"I don't know, go ask the whole school."

Niki raised an eyebrow, looking around to see everyone whispering. Niki walked up to a group of girls recording, grabbing their phones and glaring.

"What's wrong with you?" Niki asked.

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with Jake? Can't believe someone as low as him can like someone as perfect as Sunghoon.." The girl chuckled as Niki gave the phone back harshly, dragging Jake to the rooftop to help him talk his feelings out.

Jake walked over to the edge as his hands gripped the chains. Anger mixed with sadness washed over his figure. It's as if he wants to jump off from there.

"Hyung? What happened?" Niki placed his hand on his friend's shoulder, willing to do or say anything to be of comfort.

"Will I die if I jump off here?" Niki's breath hitched, walking over beside Jake.

"Are you crazy?"

"Yeah, for liking Sunghoon.."

Niki tilted his head as Jake falls down on the groun from despair, sniffling his sadness.

"Hyung." Niki sighed and sat down beside Jake, looking up at the bright sky.

"Don't think like that, ever. Why would you be crazy for liking Sunghoon? It's completely fine to like a boy!"

"Yeah, I know..but he's way out of my league. He's athletic, handsome, tall, popular, friendly, fun, outgoing, no wonder people hate me, an outcast hanging out with someone as perfect as him.."

Jake poured out his feelings. He didn't feel like this before, but now that the backlash is happening, he started getting sensitive about hate. He wasn't brave, he can't handle things like these.

Niki noticed the disappointment showing on Jake's blank eyes, feeling his heart ache that his friend was feeling somewhat, guilt?

For what? Liking a guy? Liking someone who you think is better than you?

"Hyung, you're equally as amazing as Sunghoon hyung, you're both amazing! You think Sunghoon is better than you, but no one is perfect. Not me, not Sunoo, not even Sunghoon hyung. We all have flaws, Sunghoon hyung has his too. But that envious feeling shouldn't get the best of you. Why do you want to feel all this when you can feel happiness with Sunghoon hyung right now? Will you continue to live by people's judgements? Or ignore them and live how you want to? Do you want to live according to your insecurities for the rest of your breathing?"

Jake was all ears at what the younger was saying, feeling a bit of comfort. Maybe Niki was right, Jake thought. He wasn't sure, all he knows is that he wants to be with Sunghoon.

"I know it's not easy to ignore everyone's judgements, but once you try, you'll feel your confidence grow, and life will be much easier. Don't you think?" Niki tilted his head, smiling at his hyung.

Jake stared at Niki's shining orbs, feeling Niki's sincere aura.

"Sunoo's lucky."

Niki flickered his eyes from Jake's sudden sentence, looking up at the bright blue sky again.

"He's lucky to have you. You're so good at comforting, you're sincere, loving, cool, talented, outgoing, smart-"

"I don't know about smart." 

Jake chuckled at Niki's reply, both sharing a small laugh.

"You're a good guy, Niki." Jake turned his head at the younger, as Niki sighed with a smile on his face, standing up and lending a hand.

"Will you sit there and compliment me all day or go find Sunghoon hyung? Cause I can do both-"

"You're such a weirdo." Jake stood up and pushed Niki, making both chuckle as they head off the rooftop.

But Niki can't help but have doubts. This whole problem with Sunghoon and Jake, he fears it will be the same with Sunoo. You know, not being able to accept their feelings at one point. 

But he never wishes for that to happen. He wishes to love Sunoo dearly, and he wishes Sunoo does the same.

"Why-"

"Just shush."

Niki pushed Jake's body by his back, putting all his strength cause Jake sure was a strong guy who worked out a lot.

"Are you obducting me?" Jake mumbled as the younger laughed at hin.

The truth was, Heeseung planned something for Jake and Sunghoon, to help them make up or something, just a plan to make them pour their feelings out like a little confession.

"You will- love this surprise- God help me here!" Niki complained as Jake barely moved his own feet, groaning from having a hard time pushing the older.

"WHA-"

"Just shut up!"

Niki shot his head up, hearing Sunoo's irritated voice, smiling wide.

"Was that Sunoo?" Jake asked Niki, the younger's actions stopping as they reached the center of the field.

"And Sunghoon hyung." Niki pat Jake's back, as Sunghoon looked away as Sunoo dragged him in front of Jake.

"You look thin but you sure are heavy." Sunoo wiped the sweat on his forehead, winking at his Jake hyung. Niki quickly tilted his head, gesturing that it's time for him and Sunoo to go.

Sunoo waved one last time, walking away from Jake and Sunghoon and out of the field.

Niki placed his hands inside his pants' pockets, walking side by side with Sunoo, who was rolling his eyes around from awkwardness.

"So, how did it go with Jake hyung?" Sunoo himself broke the silence, as Niki turned his head to the older.

"Oh you know, good. He ranted about not feeling comfortable about the hate he was getting at school."

"Ahh,, It's good that he feels better now." Sunoo smiled from satisfactory, as Niki's eyes flickered from how beautiful Sunoo's side profile was.

C'mon, just ask him-

"Hey."

Sunoo turned his head at Niki once again, tilting it from confusion. It looked like he was going to ask something at that very second.

"Hm?" Sunoo hummed as a response, his footsteps stopped walking as Niki did same.

Niki's lips trembled, feeling bold at that minute, nervous and panicking at the same time.

"I like you." 

Niki spoke as Sunoo smiled and nodded.

"I know." Sunoo giggled.

"No, I mean.." Sunoo raised an eyebrow as Niki added a reply, his heart beating faster than usual, like always when he's with Niki.

"Like..I want to date you."

Sunoo knew that the younger liked him yet he was still surprised that it was romantic feelings, even though he himself felt the same way about the boy.

"Just- If you don't want to then-"

"N-no.."

Niki shot his head up as the older stuttered with very flushed cheeks visible.

"I-I like you too.."

It was Niki's first time hearing those words although it was obvious, a warm smile curving up his lips.

"R-Really?" Niki spoke like a flustered boy, like a little kid recieving his first girlfriend at the age of 8.

"Yeah." Sunoo showed his bright smile, warming up Niki's heart yet again as usual. 

Both didn't feel it, but it was like a string of love pulling them towards each other closer than ever. They saw warmth in each other's glistening eyes, sharing a quiet yet sweet scene under the sun setting orange like sky.

"S-So, is that a yes?" Niki jumped up and down like a baby, making Sunoo chuckle.

"Yes to what?" Sunoo teased as the younger whined from impatience.

"I-I guess.."

Niki's aura and mood lit up, pulling Sunoo in for a hug, a warm and filled with real and genuine love kind of embrace.

"You're mine now, got it, got it? I'll never flirt with anyone ever again, just you." Niki repeated his words, as Sunoo was laughing, slightly suffocated on Niki's chest.

"Yeah, yeah- but."

Niki looked down at Sunoo as he spoke.

"Can we uh..not tell everyone?"

"Even, the guys?"

Sunoo nodded.

"Why?"

"Cause, I-I'm just not that comfortable with it yet."

Niki's mouth went like an O shape, nodding his head whilst caressing Sunoo's hair.

"Sure." Was all he could say before they both smiled at each other one last time.

"I hope Jake and Sunghoon hyung are okay back there though."

"I'm sure their fine."

"PARK SUNGHOON!" 

Jake sucked his teeth, hissing at the younger and chasing him around the field with a stick in his hand. Sunghoon ran for his life, feared on why Jake was angry.

"ARE YOU GOING TO THROW THAT AT ME?!" Sunghoon scoffed mixed with a cute laugh.

"Jeez, I just want you to ask me out already.." Jake pouted, the stick falling off his own hand as Sunghoon laughed and walked over to the older and patted his small head.

"Sure, boyfriend~" 

Jake's head jolted up as Sunghoon smiled at him, embracing him.

"So, we're dating now?" Jake asked with excitement.

"I don't know, are we?" Sunghoon teased as Jake hissed at him, picking the stick up again and chasing him out of the campus.

Two couples sharing sweet scenes under the moonlight, one on the field and one on the campus' side walk. What unsatisfactory could ever happen? Who knows.

The future is filled with surprises.

Good, and bad.
