Fifteen: Prison Visits & Girls Night
Chapter Fifteen: Prison Visits & Girls Night
Jolene gave a curt nod to the guard as he finished patting her down. The brunette followed behind the tall, overly muscular guard as he led her towards the visiting area of Stockton Prison. Jolene gave him another nod before taking a seat at the small round metal table, a sigh left the doctors mouth as she waited for her father. Stockton Prison had become an unwelcome second home to Jolene, and a permanent home for her father. Otto Delaney had been in and out of prison most of Jolene's life and while the brunette was close with her father, the only time she saw him was inside these depressing gray walls.
"Joey, baby." Otto Delaney smiled as he approached the table, two large guards on either side of him. "How's my little girl?" He asked while sitting across from her, earning a look from one of the guards as he started to reach for Jolene's hand.
Jolene smiled fondly at the nickname. "I'm good dad." She said whole looking over him for any visible injuries. Jolene knew that SAMCRO kept him protected inside the prison, but the brunette still worried. It was moot asking how he was doing. The man was spending the rest of his life in prison and it broke Jolene's heart.
"How's my grandson?" Otto asked. He had never gotten the pleasure of meeting Mateo, and he never would. Otto refused to let Jolene bring the toddler to see him. He didn't want the little boy seeing him in this environment. Otto knew Jolene was fucked up from visiting him in prison when she was a little girl, even though she would never admit it, and he didn't want that for his grandson.
A sad smile took over Jolene's face. The sad, heartbreaking truth was that her father would never get to meet Mateo. Her son would never know his grandfather expect for in pictures and fond memories told to him. "He's really good. He's obsessed with dinosaurs and looks just like Happy." She said with a small laugh.
"You and Happy?" Otto asked, raising an eyebrow slightly. When he first heard about Happy and Jolene, to say Otto wanted to murder the Tacoma Killer would be an understatement. He didn't want that life for his daughter, but he soon realized in some fucked up way the two of them were perfect for each other. "How's that goin'?"
"It's not." Jolene stated. "He's in Mateo's life in his own fucked up way, and that's really all I care about." The brunette said as her mind wandered back to a few nights ago and the feeling of Happy's fingers on her skin.
"Times up!" A guard announced before Otto could speak again. "C'mon Delaney, let's go."
"I love you, Joey." Otto said as the two guards from earlier made their reappearance. He desperately wanted to hug her but he knew if he did that would earn him a beating, and Otto didn't want Jolene to witness that.
"I love you too, dad." Jolene sniffed as she held back the tears that wanted nothing more than to fall from her dark eyes. "I'll visit again soon." She told him as she forced her arms to stay down by her side. It had been years since Jolene had gotten to hug her father, and she wanted nothing more than to throw her arms around him and hold onto him forever.
Jolene watched as her father was escorted out of the visiting room, a few tears fell from her eyes before she hastily wiped them away. This wasn't the place for tears.

Jolene clinked her shot glass full of tequila against Camilla's and Lyla's, the three women each wore a grimace on their faces as they tossed the liquor down their throats. The brunette was in desperate need of a girls night in, and who better to do that with than Lyla and Camilla, and of course a bottle of tequila.
"Now I remember why I hate tequila." Jolene groaned as she watched Camilla refill the empty shot glasses.
"It's not that bad." Camilla said with a shrug as the three women threw more alcohol down their throats. "Shit." Camilla cursed as she placed her empty shot glass on the table.
"Still not that bad?" Lyla teased with a smile.
Jolene let out a laugh as Camilla stuck a middle finger up at the blonde. "So is Juice still trying to get into your pants, Cam?" The doctor asked, noticing Lyla smirking at Jolene's question and Camilla's cheeks turn a light shade of pink.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Camilla denied while taking another shot. The nurse was attracted to the mohawk sporting, kutte wearing biker she had come to know as Juice, but Camilla wasn't sure if she wanted anything besides a little harmless flirting to happen between them. "It's too quiet in here." She said suddenly while jumping up from the couch. "We need music."
Carly Simon's voice suddenly took over the room. Jolene looked over at Lyla with a smile before the blonde and brunette began singing 'You're So Vain' at the top of their lungs. A wide smile took over Jolene's face as Camilla rejoined them and began singing along with them. This was exactly the type of night Jolene needed, but in the back of the doctors mind she couldn't help but feel like this was just the calm before the storm.

(A/N: I'm so sorry it took me a bit to update! The holidays and work were crazy, but I hope everyone had a good New Year! Thank you all for the votes/ views! This chapter is kinda eh in my opinion it's just a filler, because drama is about to go down in the next few chapters.)
