         walker stood there behind her door with flowers and a note in the flowers. he was planning to surprise her when she came back from cari's house.

gracie stood behind her, recording, while following her.  vera thought it was a bit suspicious, but followed along with it.

she opened the door looking around her room. she started walking into the room before someone wrapped their arms around her.

"surprise!" he said with a laugh, some of the petals falling off, but she could care less in that moment.

"walker?" she asked with a grin. walker brung the flowers up to her nose so she could inhale them. no doubt they were very great, and they were her favorite flower. the boy did his reseatch, that's right.

audrey stood beside gracie watching them. she shook her head for a second before sighing. "young love."

gracie stopped recording, bringing her phone down. "little do they know im writing something about them." gracie says quietly to audrey. audrey laughed.

the two soon walked out, closing the door in the process. "wow, it's-it's you!" vera said, holding his arms once she was facing him.

"yup i am real, surprisingly." he said sarcastically with a smile towards her. a cheeky one to be exact. one that was used often towards her.

"pinch me please!" she said with a laugh, looking up at him. he rolled his eyes pretending to be annoyed before doing so.

"did so."

"fine. but you have to stay with me forever and always i fear."

"fine."

they watched each other for a second, studying their faces. they hadn't seen each other for a while so it was an understandable thing to do.

their smiles still clear on their face.  "right." vera said with with her head tilted. walker looked at her differently. like he never had before.

vera noticed but didn't day anything. she didn't wanna ruin the moment she supposed.  walker leaned in slightly, making both of their heartbeats repeat more faster quickly.

her breath hitched as he got closer. her heart didn't stop beating at all, it just thumped against her chest rapidly.

suddenly, his lips were on his. her vanilla chapstick went to his. it was quick and sweet but speaked a thousand words.

"that just happened." vera said, her heart still beating as walker stepped back slightly. he put his lips in a shy smile.

"yup, i guess it really did." he said awkwardly. they were the bestest of friends and now they were gonna be more- how is she supposed to tell her friends without them teasing her?

"i liked it."

"you did?"

"of course! who wouldn't?"

walker looked down with a smile. he nodded as he let out an exhale. "good. thought you would like.. kill me for a second."

"don't give me suggestions." she said with a laugh taking the flowers from out of his hand gently. walker watched her hand carefully as she did.
