As Donghyuck's washing the dishes, Renjun walks to the sofa and sits with his brown teddy bear. He picks up the remote control and turns on the TV, immediately greeted by a cartoon. He happily flails his feet as he sits properly while still hugging his stuffed toy.

"Daddy, Spongebob is playing on the TV!" he happily exclaims.

"Enjoy, baby!" Donghyuck answers, now rinsing the dishes.

When Donghyuck finishes, he exits the kitchen to go to the living room to check up on his little boyfriend. He smiles when he sees him sleeping so cutely on the sofa, hugging his teddy bear.

He walks towards him and gently sits on the sofa to not wake the older. He stares at him and slowly brings his fingers to the little's face. He gently carresses his cheeks, softly pokes his nose and traces his plump lips.

"Pretty." He mutters. "I like spending time with Injunnie, but I miss Renjun." he says, leaning forward to give the little a short kiss on the forehead. "I really miss you, Renjun. It's been a month, this is probably the longest time you've shifted. But it's okay to take your time, I'm always here for you. I love you, love."

"Daddy? Why are you crying?"

He didn't realize that he's crying until little Renjun pointed out. Oh, he's awake. He wipes his tears off and shakes his head. "I'm just happy."

"Why were you crying, then? You're supposed to smile or laugh because you're happy, right?"

Donghyuck chuckles and ruffles the little's hair. "You're so cute." He gestures him to get up to which Renjun immediately obeys. Instead of answering the questions, he replies with a question too. "How's your nap, baby? Sorry for waking you up."

Renjun grins, "Good. And don't worry about it, Daddy." he smiles. "Uhm, can I have some milk, please, Daddy?"

Donghyuck nods, smiling a bit, "Of course. Where's your bottle?"

Renjun grabs his bottle from the center table and cutely hands it to his caregiver. "Here!"

The latter takes the bottle and pats the little's head gently. "Wait for me here, okay?" Renjun only nods and lays himself on the sofa once again.

Donghyuck gets off the sofa with Renjun's bottle to get him a warm milk from the kitchen. He goes back to the living room and sees Renjun giving him a grabby hands.

He coos before sitting next to him. "Here you go, baby."

"Yey! Thank you, Daddy! You're the best." Renjun takes the bottle in both of his hands, so cutely that Donghyuck feels like dying inside, before sipping on his milk.

"You're welcome, baby."

"Daddy, I'm hungry!" Renjun walks into the kitchen, pouting, holding his teddy bear by its arm. "I'm hungry, Daddy!"

Donghyuck sighs and turns to him, "Injunnie, be patient, okay? I'm almost finished."

Renjun pouts more, walking closer to his caregiver. He puts his chin on his shoulder to see what he's cooking. "Is that bacon?"

"Yes."

He grins and squeaks, "That's yummy! I'm becoming more hungry."

"Hm, I'm almost done, baby. Why don't you go sit at the dining room already and wait for me there, sounds good?"

He nods, "Okay, Daddy! Hurry up, please."

Donghyuck chuckles and turns around to give the little a short kiss on the cheek. "I will." Renjun kisses him back on the cheek before exiting the kitchen.

Renjun goes to the dining room and sits on his usual seat, with his teddy bear on his lap. He puffs his cheeks and blows out air. "So hungry..."

Later on, Donghyuck comes out of the kitchen with a plate of bacons on his right hand and a big bowl of rice on his left hand. Renjun notices him in his peripheral view so he immediately turns to him.

"Daddy! Daddy, let me help."

"No, no, I'm alright."

Donghyuck smiles and puts the plate and bowl on the table at the same time. He then goes back to the kitchen to get himself a set of plate, spoon and fork and of course Renjun's moomin set.

"Daddy, I have question." He hums as a respond to Renjun while putting rice and dish on his moomin plate. "How old are you?"

"I'm twenty-one."

"Wow!"

He sits on the chair next to the little and ruffles his hair gently. "Eat now, Injunnie."

Renjun nods and grins before turning to his plate. He claps his hands and says, "I will eat well, Daddy." then he grabs the spoon and fork to feed himself.

"Good boy, Injunnie!" Donghyuck giggles before turning to his plate and starts to give himself some rice and dish.

Renjun excitedly sits on the bed, flailing his hands around. Donghyuck chuckles as he walks to their closet to get Renjun some night clothes.

"Daddy," the little calls and Donghyuck just hums, "when I grow up, I want to be an astronaut or space explorer. I wanna explore the outer space and maybe see other galaxies. Or better, I might meet an alien." he randomly says, voice tone full of enthusiasm.

Donghyuck stops and turns to Renjun. He presses his lips together then smiles slightly, preventing himself to cry. Renjun, the adult Renjun, likes talking about space and other celestial bodies, and even aliens and mythical creatures. Hearing little Renjun talking about wanting to be an astronaut because he wants to explore the galaxies makes him want to hug him so tightly.

"That's a great ambition, baby." he says. "How about being an artist? You're good at drawing." Adult Renjun is both a traditional and a digital artist.

"I am?" Renjun asks, eyes so big, so innocent.

"Of course, you are."

Donghyuck turns around to the closet and sighs heavily. He continues to rummage until he finds some clothes he wants Renjun to wear to sleep.

He walks towards him and gestures him to stand up. Renjun immediately stands up, head tilting to the side and staring at him.

"Injunnie, why?" Donghyuck asks.

Renjun straighten his head, "What's your ambition, Daddy?"

"My ambition?" Donghyuck pauses. He doesn't even know, to be honest. "I don't have an ambition. But I have a goal and that's to provide you a proper home, not this small apartment."

"I'm fine with our current home. I'm fine with just you by my side." Renjun smiles.

After he puts the shirt onto the little, Donghyuck then takes the shorts and undergarment next, in just one move. He puts the new undergarment and shorts on Renjun.

Renjun giggles and suddenly hugs his caregiver. "Thank you, Daddy. Can we cuddle, please?"

"Of course."

They both lie on the bed with Renjun's head on Donghyuck's biceps. The little turns to hug his daddy and the latter hugs him back.

"Daddy, don't leave me again, okay?"

"I won't." He brushes his fingers through the little's hair. "Good night, baby."

Renjun buries his face on Donghyuck's chest and closes his eyes. "Good night, Daddy. Sweet dreams."

The latter smiles and presses a soft kiss on the little's forehead before closing his eyes and joining his baby to his dreamland.

Donghyuck hums and slowly opens his eyes and the first thing he sees is Renjun's pretty face as he's smiling at him. He smiles back and rubs his eyes gently. "Good morning, Injunnie."

"It's Renjun. Good morning, love."

He widen his eyes and his mouth ajar. "Renjun-ah? Y-you're back!"

"I am." Renjun giggles. "I miss you!"

"I miss you too, so much!" Donghyuck hugs him tightly.

"Thank you for taking care of Injunnie. I hope he's been a good boy." Renjun laughs softly as he hugs the younger back.

"Of course, he's always been a good boy. And I'm so glad you're back, love." They both pull apart from the hug and smile at each other.

Renjun hums. "My head hurts so bad."

"Aww!" Donghyuck coos. "Let's stay in bed for a while. I wanna cuddle you, I fucking missed you so so much, you don't even know how much."

The older laughs and nods, "Of course, love!"

"Can I kiss you too?" Donghyuck pouts.

Renjun smirks slightly, "I bet you've been wanting to kiss me while I was in my little space, huh? That's bad!"

"Hey! I mean, I'll only do it with your permission, of course."

"Fine, you can kiss me now." The older smiles.

Without hesitation, Donghyuck presses a short kiss on Renjun's soft and plump ones. "I miss this too, you know." he says as he pulls away.

Renjun kisses his boyfriend's lips back. "I miss you too. Now, let's cuddle and go back to sleep."

"Yey!" Donghyuck immediately wraps his arm around his boyfriend's tiny waist. "I love you."

Renjun giggles as he hugs him back. "I love you too, so much."
