Days passed, and in between travelling, you got a pretty good view of the world below you while sitting on Kirishima's back. Throughout the day, it was beautiful flying in the clouds and not once did you let go of Bakugou's shoulders. Occasionally, your hands are around his waist, and that's when the wind is strong. He always warns you beforehand by patting the back of your hand. Sometimes you never moved once the wind died down, not that he minded—blaming it on Kirishima's poor flying. However, looking down on the fields of green, majestic mountain tops, well-built cities, and small communities would disappear once you met the crystal waters of the southern ocean. Filling your stomach with excitement, your smile never withered away. You'd often point out the numerous sea creatures jumping out of the water.

You're thrilled about seeing Bakugou's kingdom. Listening to Izuku's stories from when he was little had you imagining yourself standing on top of the giant mountains situated there or riding the backs of other dragons. Kirishima mentioned that the land is an island surrounded by molten rock and lava, where most dragons are raised in the fires. Its ash-spewing volcanos house their dragon legion and grand tournaments of strength. The people as well—many tribes combined to form the nation to keep dragons safe and sound. Bakugou's family has been ruling over the dragon kingdom for centuries, protecting the dragons from poachers.

Suddenly the sky grew dark as Kirishima approached a wall of ash. You looked over Bakugou's shoulder, seeing Kirishima closing the distance. You've assumed that it was a storm, hiding your face in the fur of Bakugou's cape. The air would be replaced with a thick stench of fire and smoke, irritating your senses. It's a strange and heavy sensation passing through your body. The air is hot and humid, causing you to sweat almost instantly.

Taking in deep breaths, you slowly lift your head off of Bakugou's shoulder as you feel the fog's grip slipping away. Gasping, your eyes met wonders. Just like the others described it, all you saw were lava rivers meeting a giant pool of magma. Tall mountains surrounded the place like a bowl, and in the middle was the dragon kingdom standing on a wide colossal stone pillar. Appearing bigger than you envisioned, there's a castle and an arena. There are floating islands above the city that serve as dragon nests. How they remained in the air is thanks to overwhelming magic power flowing from dragon stone. Another fact shared with you by Kirishima.

You chortle in amazement. Bakugou looked over his shoulder as your eyes observed his home in awe. One of your hands left his shoulder to try to catch the ash raining down like snowflakes, whispering beneath your breath. "...Beautiful,"

Far off, you hear the roars and growls of passing dragons. Some you can see, and some you can't. All the dragons in your sights ranged from different sizes to different colours. A few carried riders on their backs.  You complimented, "This place is amazing,"

"Land at the back of the palace, Kirishima!" Bakugou ordered, patting between the dragon's horns. Kirishima let out a sound, flapping his wings a little hard to gain speed. Gliding towards the palace, you witness the lively people carrying on with their lives. None looked up at the skies nor noticed their runaway king had returned home.

"Wait. No one knows about you're home?" You've asked.

"I have a lot of work to do before I let my people know I'm home, but I doubt it will happen because of her-" Bakugou explained, rolling his eyes at the thought of the woman in his thoughts.

"Her?" You repeated with a questioning look.

"You'll see later," Bakugou tells you, gripping the handles of his saddle. Kirishima nears the castle, circling the large structure, and when the garden came into his view, he slowed down. The courtyard appeared as a garden.

There's a large water fountain and several dragon statues. Kirishima lowered onto the grass, and at that moment, a few figures appeared out of the large palace's doors. One is Izuku, accompanied by a short brown haired girl and a tall blue-haired boy. Three more people followed beside them, seeming happy. A blond-haired boy, a pink-haired and skinned girl with strange looking eyes, and a black-haired boy.

"Bakugou! You're home!" Screamed the two boys, crashing into the blonde for a bone-crushing hug. Bakugou growls, demanding the boys to release him immediately. However, the order is ignored. Kirishima drops his head closer to the ground, helping you slip off easily. Thanking Kirishima, you turned to see Izuku running towards you.

"Ei! You're back!" The pink-haired girl is in joy, hugging Kirishima's snout. The dragon purred, nuzzling against the girl's face.

"Zuku!" You shouted, opening your arms instantly.

"Princess!" Izuku called out in a cheerful tone. His two friends stayed behind as you and Izuku collided in a tight embrace. He sighed in relief, seeing Bakugou alive and well. You smiled warmly, rubbing your hand up and down his back.

You parted, asking. "How are you here?"

"Kirishima found us in Musutafu saying that Kacchan was returning home, and then he went on to explain that something needed to be done. Also, there are general Hawks we need to worry about because we don't know if he'll try to find you again, so now I'm a little worried...Kirishima left us at a rendezvous point, and that's when another dragon appeared and brought me her-"

"Izuku...you're rambling again," You cut him off, holding him firmly by his shoulders.

"Oh sorry, your highness," He spoke abruptly before he clears his throat. "Kacchan thought it'd be best if he brought you here in case Hawks came back and since I was there to protect you makes me a target as well,"

"King Enji is growing desperate every day," You breathed out, rubbing your face. "We need to come up with a plan,"

Izuku bowed his head, shamefully and then looked over at his friends, gesturing to them. You meet their face when he introduces them. "Your highness, these are my friends, Tenya Iida and Ochaco Uraraka. Guys meet Princess Y/n,"

The two bowed, greeting you in unison. "It's nice to meet you, your highness,"

"It's nice to meet you as well. Any friend of Izuku is a friend of mine, so please no formalities. Call me Y/n," You declared, sending the two a smile.

"You two show some respect and introduce yourselves!" Bakugou barked, standing over the two boys who tackled him before. His gaze switches to the girl still clinging to Kirishima's snout. "You too, racoon eyes!"

In seconds the three were in front of you on their knees, heads touching the ground. They tried to say their names in a disordered manner, which led to unnecessary bickers. You understood loud and clear that their fear of Bakugou loomed over them like an unwanted shadow. A presence they didn't miss all that much, and those eyes of his were as sharp as ever.

"I-i'm Denki Kaminari, your highness!" Said the blonde.

"I'm Hanta Sero, your majesty!" Said the black haired boy.

"And I'm Mina Ashido, your grace!" Said the pink girl.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, your grace!" The three shout at the top of their lungs. You exchanged glances with Bakugou who continued to stare his friends down like a hawk.

You awkwardly plead. "Likewise, you three, but please, there's no need for formalities,"

"Where's the old hag?" Asked Bakugou, crossing his arms.

"She's in the throne room looking for the high priest," Mina directs him by pointing a finger at the large doors, leading inside the palace. Bakugou nods his head, releasing a long breath and the scar on his back stings amid his thoughts. Turning on his heel, he extends a hand out for you to take.

"You come with me too, princess," He suggests, still offering his hand. "-my mother would love to meet the girl who saved my ass from fucking death,"

Looking down at his hand, you graciously accept it and smiled. "Lead the way,"
