Corey would say parties are lame. That if you can't get wasted there's no point in going, yet for once in his life. He was completely sober, a cigarette dangling out the corner of his lips, the smoke coating the air.

He walked towards the frat house with slow steps, hearing the distant sounds of teenagers partying and drinking. All things he wished he could do, but he wasn't here for drinking or partying.

He knew Mickey would show up, it wasn't hard to guess the boy would slip through the crowds and slice open anyone he could. Corey stayed near the big windows, sitting along the ledge as he pushed it open.

He could see Hallie beside Sidney near the table full of cheap alcohol and stale chips. Both were laughing as they held onto red solo cups. Derek awkwardly stood beside them, looking down at his cup.

He wasn't fond of alcohol. It wasn't hard to miss, the boy practically threw the cup away when he found a trash can. Corey blew smoke out of his lips, watching it cost the screen of the window.

"Those things will get you killed" he turned his eyebrows rising in surprise "Randy, I thought you were still in the hospital". He stood up hugging the boy letting out a light chuckle.

Randy smiled "I got out early, there's no way I'm missing the biggest party of the year, how are you? I feel like we haven't seen each other in months".

Corey smiled "just trying to survive college, honestly after this year I might drop out. It just isn't for me". Randy patted Corey's shoulder "hey, we could totally ditch it in general, stake out an apartment for us".

Corey chuckled "oh yeah, I see you remember our little talk about moving in together after high school. I'd be down, I don't really see myself living alone".

Randy sighed "especially... with ghostface running around". Corey grew tense at the sight of Mickey slipping into the house, their eyes meant for a second.

Corey looked away "hopefully it dies down soon" he wished he did drink, he was way too sober for this shit. Randy looked around the party and he grinned "I see Hallies checking you out, that girl is perfect for you".

Corey smiled and Randy chuckled as he grabbed his shoulders "you're totally whipped for this girl man! Look at you, all red and flustered".

Corey laughed as he looked at Randy "oh come on dude, she'd never go for someone like me, at least not past college, she'd totally dump my ass".

Corey grabbed a cup from a boy that was passing by, he downed it with one gulp. Randy patted Corey's chest "there's the Corey I know well, I'm gonna talk with Sid, I'll see you around".

Corey nodded as Randy walked off, Corey inhaled sharply as he walked towards Mickey. The boy was gloating in the corner, holding onto a beer.

"What's your costume supposed to be? A loner?" Mickey rolled his eyes at Corey's comment. "I guess you went with the Star Wars costume after all, you never listen do you?". Corey huffed "I didn't come with Hallie if that's what you're whining about, you need to loosen up for once in your life".

Mickey huffed "I'll loosen up when you stop pissing me off, you may think you're safe, but you aren't, I could slit your throat so fast I'd never get caught",

Corey laughed, the sound of it made Mickey tense up as the boy patted his shoulder "whatever helps you man, seriously that was a good one. Gosh I'm getting a drink, your fucking hilarious Mic".

He walked off towards the table grabbing a bottle of vodka. Hallie stood across from him "Corey... can we talk? This is like really important",

She whispered it as he poured the vodka into his cup, he looked at her slightly. "What's wrong?" he looked worried as he leaned towards her.

She sighed, she looked like she wanted to cry "can you please just talk to me somewhere quiet". He didn't care if Mickey saw him, he set his cup down as he walked towards Hallie.

She looked miserable as he rested his hand on her shoulder in comfort. His eyes bright as he looked down at her with concern. "Come on, we can find a room and talk" he grabbed a hold of her hand.

She trailed behind him as they walked up the steps, she sighed "you think Mickey saw us?". Corey walked down the hallway "it's likely, he's been eye stalking me since he got here, he's planning something, I have no idea what... but it's no good".

He pushed open a door and let out a breath of relief when he saw no one was inside. Hallie sat down on the bed when he pushed the door shut and locked it.

He sat down beside her "alright, you gonna tell me what's bothering you so much Hal? I'm here". Hallie burst into tears, she covered her face with her hands.

Corey hugged her "hey, it's okay Hal, you can tell me" she sniffled as she looked at him. He held onto her hand as her lip quivered "I'm pregnant".

His eyes widened slightly "pregnant... am I..." she nodded as she wiped her eyes with her sleeve "I didn't think anything of it at first, and then I missed my period. I thought maybe it was stress or something, but I took a test, and it was positive".

Corey leaned back slightly as he ran his hand through his hair "are you okay? I mean... shit I'm sorry" he bit his lip nervously "I can help, I'll do whatever you want me to do, are you feeling okay?".

Hallie chuckled slightly "of course you're worried about me, I'm okay... just confused I guess. I have no idea what I'm gonna do. Promise me regardless of what I pick, you won't be upset?".

Corey stood up "I won't be upset, it's your body Hallie, if you want to have the baby, I can help raise it, seriously I'll drop out of college, I can get a job".

Hallie stood up "no I can't ask that of you, you'd be giving up your life because of a baby, because of me". Corey let out a shaky breath "I can do it Hal, if it means I can be with you, help you raise our kid".

She smiled "you're so sweet" she hugged him tightly, he let out a heavy breath "I'll keep you safe, both of you, I'm not letting Mickey touch you".

At the sound of loud shouting and laughing below them Corey frowned deeply "what the fuck is that about?". Hallie shrugged "beats me, let's go see".

He walked out of the room hearing the laughing getting louder, he walked down the hallway. He grew tense at the sight of Mickey standing on a table, his hands in the air as he spoke loudly.

"He's been fucking her in the bathroom hall! I mean shit I thought Corey Becker was a good guy, but he's out here having sex with a slut...".

Corey sneered angrily. Hallie tugged at his arm but he kept walking. Mickey laughed along with the crowd as he took a swig of his beer "and get this! He knocked the bitch up! Wouldn't be surprised if she ended up dead because of his reputation with ghostface! He got his sister killed! Got half of his friends killed because he's a moron.. whose to say he won't get this chick and his kid killed, he's a fucking.."

Mickey didn't get to finish his sentence as Corey punched him, the crowd chanted loudly. Corey couldn't focus on anything, he felt Mickey's skin breaking under his knuckles.

He felt his body shutting down as he pushed Mickey into the ground. His hand burned as he kept hitting Mickey, he could feel the blood coating his fingers.

Hear the way Mickey laughed as he took every single hit. His ears ring loudly as he heard people to call the police, while others watched in shock.

Corey inhaled so much air when he was pulled back, his body aching as blood dripped down the cracks of his fingers. He could hear the whispers, the way people looked at him with such fear and disgust.

He looked down at Mickey, the boy letting out light breaths as blood ran down his face. He could see the smirk on the boy's face as he rolled to his side.

Corey realized at that moment what Mickey had planned. He didn't flinch when the handcuffs were placed on his wrists, he saw the disappointment on Dewey's face as he walked outside.

Corey let out a shaky breath as he looked at Dewey "I'm sorry, I don't know what happened. I just got so angry... is he gonna be okay?".

Dewey sighed "I know kid, you should be lucky you didn't kill that boy, he's alive but barely". Corey looked at Hallie when she walked outside, Sidney stood beside her. Both of them looked saddened.

"Dewey, promise me you'll protect them. I can't keep them safe if I'm stuck behind bars all night, I got a feeling something bad will happen with me gone".

Dewey pushed open the door of the police cruiser "I'll try my best, I shouldn't even be here, I'm supposed to be resting. But I told the chief I'd handle this".

Corey sighed as he got into the back of the car "I know Dewey, but you can't rest till ghostface is dead, none of us can rest until this is over".

Dewey smiled sadly as he pushed the car door shut, Corey looked outside the window. He should've just killed Mickey, at least this would all be over.

authors notes:
Corey is once again proving why he's on top. This chapter was pretty basic but it was fun to write. Honestly I'm tempted to make a winter era of this act, like tell me ghostface and Christmas isn't just beautiful, like that would be epic, mickeys ass would just be running through some snow. I like the idea of Mickey dragging this for as long as possible just to mess with Corey, nothing says Merry Christmas like a knife in your back. It'd be epic to see Corey fighting for his life during Christmas season. Also idc Hallie and Corey are on top... don't worry Roman will be endgame but still, Hallie and Corey as of this moment are power couple.
