the next day all mina could do was smile. she shouldn't feel like this for him of all people, but she couldn't help it. it just clicked.

as if things couldn't get any worse, the doorbell ringed. she groans before jogging to get it.

mina opened the door, opening it to see sabrina there. "brina- what are you doing here?" she asked, but letting sabrina in.

"what, you not happy to see me?" she teased lightly with a grin. mina chuckles before getting back to her question.

"why are you here?" mina repeated, wanting sabrina to answer. sabrina pretended to think for a second.

"to make out with your brother. what do you think I'm here to do?" she exclaimed, making joshua step out of his room.

mina puffed out her cheeks as her best friend and her brother practically were checking each other out.

"she was here to hang out with me, not you." mina then says to break up the tension that was building up. she then grabs sabrinas wrist, already on her way to her room.

"really? cause I heard the words make, out, and brother." joshua says putting one of his hands through his hair.

"we could if you want to." sabrina mumbles, before clearing her throat. mina glares at her with a look.

"she's joking. now let's get going, brina." mina says with a scoff and a funny look to her brother.

once they got to minas room, mina almost immediately sat sabrina down on the bed. "why are you flirting with him- out of all the guys in your life?"

"probably because he's the hottest." she says honestly, shrugging her shoulders with a satisfied look on her face.

mina groans, making sabrina grab her wrists to look at her. "what's going on with you and aryan? I saw that instagram post."

the younger girl hummed. "nothing! we're- we're just friends." she says not very convincingly. sabrina tilted her head a little, not buying it.

"mhm. also I brought some candy!" sabrina says our of no where, grabbing sweet tart ropes and blue raspberry sour patch kids that were set down on minas bedside table.

mina grabbed the blue raspberry sour patch kids from her hands almost immediately. sabrina laughed, already opening her package.

"get me a signed short n sweet vinyl, and maybe I'll tell you the truth." mina said putting a sour patch kid in her mouth.

"oh no, you ate the child. you cannibal!" sabrina says while giggling, making mina laugh as well.

the girls rambled on and on about what happened in their life until they fell asleep. mina was the last one up, and decided to post a little story, cause why not?
