"i can't believe you're doing this," meiling groaned as the first frame of a scene the movie "villainous crush" was displayed on a large projector. the group were in a movie theater and had already reacted to mingyu and wonwoo's bittersweet. apparently they had to embarrass not just minwon, but her too.

villainous crush was definitely her most famous role. it was the most explicit movie out of all the movies she's starred in. she wasn't particular excited to watch the other's reactions. but then again, it would be funny.

she already knew which scene would play by the first frame. it was probably one of her most famous ones, nicknamed "they key scene." she wanted to curl up in a ball just at the thought of rewatching it.

the members ooh-ed as the camera panned to seventeen year old meiling, playing wu dalei, chained up to a chair. she had makeup to make her look like she was beat up, badly. in the background, the footsteps of liu haoyu, the male lead, were heard.

she knew what was about to happen, and god, she didn't want the members to see. she had never been so embarrassed about something that hadn't even happened yet before.

"unchain me, liu," she spoke as daiyu. seungkwan immediately turned to her, laughing. "it's so funny to watch you act like you're cool." she shoved the back of his head since she was sitting behind him, "shut up. it's called acting, you idiot."

"hmm, i don't think i will," haoyu spoke as he played with the keys. "don't make me beg," she warned. he could only laugh, "i made you beg three nights ago, though?"

meiling turned tomato red as she felt all the members stare at her. they burst into laughter, and she eventually joined in. she thought they would end the scene there, but of course, they didn't. pledis wanted to show probably the most embarrassing performance of her career.

daiyu turned her head to the side with a scoff. "just, give me the key." haoyu got dangerously close to her face, dangling the key in front of her. "what's the magic word?" she groaned, "please?"

"this is accurate because noona has no manners in real life," dokyeom stated. mingyu laughed loudly at that, hitting meiling multiple times in the process. she  could only roll her eyes and shake her head. they had no idea what they were in for next.

"good girl."

she cringed so hard her body actually curled up in itself. she had never heard wonwoo laugh louder, vernon was almost in tears, and jeonghan fell out of his seat. "oh my god!" jun basically screamed.

the worst part was the fact that the scene wasn't even over.

haoyu put the key in his mouth, leaning down to capture daiyu's lips. as they kissed, daiyu felt something metal in her mouth. haoyu pulled away, ruffling her hair and walking out of the warehouse he brought daiyu to. she twirled the metal in her mouth to examine it.

it was the key.

"that was definitely not sanitary," joshua spoke after the room was overcome with silence. meiling had her head in her hands as she felt seungcheol tense next to her.

dino's loud laughter let the tension in the air dissipate. "that was," he paused to breathe after laughing for so long, "the most awkward thing i've ever done!"

hoshi acknowledged his words with an even louder laugh, "i felt like i was watching my older sister make out with a guy." "woah," she interrupted. "that's just gross!"

"you were the one nanking out with a guy and then a key!" she glared at him, "you would do it to for a paycheck!"

as the laughter died down, jihoon noticed something. "coups hyung, you're awfully quiet." the man in question laughed, "so what?"

"i think you're jealous," he stated nonchalantly. seungcheol immediately went to defend his honor, "i'm not jealous! why would i be jealous? haoyu's so weird!"

"he's definitely jealous," mingyu egged him on.  "yeah! look, his jaw is so tense. so are his shoulders!" jeonghan added.

seungcheol suddenly became hyper aware of everything they were pointing out. he relaxed both his jaw and shoulders, smirking ever so slightly.

"don't be jealous, seungcheol. i don't make out with keys anymore," she attempted to reassure him. he waved her off with a guilty smile before dokyeom interrupted.

"you made out with a key more than once?!"

seungcheol watched from bed as meiling completely her skincare routine in the bathroom. he was sat up against the headboard, a frown overtaking his pretty face.

meiling finished and sat next to him, leaning on his shoulder. "why are you sulking?" she cooed. he leaned his head on top of hers with a sigh, "it's dumb."

"no it's not," she whispered, looking up at him to the best of her ability ( though she couldn't really see much ). he sent a soft smile her way, knowing she wouldn't see it.

"you don't really love that haoyu guy, right?" she stifled a laugh, trying not to be a bad person. "of course, baobei. it's just acting."

he frowned deeper, "but you called me seungcheol during filming instead of any cute nicknames." she struggled more to hold in her laugh. she wasn't laughing to ridicule him, she just found him adorable.

"i thought it was weird to call you petnames in front to everyone. but if that's what you want, i'll do it. i don't mind," she spoke, moving her head from his shoulder to his lap. his hands instinctively moved to play with her hair.

"no, it's fine. i think i'm just overreacting." at this, she frowned. "it's okay to be jealous, cheolie. you're not overreacting. i would've done something much worse if it was you acting."

he laughed for the first time in a few hours during that day at that. "i wanted to punch him so bad! like, why are you making out with my girlfriend?"

"i didn't even know you then," she teased. he rolled his eyes, cupping her cheeks with his hands. he leaned down to give her a soft kiss on her forehead. "you're so lucky i love you."

she couldn't hold her smile, "i love you too."
