THIRD PERSON
FLUFF/CRACK
FEBRUARY 11, 2023
the room was filled with many people, many idols and fans. the six member group was at an award show, one sakura honestly had no idea of. it wasn't the golden disc, the circle chart, or even mama. therefore, she didn't care too much.
despite the condensed room, it honestly felt like it was just their group. well really, just her and yeonjun. they weren't being particularly bad, but they weren't being very good.
it's not like it was their fault the award show was so boring. okay, maybe it was their fault that they weren't paying attention. but the temptation to fool around was just too much, they just had to!
it didn't start that bad, they were only flipping water bottles. "i bet you i can flip five water bottles in a row," the eldest provoked. she smirked, "i bet you i can do ten."
after every successful flip, the two erupted into cheers. they weren't disturbing any speeches, rather just adding to the already cheering fans. it wasn't like anyone else was paying attention to them either, they were all focused on monsta x performing 'beautiful liar.'
yeonjun had landed his five already, now it was her turn to prove him incorrect. as she landed the first three, she realized fans were now cheering for her. she turned to them and tried telling them indirectly to quiet down. that only made them scream louder.
"you're just making it worse~" yeonjun teased, and she laughed. "shut up!" she could only respond, before continuing her attempt at beating the boy.
to put it simply, she definitely lost. sakura missed her fifth flip, and she banged the table in false anger. everyone just laughed at her antics, something she would normally want.
but not this time, it was not in her interest at all to cause a ruckus. she didn't want to get herself or the members in trouble, but it wasn't necessarily her fault everyone was super loud.....
but she definitely made it worse. the eldest challenged her to another game, truth or dare. she wasn't a daredevil, but when someone dared her to do something she would do it. maybe with hesitation, but she would do it. for her pride.
after a few times of only answering truths, the two made an agreement to do at least a few dares. "what dare should i give you, sakura?" he thought aloud, before whispering in her ear.
"i dare you to say something scandalous to tyun- nothing like weird but like something flirtatious," she rolled her eyes. "i am not doing that," she whined. "a dare's a dare, kkura!"
she hesitantly turned to taehyun who was on her other side. she looked to the eldest one more time and he nodded encouragingly. she got close to his ear. "i lost my keys... can i-" she laughed to herself, "can i check inside your pants?"
she pulled away with a hand over her face in embarrassment. yeonjun pointed and laughed at her, whole taehyun looked at her, shocked out of his mind.
he put a hand on her thigh and sighed. "why," he paused. "why are you like this?" she immediately blamed yeonjun who put his hands up. fans who caught this interaction began yelling, loudly.
"dude, that was totally your fault," she blamed. he laughed, "you were the one who did it!" he shifted it onto her. "you were the one who forced me to!" she replied. "a dare's a dare," she mimicked.
"what did she even say?" the eldest ignored, turning to the vocalist. he laughed, realizing what she actually said. "she said 'i lost my keys, can i check inside your pants?'"
yeonjun's eyes widened, "sakura! i didn't mean like sex- i meant like cute! like 'you're so handsome i'm blushing just looking at you'" he mimicked a female voice. she paused, "oh." the two laughed, "you have such a dirty mind!" taehyun pushed her shoulder slightly.
just then, the group was placed on the large screen. they gathered themselves as seamlessly as possible, but it was still evident they were doing something else when they should've been paying attention.Β
still, they smiled, made hearts, and clapped. people screamed as usual, but it wasn't for their visuals, they knew it was because they'd been caught. however, they weren't too worried as nobody really knew what they were doing.
as soon as the camera switched to a different group, it was back to their game. "i dare you, choi yeonjun, to get up and...." she thought for a moment, trying to find the most embarrassing thing she could force him to do. it came to her easily, "twerk."
he gasped, "you didn't!" she nodded, "i fucking did." she watched as the eldest nervously looked around. despite her cold exterior, she wasn't ruthless. if the boy didn't want to do it, she didn't want to force him.
"you don't have to do it, you know. i won't judge, really. if you don't feel comfortable, don't do it," she spoke. he looked at her and nodded, "its fine. it's not that bad anyway," he reassured. she doubted the last part of his sentence but nodded anyway.
he slowly got up out of seat, quickly did what he had to, and immediately sat right back down. he hung his head on embarrassment as what felt like most of the fan section erupted into cheers. "aww~" she cooed, "i'm sorry yeonjunnie!" she teased.
"shut up! you are so in for it with this next dare!" he challenged. she rolled her eyes, "yeah? let's see what you can do," she nonchalantly retorted. though deep down she was extremely nervous, she played it off like it was nothing.
"i dare you to get up and scream," her eyes went wide. "you're really gonna make me do that?" she complained, and he giggled, patting her head. "you don't have to," he replied just like she did earlier.
"now i see why you still did it," she realized. it felt quiet condescending and it kind of hurt her pride. her pride was one of the things she treasured the most, and even if it meant embarrassing the shit out of herself, she was going to do that dare.
she stood up in her seat, looking around to see if anyone's eyes were on her. other than fans, it was no one. she counted to three in her head, before yelling.
it wasn't too loud, only the fans sitting very close and their neighboring table- bss's table heard. she sat back down as if nothing happened, singing along to ay-yo by nct 127.
"wow, you look super natural," the eldest teased. she rolled her eyes, "you're just upset i didn't get as embarrassed as you thought i would," she spoke. he hummed, "yeah, sure."
as the two began thinking of a different game to play, a staff member from the side came up to the two. "you guys are being very loud, please stop or else we'll have to separate you."
embarrassed, the two bowed and apologized. as the staff member left, she couldn't help but laugh. she felt like she was in school, getting in trouble for speaking with sora during class.
"let's just do one more dare each," yeonjun reasoned. she thought for a moment before agreeing, it couldn't be that bad. he went first.
"i dare you to go and have an argument with the wall behind us," she challenged. fans were sitting on top of the wall, it was more so a level barrier. still, he got up.
he began angrily talking to the wall, jutting his hands out in many directions. as the fan's cheer's just got louder, he sat back down.
they both laughed for a moment, before he dared her. "i dare you to get up and do a cartwheel." accustomed to the embarrassment, she was no longer hanging her head or nervously looking around.
she got up, did a handstand, and then did a cartwheel. she dusted her hands off and went back to the boy, who praised her. "wow, you even did extra!"
she was about to reply when the same staff member came up to them.
"i'm sorry to say this, but i must separate you two! you are causing too much noise and i've already warned you. miss, please go to the table over there," he pointed to where bss was sitting. "i will notify them about your situation. you, sir, stay here and do not make any more noise. neither of you two should have to get up once more during this show."
as sakura got up to sit with the group under the same label, she and yeonjun made eye contact. they burst out laughing.
the staff member scolded her while simultaneously glaring at the boy. she didn't pay attention however, she was just having too much fun. it was her fault it was so boring!
LANA HAS SOMETHING TO SAY!
