BACKSTORY ; yuri takahashi grew up on the / worse / side of gotham city. born to a single mother after her father passed away a week prior to when she was born. having never met her father was kinda thought growing up. but her mother soon met & married her now step father. a lovely man who cared dearly for her mother and yuri herself. and along with her step father came a step sister. a lovely girl named aviana, who is currently finishing up her first year of college. they're very close being they're the only siblings they've ever had.
prior to getting into gotham academy, yuri had, had an encounter with dick grayson. the boy that she decided to take no mind to being she could care less about his rich — ass adoptive father. but overtime they became friends. and over time yuri had way to many encounters with / the / robin. yuri, being the intelligent girl she was who single handedly got into gotham academy — pieced together everything and confronted dick about it. finally he confessed, after months of bugging. and showed her the wonder of being — well boy wonder himself. showing her the bat cave and such. one day sparring, yuri with her background of boxing was able to take down dick. to both of their surprise batman, the man, the bat, the legend, himself was watching. impressed by her skills he informed the rest of the league. the whole league taking her under their ring and deciding the best was to further her skills, it was best for her to join ‘ the team ’. making her an original on the team, but still the newest actual hero on there. with not much experience but the team happily teaching her.
