Welcome back to another episode of Zephyr Interviews, it's me back with another interview.

We have Baqkns with us today,welcome to the interview!

Without any more late, let's get into the interview!

1) May we know a few words about yourself?

Yup, I am Ankita who goes by the name @Baqkns on this platform. I'm 16!

2) When did you start writing either on this platform or in the normal way?

I am on this platform since 2019. I think I have started writing somewhere around when I was in sixth standard.
That’s really good, I see you’re pretty experienced.

3) What is your motivation to write?

I have a wild imagination and there's always something roaming around in my mind. As I am not a good speaker, I turned to writing. It's my way of expressing myself through my characters.

4) How did you feel when you got to know that you were the winner?

Ah, it was quite fun. I didn't think I would make it cause I have tried some of the books and they were really good. It was a close competition I would say.

5) Did you ever face criticism? If yes how did you overcome it?

Yes, I have received some very brutal criticism on my story but I accepted it. Whatever you feel like my book is, whatever you want to criticize, it's welcomed. Not to mention, some of those many times, those critiques polished this book.

6) When did you come across this genre or this fan fiction category?

It might be somewhere around ten years ago. I like romance genre but I found that I am pathetic in writing those.

7) What was your opinion about our awards and how we hosted them?

It was pretty well organised. I hate those who organise awards just for publicity and leave us hanging around without any final results. It's necessary to take responsibility and you have maintained it.

8) How do you handle writer's block?

Books and music are my friends. A little inspiration from them, then I'm ready to tackle writer's block.

9) Do you plan on taking writing as a profession? If yes, what are your plans for it?

I do plan on taking up writing as a profession though it's still far away. I'm still in school and I think I want to get on writing with my own money to support myself.

10)What was your response when you first published this book?

I was anxious, to tell the truth. My first book had failed horribly and this second one has made it this far with constant editing and adding. It's challenging but that's where the fun lies.

11) As a writer, what are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?

Like I mentioned before, Romance genre is not my cup of tea when it comes to writing. I try to make very small touches on this genre to maintain the bare minimum contact. I think I'm good at creating plots and characters. Many a times, I have been praised for my depth in jotting down minor details. I think I still struggle with the execution of my work and I hope I'!l be at that stage soon.

12) Is there any advice you would like to give to teenagers out there?

Never stop your imagination. It's one of the most beautiful things you can ever get. It cannot be bought with money. There will be many who do not support your point of view but there will be some who will. Never stop believing in yourself.

13) A few words about our community

Teen Fix is a great community and it's members are really worthwhile to spend time with. You have gathered quite a talented bunch. I will wish you your best for your future endeavours!

14) Would you like to join this community?

At the moment I am in one of the most crucial years of my school life. I want to exclusively focus on it for now.

15) How did you feel about giving us the interview? Any suggestions would you like to give?

   I haven't given many interviews but your questions didn't make me uncomfortable nor did I hesitate in answering any.
