'New Email From - joonthefood'

Jimin sniffled as he opened his laptop after seeing the notification from his phone. He sat back down in bed as he logged in his email account.

'Park Jimin

You better have missed these past two days for good reason.

-Your favorite teacher, the best Kim, Namjoon.'

"He's so annoying..." Jimin quickly typed up a reply as he sniffled, grabbing tissues as he then wiped his nose.

'Dear Mister Kim

I have caught the cold. If there's any assignments or lectures I missed, please do send them.

-Park Jimin'

The boy groggily made his way to his kitchen to grab another box of tissues. Unfortunately, Monday's after school activities led him to drop off Hoseok's old jacket to his work place, where a few kids were sick. Hoseok, being their dance teacher and always up to date with vitamins, never got sick easily. But Jimin, wasn't as prepared.

He heard his phone ding as he was making his way back to his room, sneezing like a small kitten.

'Text Message From - Wonho'

The boy was quick to unlock his phone and read the text.

'Hope you are feeling better! Make sure to take your vitamins from now on.'

Although it was a nice gesture, he felt like he was a child after so many people told him to look after himself. Taehyung was disappointed he'd be going to class alone, Hoseok scoffed over the phone when Jimin blamed it on his students, and now Wonho, the nutrition major.

Ding!

'New Email From - joonthefood'

"Such an unprofessional name for an email."

'Park Jimin

There's a tea shop up on Insa-dong called TÉ. Ask for their signature tea.

anthro-lang.pdf

-Namjoon'

The boy really didn't want to go anywhere. He wanted to stay home and sleep, eat chicken soup, and drink iced tea until his cold was gone. But nothing seemed to be working anyways. He took some medicine Wonho had recommended but it didn't help much.

So maybe following the genius' advice wouldn't be so bad.

He drove with eyes half lidded as he didn't notice the fever growing in on him, lips parted as he couldn't breath through his stuffy nose. He barely had the energy to get mad at the bad drivers.

Parking his car was even harder than usual, but not as difficult as walking down the sidewalk to said store.

A bell went off as he entered and the clerk looked up and smiled. "Signature tea?"

Jimin would have sighed had it not taken so much of his breath away. He just slightly nodded and sat at one of the many empty tables.

"Coming right up."

The pink haired boy took out his phone and scrolled through social media, watching as his likes grew. He usually didn't check his comments but now, he was too bored not to.

jhope_off : my cute jiminie, feel better !
van_tae : chicken souuuuup
seagull_kook : feel better hyung

He scrolled through the usual complimenting ones, the thirst ones, and the weird ones. He smiled as he noticed Wonho's comment.

wonnie : take it easy!

Yet right underneath, a username caught his eye as it tagged another username.

minsuga : @joonie_k

He first clicked on the commenter's username, checking their profile, his eyes widening at who it was.

"Here you go sir," The young girl placed the tea down and then a black cup next to him. "Do you know how to drink this?"

Jimin put his found down, confused. "Isn't it just tea?"

"Well yes but," She chuckled as she pointed at the tea. "It's medicinal. We suggest you do it a certain way."

"And that way is..?"

"Well the flavor is strong, so you'll probably spit out the first sip. That's what this cup is for." She poked the cup before turning to Jimin again. "It cleanses your tongue. Second sip should be gargled up as it will clear up your throat. You could spit it out or drink it, doesn't matter. And then you just drink the rest while it's warm."

Jimin slowly nodded at the weirdness of such tea. "Thank you."

"No problem."

The boy looked down at the tea. He was glad he was the only customer, if he wasn't, he wouldn't have tried such weird method. But alas, he took the first sip.

And it was disgusting.

He grabbed the black cup and quickly spit it out.

"Ugh, what the hell is in this?"

The young girl chuckled as she looked up, hand up as she counted off with his fingers the list of ingredients. "Ginger root tea made with salt water, lemon, honey, garlic, and some turnip juice."

Jimin coughed up at the sound of the ingredients. "That's utterly disgusting."

"Never said it was good." She waved his hand at Jimin. "Trust me, it tastes better after the third sip."

The boy looked down at the tea before letting out a huff of air, and taking another sip which he quickly began to gargle. He did so for about ten seconds before swallowing.

He smacked his lips as the girl watched him. "Hmm? Feels better already, doesn't it?"

Jimin frowned but smiled. "It's a confusing tea, alright."

He went back on his phone as he kept drinking the tea. Looking through his own profile, he searched through his followers to see if Yoongi followed him.

But the boy didn't, and he hadn't even liked the post he had commented on.

He went back to his post and the comment.

Clicking on the person Yoongi had tagged on, he took another sip before choking on said sip as he saw who's profile it was.

"You gotta be kidding me."

There he was, even on his day away from school, he just had to see that stupid face of his.

Kim Namjoon.

The boy was to say confused. How did Yoongi find him? And why would he tag his professor on his post? Why does his professor have a public account?

He couldn't help but lurk his through his teacher's posts.

joonie_k : @worldwide_handsome @minsuga you guys never let me live

Jimin seriously couldn't stop scrolling. It made him mad for some reason. This guy acted so entitled, even in his social media. How could anyone like this guy.

And then he stopped at a specific post.

worldwide_handsome : the better kim would never ruin his aesthetic like this 😤
minsuga : it be like that..?

The sick boy couldn't stop staring at the picture. Something was familiar yet he couldn't quite pinpoint what it was. He exited out the profile and finished his tea.

He then overheard the conversation the worker was having on the fun.

"Hmm... No please don't come, I just finished preparing my last drink of the shift... You're already on your way? Alright, but you owe me." She hung up the phone and sighed as she opened the cashier's money bin and began counting said currency.

The pink haired boy stared at the cup. He really felt a lot better. He thought, maybe Namjoon wasn't so bad.

Namjoon.

The name felt weird to think of. Because it should be Mister Kim, and only Mister Kim. But Jimin couldn't stop thinking of that morning. Had it not been for his reckless drinking, said encounter would have never happened.

The boy wouldn't have had to worry of being careful around his own peers. Word got around very quickly at school, and he didn't want the wrong type of word to get loose through the halls he walked through.

Through his pensive state, he still heard the bell of the door, but his thoughts had pulled him into a state in which he stared off across the street through the window of the tea shop.

"Jimin?"

And his eyes widened at the voice because he had just been thinking of the voice's owner. He turned and stared up as his professor looked down at him. "Hi."

"Didn't think you'd follow my advice."

"Had nothing better to do so," Jimin took a breath in as he nodded to himself and looked around the shop. "I came."

The blond teacher pointed at the chair across from Jimin. "Care if I sit?"

"Go ahead." Jimin pulled his cup towards him to make space for the man.

"Oh, I like you sick," Namjoon pointed at the boy as he chuckled. "You don't have an attitude."

"Not much energy to be sarcastic." Jimin watched as Namjoon sat in front of him. "Thanks for recommending the place for me. I do feel a lot better."

"Good, I don't want you missing the assignment tomorrow." The teacher chuckled as he placed his phone on the table and propped his elbows on each side of it, chin resting on the palms of his hands. "Plus, kind of the family business, I have to recommend it to someone."

Jimin frowned. "Family business?"

Namjoon then pointed to the worker counting money. "That's my sister."

She looked up and smiled. "Hiya."

The pink haired boy waved before looking back at Namjoon. "Conceited people are usually the only child."

Namjoon laughed and clapped his hand before pointing at Jimin. "There he is! Snarky Jimin. Gone too long." Namjoon sighed as he looked at the boy. "I'm not conceited. It's just a persona I put on for school."

"Really?" Jimin crossed his arms and scoffed. "Instagram says other wise."

The teacher smirked as he then sighed. "Awe, you looked me up in Instagram? That's adorable!"

"I didn't!" The boy almost shouted. "Yoongi tagged you in my post and I checked your profile, that's all!"

The older rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Still a persona. It's public for the locals, I don't really care much for social media anyways."

"Then who are you?"

Namjoon's smirk shrunk to a simple smile as he looked down and shrugged, his shoulders giving off a disappointed vibe. "Just some guy trying to live life."

Jimin sighed as he ruffled his hair. "Isn't that everyone?"

The teacher looked up and thought of a sarcastic reply like 'well not everyone because not everyone is a guy' but decided not to. He smiled, before nodding his head at the door. "You should head home and get some rest. Don't mean to throw you out but, she's done with her shift and it's time to close shop anyways."

Jimin nodded as he stood up and began walking off. He turned and smiled at the other. "Thanks Namjoon."

As he went back to his car, he left the teacher feeling some type of way back at the tea shop.
