"Donghyuck-ah! I saw him! Oh my God, we finally met!" Jeno says excitedly, barging into his cousin's house, with his cousin's mom. He sees that no one's in the living room.

"Where are you, dude?" He runs to the kitchen to check if his cousin's there. And there he is by the fridge, with Renjun, Donghyuck's soulmate. "There you are—oh, hello, Renjun-ssi."

"Hi, Jeno." Renjun greets him back.

Jeno pulls Donghyuck outside the kitchen to go to the living room and Renjun follows them but stopped in the kitchen to greet Donghyuck's mom.

They sit on the couch while Jeno's still smiling happily. "So, I finally met him!"

'Where?'

Jeno furrows his eyebrows for a second before replying. "In the market. I saw the exact scene in my dream where I-I told you I saw myself. It was amazing!"

Donghyuck chuckles, 'Told you.'

"I was dying inside while talking to him. Too bad, his mom called him because they have to go home." He pouts.

His cousin nods, 'Congratulations! I'm happy for you.'

Jeno frowns, "Why are you signing? Didn't you—"

Donghyuck stops him and leans a bit forward to whisper, "Quiet! I want to surprise Renjun tomorrow."

"Oh!" Jeno laughs, "Okay, okay. As I was saying," he says at the same time Renjun sits next to Donghyuck. "He's so pretty, Hyuck! And he has this bright smile that really got me, it's so beautiful." He rambles enthusiastically and sighs dreamily. "He even gave me his phone number! Oh my God!"

As Renjun hears this, he laughs softly. "I know where Jaemin lives." he suddenly says, making Jeno looks at him.

"Right, you're his best friend, aren't you?" He asks and Renjun nods. "You're coming here tomorrow for Hyuck's birthday, right?"

"Yes. Should I bring him with me tomorrow?" Renjun even smiles teasingly.

"Yes, please! Please!" Jeno exclaims, smiling widely, his eyes can not be seen.

Renjun chuckles, "Alright, I will tell him."

Jeno gets up from the couch and grabs his phone from his pocket. "I'm so excited to see him again!" He walks happily to the stairs, going to the room Donghyuck's mom assigned him to sleep in.

He jumps on the bed and sit, leaning his back on the wall. He unlocks his phone and goes to the contact names. He smiles as he scrolls, finding Jaemin's number. He presses on it and sent him a message.

Nana ♡

Me :

hi, jaemin! it's jeno :D
how are you?

He waits for a reply for a few seconds but nothing came. Maybe Jaemin's not home yet, or his phone is low battery, or the worst, he gave him the wrong number.

"Nah, I'm sure he'll reply later. I just need to have more patience, that's all." He smiles at himself and put down his phone on the bed.

On the other side, as Jaemin and his mom enter their house, he bounces on the couch and leans on the backrest, sighing heavily.

He pulls out his phone when he remembers it vibrated while they're on their way home. He unlocks it and sees that there's a message from an unregistered number.

He smiles and changes the contact name before sending a reply.

Me :

hello jeno! i'm fine.
i just got home. sorry
for the late reply :<

how are you?

Jeno-ya ♡ :

oh, you replied !!

i'm great. fell asleep
while waiting for you
to reply but it's okay
tho :>

is there a chance
that you want to meet
again?

Me :

of course, i'd love to!

"Jaemin-ah, please help me here." he heard his mom says.

"Oh. Okay, coming right!"

Me :

hey, let's talk later.
i have to help mom
with the groceries

Jeno-ya ♡ :

He puts his phone down on the center table and walks to the kitchen where he sees his mom taking out the fruits and vegetables.

"Min-ah, you mentioned that you saw yourself in your dream last night?" His mom asks and he only nods.

"Did you meet your soulmate already?"

Jaemin nods again, "Yes."

She widen his eyes as she smiles at him. "Really? What does he look like?"

"Actually, he's the guy I was talking to at the meat section earlier."

"Wait, why didn't you tell me?"

"I..." Jaemin scratches his nape. "I was shy. And I'm afraid that you'll tease me."

"Oh my God, no!" She giggles and ruffles her son's hair. "I'm glad you already meet each other."

Jaemin smiles, "Thanks, Mom."

Me :

why?

Renjun :

jeno's there too :))

He widen his eyes upon reading his bestfriend's reply.

Me :

wait, how did you
know his name?
i don't remember

Renjun :

i was at their house
earlier and he was
there too

of course, wth !
just tell me what
time should i come

we can go there

they're cousins

Me :

his name's familiar

Jaemin sighs dreamily and puts his phone underneath his pillow. He lies on his bed and turns to the side as he closes his eyes.

Can't believe I'm seeing him tomorrow again!
