☺CHARACTER
➪ NAME: Hisui Liu Zoeng (Real name: Hisui Qiang Chen. She discarded this name almost immediately as she could after leaving home so it's no longer her name anymore, except for her first name that is, which she kept as a memento of the struggles she went through and prevailed over.)
nickname(s): Sui, 'Zo - they make her feel more carefree and teenager-ish so please call her forever and she'll love you forever • Hihi (pronounced hee-hee) - makes her sound like a slight maniac, so sure you can call her this, but she prefers the two stated before • And call her by her real name (although she'll probably never tell you) and you die painfully and slowly by her hand. Cheers.
➪ AGE: 20 (looks younger, almost 21)
birthday: July 23rd (Leo)
➪ GENDER: female
pronouns: she/her
sexuality: cupiosexual panromantic (cupiosexual means she wants a sexual relationship but doesn't really experience it)
☺APPEARANCE
➪ body type: Uh. Beats me... (Can you help me out here, Suga?)
eyelashes: They were pretty long and feathery, but then she cut them down a little because they were attracting too many annoying men.
hair: It was originally what you'd imagine a typical Chinese girl's hair to be like: Long, pitch black, had bangs, looked like it was constantly shiny and like silk... Then after she ran away she lopped it all off into a short, choppy, messy boyish style cut. She also proceeded to go through a variety of hair dyes until she finally settled on a lightish kelly green color and it's still that way to this day. She redyes it every six months or so. The roots are still black; you can just barely tell since it's not like she really lets anyone close enough to dig through her hair and-You get the picture...
skin tone: It used to be a normal healthy color but after rebelling she spent way more time in the sun and it became nice and tanned. (If not looking like it was sunburned at some parts...)
piercings: One on her right ear that usually has a blue feather dangle earring from it and three on the shell of her left ear, usually with three red small hoop earrings pierced on them. She also has an amethyst usually pierced through her left eyebrow.
tattoos: One of a green parrot (otherwise known as her pet) on her right forearm. (Sorry if the picture's a little blurry!)
scars: Hisui has a really big scar going from between her eyebrows to the cheek level to her mouth, which has been there for quite some time now. She got it when she was trying to tame a tiger at the zoo on one of her rare free days and whoopies, she chose the wrong tiger to mess with 'cause one slash from that claw and hello, scar! Thankfully Hisui dodged in time but one claw still slashed across her face. (Although it was kind of her own fault since she knew perfectly well that that tiger was the most ill-tempered creature in the entire zoo and yet she was determined to see if she could tame it. Joke's on you, Hisui...) It's likely to last forever, or at least still have a faint mark even when she's old.
wounds: A couple hours into the apocalypse she was resting when suddenly she got ambushed by zombies in the place she was resting. She got out alive, but one of the zombies clung onto her left knee so hard that the zombie dislocated it temporarily. It's okay for now, but it still aches at times when she overexerts herself and when that happens it hinders her a bit because she's forced to limp slightly and it makes her stumble in battle. After consulting a doctor, the doctor told her it should be fine if she didn't put too much pressure on it and heal on its own after a while, but it's considered a kind of unpredictable long-term type of wound. It's a bit inconvenient at the worst times but she'll snap at you if you even so much suggest she should fall back because of it.
extra: Here's a multitude of pictures!

☺PERSONALITY
➪ quick personality summary: Hisui is a naturally open, friendly, and bold person who is emotionally strong. She ain't the type to chicken out and go home easily, and is great at keeping her head up even in the worst of times, although sometimes she can come off as an idiot to people and can be too trusting, impulsive, and stubborn.
5+ personality traits:
━ Optimistic and emotionally strong. When the apocalypse happens, people react in many different ways. Some are overridden with despair at the thought, some kill themselves because they think it's hopeless, some become evil in order to survive with a fine humane desperation... but not Hisui! She took a completely different path and one of the few upbeat, optimistic people in this whole mess. She doesn't break easily under pressure (that just motivates her to work harder, although a brief mental breakdown is very plausible) and is good at raising other people's spirits and motivate them to keep on going. Hisui is a very encouraging and always keeps her head up, no matter the situation, always forging ahead and choosing not to dwell on what happened in the past unless it's really important. She will willingly bitch slap you across the face if you start wallowing in depression and bark a heartfelt but rather blunt lecture at you. Despite this, she's surprisingly emotional and if she's forced to kill a friend that turned into a zombie she'll shed some tears before wiping them away and scattering the ashes of that friend. But this is also kind of bad since she tends to put other people before herself and therefore bottle up her own feelings while trying to understand other people's feelings, and can end up forcing herself to stay emotionally strong when she can't just admit she needs a good rant and/or shoulder to cry on to let it all out.
━ Bold, headstrong, and stubborn. If you've been with her for a long time, you'll know Hisui is one of the most bold and headstrong people you will ever know. She's that one gently harsh helicopter mom that 'gently' threatens that 'if you don't tend to that wound right here and now I'll knock you out and do it myself' or something like that. She gives and takes it all, she doesn't like to just take a little with her it's either all or nothin'. Hisui has absolutely no qualms in being shameless and even delights in the shocked jawdrops of the people she does shock with her brashness; she'll wave to any random person even if she just like met them really briefly and once, and she'll make smug-as* expressions to her enemies just to pis& 'em off on purpose. In terms of reaching out for friendships, she's usually the one to take the initiative. However she's also super stubborn. Once she's set her sights on something, good luck trying to convince her to turn her head anywhere else. She's got like predator-like instincts and whatever she registers as her 'prey' she focuses solely on that one thing or goal; try to dissuade her from completing her 'hunt' and she'll struggle against that strongly. It takes a lot of persuasion if you want her leave behind a friend, and hates using decoys unless she's the decoy. And although she knows betrayal is going to happen of course with the whole 'do-or-die' situation they're in at the moment, betrayal still hurts her, even thoughs she might not show it on her face it'll show in her actions. This stubbornness of hers can get on other people's nerves and hold her back at several moments of time, but it's not going to go away anytime soon since it's also been kind of helpful at some times.
━ Charismatic, friendly, and open. She's quite good at leading people; people just naturally gravitate her slightly loud personality and optimistic, loudly guffawing self. Hisui loves to make friends and is friendly with anyone, no matter what they might be like (unless they're the type she hates, see enemies section) and if she sets her sights on becoming someone's friend she will persist in such a task. She's good at observing people as well and knows when she should step back and re-evaluate the situation, and takes great care of those she is close to. Hisui doesn't mind including any new people into her circle of friends (although please see the section on 'friends' for more details) and in her opinion there's nothing more comforting in the midst of an apocalypse for a circle of her friends to be sitting around a circle and eating and chatting. She also isn't the type to wait for things to happen, as mentioned earlier, she likes to or is usually the one to take the initiative. She's the mother wolf of the pack and knows how to effortlessly control the mood and take the mood of the group into something better or snap them 'back into it'. (You can rely on her to be the first to break the ice and also force everyone in the group to get along) Hisui likes to believe in the best of people and therefore, LET'S BE FRIENDS! is her 'meeting random strangers' rule. XD-
━ Quick on the uptake. Hisui is that type of person that can burst into a room, look around at what the people's expressions are like, listen to some people talk briefly, ask a few questions, and instantly know what's going on and sometimes even why. She's good at cold readings (what she had to learn that in order to avoid swindlers and swindle some people of her own right) and doesn't beat around the bush around at all, preferring to get straight to the point unless she's trying to torment her friends.
━ Impulsive and too trusting. Literally this girl is the type of person to try and make friends with the enemy, which is a super bad habit of hers. No matter hoooow many times her friends try to convince her otherwise she still always tries to do so, either jokingly or dead seriously. While she does present a rather ruthless exterior when cutting down zombies when they attack, deep down she has a core that whispers that there's a hidden story and side to everyone which makes her hesitate-on the inside, that is. Cliche as it sounds she believes in hearing the full story before making any complete judgments, but that also sometimes leads to her downfall. Hisui is also pretty impulsive. She tends to do things as they come which also can be detrimental in the end. While she has a level head most of the times and makes a good plan before leaping into action she can attack if surprised (jump-scare her and her first reaction is "KICK 'EM IN THE SHINS!") without considering other things first. And while she doesn't like to let her emotions control her sometimes she just can't help it; when she's enraged she tends to lose any trace of levelheadedness and goes full raging predator mode without any ounce of waiting or hesitation.
hobbies: taming and training wild things/animals, learning about new things, cramming... She's actually still searching for a good hobby and goes through at least a couple a week. Almost stabbed her throat when trying to knit, almost got a concussion when trying to juggle, almost fainted when trying to learn acrobatics and the blood rushed to her head too suddenly... It's a lengthy process, to say the least, we'll leave it at that. -v-' (The whole apocalypse thing doesn't help either)
talents:
- Taming and training wild animals. Literally, for some reason animals just naturally relax around her and it's super easy for her to get them to understand her and as a result train them. In fact, if you take a really docile zombie (whatever that means anyways) she might be able to control it with some time to some extent. However at the moment it's kind of just like she's like some animal god who can train animals quite easily.
- Cramming-I MEAN, quickly learning and memorizing things (the more pressure, the better). Give her a basic textbook on survival skills, a credit card to the nearest supermarket and you'll be all set, she'll have like the whole thing memorized in an hour of continuous studying. Of course, the downside to this is that she usually forgets within a couple weeks of learning it.
- Katana-play (that's not a word is it...). Basically, fighting with a katana. I'm sure this doesn't require an explanation, but oh well... She's also not bad at hand-to-hand combat and knows how to use her opponent's strength against them with some clever calculations.
- Can speak many languages. Hisui can speak at least nine languages semi-fluently (although writing it is kind of another thing) since it was part of her parent's strict learning curriculum. She uses this to communicate with a variety people with ease.
- As mentioned with the animal taming thing, Hisui can train animals to gather information for her then 'report back' and as such is a great candidate for infiltration since she's also quite light (quiet) on her feet and is good at thieving and decepting people.
- Other than that her other talents are listed mainly in the personality traits list.
dislikes: her family, her past, people who are like the people described in the 'enemies' section, failure, people who are depressed and their dark feelings get in the way of their own happiness
likes: success, freedom, making friends, LIVING NO SH*T, CUTTING THROUGH ZOMBIES YAY!, chatting and eating with friends around a fire (preferably at night)
(Wow I really skimped on the likes and dislikes and hobbies and talents didn't I, sorry, I'm a little drained after everything else and I'm feeling a bit lazy T^6 I'll probably add more later ^ ^')
☺RELATIONSHIPS
➪ mother & father: [Mother; Juan Chen, Father; Gang Chen] Three words. Oh hell no. Both of them were retired war generals, and after living through a war that experience clearly hardened them since as soon as Hisui was old enough for first grade they started mercilessly training her in academics and swordfighting. She was homeschooled and didn't have her first friend until she was fifteen, when she convinced her parents to get her a pet parrot named J-Rank. Hisui never got any breaks and was berated sharply if she started to lag behind in any of her studies, the rare times she did get breaks her parents sent a strict bodyguard to watch over her to make sure she wasn't doing anything too 'unladylike'. They were the textbook examples of an overbearing, super strict Chinese parents, barely letting her have any freedom (seriously she even had restrictions on who she could contact and what she could participate in with her phone) and just had a really strict upbringing in general. They pushed her to be, if not perfect, but a strong woman that wouldn't break under anything and believed discipline was first and most important in a person. (In fact, when she got her scar, her father was furious, but her mother waved it away and even calmed her father down because to her, 'scars showed that you were strong and had gone through hardship, but didn't let it break you'. And also, as you can tell, Hisui liked her mother a bit more than her father.) As you can expect this type of living was absolutely suffocating and nearly killed Hisui emotionally speaking (J-Rank was pretty much the only reason why she didn't turn into an emotionalless, soul-lacking sociopath or something.) Finally when she was eighteen she snapped and ran away from home (the reason being explained soon). Needless to say, Hisui didn't really feel much remorse at leaving, only leaving a note reading "Thank you for 'teaching me so much' throughout these years, but I think it's time for the birdie to leave her nest. Zài jiàn. -H." (Zài jiàn means 'goodbye' in Chinese.)
siblings: [Older sister, Lei Chen, 25 years old at disappearance.] Hisui didn't even know her older sister existed until much, much later after she ran away. Turns out Lei also rebelled against her parents and ran away like her when she was around sixteen, going who knows where. That's what caused her parents to become even more strict. Hisui admires her guts, but she's a little betrayed by the fact that A. she's never even heard of Lei and B. left her behind in the world of ultra-strict parents. [Little sister, Chao Chen, eleven years old.] Hisui and her lil sister ain't that close. They're like what nine years apart and each barely knew each other existed for the majority of their lives. But one night, Hisui caught her parents talking when she was supposed to be sleeping about how they should just put their effort into training Chao more since Hisui was being 'too rebellious'. Overwhelmed with betrayal because HEY! She was trying her best despite the suffocating circumstances! Hisui ran away and changed her name once she could legally do so, hopping on the next flight to a country on the other side of the world. While Hisui doesn't hold much against Chao, and feels guilty since Chao technically didn't do anything offending, she doesn't hold any overwhelming desire to reconnect with her again either.
other family members that are important: Nooooope.
relationship with family before apocalypse: *raises eyebrows suggestively at the past couple of paragraphs I dearly hope you read* The short answer is hell no. It is and was pretty terrible.
➪ friends: Hisui likes to make friends, sure, and she's super friendly, but also, it's the apocalypse. She likes to only briefly get attached to random people, but if you look like you're strong and won't die within like the first hours of a zombie attack then she'll slowly start warming more to you. (Well, even more than before, anywhos)
close friends: *does jazz hands* At the moment only Brooklyn (Dark's OC) but open ;D. They have to fit the requirements stated in the previous Q-and-A.
best friend: None yet, but open as always :)
explain how your relationship would be as someone's best friend or friend: I'm not kidding at all when I say, Hisui is willing to die for her best friend. She would willingly take a shot for them and prioritize their life and well-being over her own, like she could be full-on dying and be like "Hey, friend, you remembered to brush your teeth this morning, right...?" When they're in trouble she will drop everything and dash in to save them (although she'd probably formulate a good plan first) and those who hurt her friends SHALL NOT HAVE MERCY! Only her close, close, closest friends who have broken through all such barriers will Hisui confide her real name to them; that's a real sign of true trust for her. It's basically like taking a vow of marriage, except in this case, a vow of forever SISTERHOOD/FRIENDHOOD!
➪ love interest: Eh... I mean. I don't mind anyone, so go ahead if you want. But I didn't really create her for a specific person or anything in mind. (I would prefer a girl though, heads-up)
backup love interest: *waggles eyebrow at the previous question's answer*
it's the apocalypse but you still want to be romantic what do you do? Or where do you go?: Hisui shows her love by either dying for you or saving your butt. Actually wait she would probably give really morbid gifts because she is terrible at romance, like after saving you from a zombie attack she'd give you the dead zombie's head with a rose cheerfully like "Love ya babe!" -v-' As for dinner, in her eyes nothing is more romantic than a shared favorite food around a fire after a successful food raid. (You see, the taste of success just makes everything sweeter)
what happens if stuck in a love triangle?: Oh helllll no. She would probably force herself to fall outta love with both because she would rather hurt herself than the other two. (Literally though being in one is. The. Worst. Glad I don't have to experience it)
wants to have s-s-... . . . lose their virginity?: Sure...??? *super awkward faces* I, I mean...?!??! (and you'd never know I sacrificed innocence to my fujoshi side a very long time ago... T T)
how would a relationship with you be like?: *does finger guns at the previous, previous, previous, previous question's answer* (okay this is just me being lazy tell me if I need to elaborate -v-')
➪ enemies + why enemies?: No enemies at the moment... But- Hisui cannot. Stand. People who have a stick up their back that say 'I need to be this edgy emo that sucks all the fun out of things and act like a pompous brat and beg silently for attention and always have this dead face on'. It irks her so bad, like what the hell? Why do you feel the need to act like that, it's bad enough that the apocalypse is happening there's like no need to be like that. For the love of her she wants to know why??? It ain't necessary, hello, and those people just remind her too much of her parents for her liking and it makes her want to beat them to death or at least avoid them severely. She'll only put up with those types of people and snobs for so long before her self-control snaps and she either decks them in the jaw or gets the hell outta there before doing so.
☺EXTRAS
➪ what can you contribute?: Hisui is great at slashing through zombies with GUSTO. GUSTO I TELL YOU. (That is, attacking and defending when they're attacked by... enemies.) Once she has your trust she will also willingly trust you and carry your orders out perfectly well (as long as you ask politely and don't act like a total arse while asking). She's sneaky and light on her feet, and she's trained her pet parrot to be able to infiltrate places quietly and 'report back' to her. (In caws of course) She's also quite willing to share and ain't the worst at being diplomatic. (It's just some people end up thinking she's an idiot after a diplomatic meeting or something... oh well.)
➪ if you can use a weapon what is it?: A katana, but she prefers other weapons like throwing knives or heck a gun despite her rather terrible aim because a katana brings back rather unpleasant memories she'd really much rather forget. Although it's fun when she imagines it's her parents she's cutting through when cutting through a horde of zombies.
➪ any pets, if so name?: As you probably already know, Hisui owns a green parrot named Jisui Rankelberry (don't ask about the name it was created on instinct when put on the spot about what to name it and 'cause it's r hYMES... later, that is) or just J-Rank for short. It took her exactly three months of relentless research and persuasion to convince her parents to let her keep him... J-Rank has a remarkable weird power to literally stay alive and keep cawing "I'M ALIVE! JINKLE LIVES!" (he's convinced his name is Jinkle no matter how much she tries to convince him otherwise) no matter what happens. Like the bird once got electrocuted, a couple hours later he flapped triumphantly (?) out of his hospital bed cawing that and scaring all the nurses.
And yes I do want this guy to live he's a good boi.
➪ any extras?: Down below :D
➪ random facts: Believes backpacks are a tripping hazard with all her heart after tripping on stray backpacks one too many times, sometimes switches to Chinese mid-English or the opposite when muttering really fast or thinking about a plan out loud, wanted to be an author before the whole apocalypse happened, her dream job was something that didn't require too much work, paparazzi, stress, or responsibility, a technology dunce and hates texting on a phone, dances at night when she thinks she isn't being watched, and likes to do finger guns. A lot. Either that, or jazz hands.

Lookies here Suga I spedran this form in a total time of four-ish hours and several other hours of careful thinking in my mind, but even so if there's anything missing or if this didn't quite live up to my usual standards or if it's super terrible I sincerely apologize TvT' *bows heavily*
Thanks for reading and I hope she gets in! ^ ^
