Author note: I'm supposed to be working on my upcoming Loki fic but I couldn't so enjoy! This is my first drabble in English and I'm so nervous to post it...

" Doll ?"

Steve's voice echoed through the hallway without any responses back... Worried and a little bit intrigued, he put down the two grocery bag he was holding before looking for you in the tiny apartment you were sharing together.

You were in the living room, a big headphone placed on your head, dancing around and humming while your favourite was playing very loudly. No wonder why you didn't answer him ... You couldn't even hear your own voice over the music. Steve didn't move nor did he tried to make you notice him.

Awe, pure and simple awe, that's what he felt watching you like that, dancing like nothing else mattered. You looked like you came out straight from a dream, the most beautiful dream he had ever made, spinning in your blue summer dress like you were doing with your bare feet seeming to never touch the ground and your sweet voice singing along with the tune.

When you opened your eyes while smiling widely at him, he could swear that his heart almost stopped...He loved your bright smile so much that he still couldn't believe that it was destined to him.

"Steve ! I didn't heard you coming..."

A little blush appeared on your cheeks while you quickly removed your headphones after stopping the music you were listening to and joined him. He smiled softly as he circled you in his arms, humming happily when you leaned against his chest.

" If you wanted to dance so much, you could have asked me...You know I would love to do it with you."

Your whole face lit up at his word and you turned around to face, a big smile on your lips.

" Really ?"

Steve nodded as he went over to the record player you had offered him for his birthday. After carefully choosing a vinyl record and delicately placing it in the player, he turned around, holding out a hand to you with a sappy grin.

" May I have this dance Ma'am ?"
