Winter couldn't believe that Sophia had been here all along. Carol was sobbing

"Don't look. Don't look" Daryl told Carol. Carol swatted Daryl away before she ran off to be by herself. Beth handed Nicky to Jimmy before she went to approach one of the walker corpses. Rick tried to stop her

"Shh, shh, shh. Wait, wait, wait, wait" Rick said but Beth pushed past him. She sat beside one of the corspes

"Ma.." Beth muttered before the walker began to move. She screamed as it pulled on her hair. Everyone rushed over to help her. She didn't understand why everyone tried pulling her away instead of shooting the walker so, she made her way to the gun Sam had dropped. She then aimed and shot the walker in the head. Beth was still sobbing and everyone was now unsure of what to do next. They began to head towards the house and of course Shane had something to say. He always did. Sam was walking alongside Winter. His expression was filled with sadness which was completely understandable

"We've been out. We've been combing these woods looking for her and she was in there all along? You knew" Shane said

"Leave us alone" Maggie said

"Hey, Shane, just stop, man" Rick said as he tried to stop Shane. However, Shane didn't appreciate that

"Get your hands off me. You knew and you kept it from us" Shane said

"I didn't know" Hershel said

"That's bullshit. I think y'all knew" Shane said

"Can't you give it a rest, please?" Winter asked. Shane looked at her

"Give it a rest?! Are you fucking kidding me?! We've been looking for that little girl and she's been here all along! You're injured because of them!" Shane yelled

"I got injured because I fell, and if Hershel said he doesn't know, then he doesn't know" Winter said

"Otis put those people in the barn. Maybe he found her and put her in there before he was killed" Hershel tried to reason

"You expect me to believe that? Do I look like an idiot?" Shane asked. Winter just about had enough of Shane

"Shane, hey, hey, hey" Rick tried to calm him down

"I don't care what you believe!" Hershel yelled

"Everybody just calm down" Rick said

"Get him off my land!" Hershel yelled

"Please. No" Rick said

"Let me tell you something" Shane said as he went to approach Hershel. Maggie pushed him back

"Hey. Don't touch him! Haven't you done enough?" Maggie asked as she slapped Shane

"I mean it- off my land" Hershel said before he and his family went inside

"Look what you've fucking done" Winter spat out at Shane. Shane rolled his eyes

"Oh, God. You want to pick fights with me, too? Following in little Mikey's footsteps, huh?" Shane asked

"You are fucking us all over!" She yelled

"I am doing what needs to be done! I am protecting this group! You just don't see that because you don't want to!" Shane spat at her as he got in her face and grabbed her wrist harshly. She got out of his grip quickly. Winter was fuming. She was ready to take one of her crutches and beat the bastard with it. Sam got in between Shane and Winter as he pushed Shane back

"Put your hands on her again, I fucking dare you" Sam spat at Shane

"What? You gonna beat my ass just like your big brother, Sammy? I don't know if anyone has told you, but you're weak!" Shane yelled as he chuckled. Sam quickly slammed his fist against Shane's face, catching Shane off guard. He then grabbed Shane by the collar and whispered something in his ear before Shane pushed him off. Rick got in between the two

"Woah, woah. Let's all just calm down" Rick said before turning to Winter. He was begging for her help

"Sam, come on" Winter said

"I can't just let hi-" Winter cut him off

"Sam, please?" Winter asked. He looked at her and nodded. The two walked off

Sam had taken some time to cool down. Shane really pissed him off. Not only, did he put his hands on Winter, but he had brought his older brother into it as well. An hour had passed since then, and Sam had cleared his mind. He understood that he couldn't hold onto things. He was already going through so much, that he couldn't keep adding more things for him to waste energy on. Sam was walking alongside Lori and Dale

"This place is going to hell" Dale said

"Tell me about it" Sam said

"Yeah, I'm trying hard to prevent that" Lori said

"You won't be able to. No, there are people in this group who think that what Shane did was justified" Dale said

"I know you two can't stand each other, but he did something that needed to be done" Lori said

"It was the way that he went about it that was wrong" Sam said

"I agree, he's dangerous" Dale said

"Yeah, he's a hothead" Lori said

"No, he's dangerous. I think he killed Otis" Dale said causing both Lori and Sam to look at Dale

"Otis was killed by walkers" Lori said

"He knew how to handle walkers. Otis was the one who was putting them in the barn" Dale said. Honestly, Sam wouldn't be all that surprised if it turned out that Shane had killed Otis

"You need to be really clear with me right now. What are you saying?" Lori asked

"I believe that- that Shane sacrificed Otis. I can't prove it, but I-I-I- I think that he- I think that he shot him and left him for bait, so that he could get away" Dale said

"Shane may be a hothead, but he's not a murderer" Lori said. Sam thought Shane was very well capable of killing someone for his own benefit

"I wouldn't be too sure" Sam said. Lori looked at him

"Not you, too. Why would he kill somebody who's trying to help?" Lori asked

"I don't know. Maybe he was pinned down. He said it- he said it. He all but threw it in my face. I'm telling you- I knew guys like him, and sooner or later he's gonna kill somebody else" Dale said before walking off

Winter had found out about Beth's state. She was truly sorry to hear about it. However, when Winter tried to check on Beth, Maggie had stopped her and asked if she would keep her eye on Nicky. She didn't want him seeing Beth like this. So, Winter obliged. She watched as he ran around the table with a smile on his face

"Wow, you're so fast" Winter said as she gave him a thumbs up. He laughed, before he ran right into the table. Winter's eyes widened in shock as Nicky fell on his butt. She got ready for him to cry, but he didn't. He just started laughing before running around again. Maybe an hour or so later, Winter saw Lori walk to the back door. Dale had come inside to play with Nicky. She could tell he was fond of children. Winter got up and followed Lori. She opened the back door and Lori turned around, completely caught off guard

"What are you doing?" Winter asked her as Lori had a gun and a map in her hands. She quickly hid the items

"Um, nothing.." Lori lied. Winter wasn't amused

"You know, if you're gonna lie, you're going to need to do better than that" Winter said. Lori sighed

"I'm going to find Hershel, you know Beth needs him right now" Lori said

"Well, you shouldn't go alone. Let me go get so-" Winter was cut off

"No, I'm fine. I can do it by myself" Lori said

"That's just stupid. You shouldn't go off on your own, Lori" Winter said

"Look, I appreciate the concern, but I do not need a babysitter" Lori told her

"I am not letting you leave by yourself" Winter said

"Are you gonna stop me?" Lori asked. Winter sighed before she approached the car

"No, I'll just come with" Winter said as she opened the passenger door and got in. Lori stared at her shocked

"You can't be going around, you're injured" Lori said

"I'll be fine, plus I can shoot a gun better than you can" Winter said

"Okay, fine" Lori said before she got into the car. The two left the farm in the car. There was still daylight so it wasn't too late

"Can you look at the map and tell me where to go?" Lori asked

"About that, see I'm terrible with directions" Winter said. Lori sighed as she grabbed the map

"It's fine, I can do it. Just watch the road" Lori said

"Okay" Winter said. Lori began looking at the map as she drove. There was a walker in the road

"Lori, there's a walker" Winter said but Lori hadn't heard her

"Lori! There's a walker in the road!" Winter yelled causing Lori to look up and gasp. She hit the walker dead on, causing the half of the windshield to crack. She began screaming as she couldn't gain control of the wheels. Winter began screaming once she realized how terrible of a driver Lori was. Lori veered off the road and managed to completely total and flip the car. The impact knocked both of them out
