How time flies by, without ever being the same. But one thing I saw, was how you never changed.

Maybe it was your evergreen smile, or the never ending fantasy woven in your eyes. Whatever it may be, you never fail to amuse me. And that's just what makes me love you even more.

And the joy I felt when I found out that you would be attending the same college as me, to study before taking the reins of your father's company, was absolutely unimaginable.

I know, it hurts sometimes. How I would only ever remain a friend to you probably. But at least, I can be a close one.

The one you would rely on when trouble strikes you, or the one who would wipe your tears away and make it okay.

For years, I've longed to play this role in your story. To be a permanent character of your book of life. And I can only hope I was somewhat closer to my goal.

I wish to be the one you would run to for solace, even if it is as a friend. I wish to be your shoulder to lean on.

Oh Adrien, you don't how much you fill me with ecstasy every single time you turn to me for a solution of a problem. The joy that erupts within my heart in an unexplainable one.
