[Blurry Vision]

"You know this would be a lot easier if you'd stay out of it Ren." A grey-eyed girl sighed to her done with everything friend who was leaning against a wall as the girl sat in her local coffee shop's bathroom.

"Yes, it would and suppressing your quirk won't stop anything [Name]." [Name] shot a glare at the hoodie-wearing boy as she grabbed her coffee cup and a small bottle of pills as she dumped a few into her hand. Ren sighed shaking his head as he shoved his hands into his pockets as he walked towards the door. "Do you want me to grab you anything while you drive yourself into insanity?" [Name] waved her hand, hanging her head and covering her ears as she swallowed the pills. Ren chuckled at the mess of a friend he was looking at and walked back into the coffee shop leaving [Name] alone.

A young [h/c]ed girl stood waiting just outside a doctor's office clutching onto her distressed mother's hand. "Mommy is everything ok?" the girl innocently asked a pale glimmer from her grey eyes sent chills down her mother's spine.

"Of course sweetheart, we're just doing a quick checkup ok!" her mother smiled down at her daughter. No matter how unnerved her daughter made her, [Name] was still her daughter and she would still love her even if [Name] talked to the air and that her eyes had changed from a sparkling [e/c] to a dull grey when she turned two. With a final smile, she gripped the nine-year old's hand and brought her in as the receptionist shot them looks.

===================

[Name] felt her head thunk against the wall as Ren walked back in a smirk crossing his face. "So, already regretting this?" Ren sits down next to her as she groans. [Name] holds her head in minor pain and annoyance.

"I really didn't expect the headache to set in this quickly." she muses while swirling her coffee as she stares at Ren. Ren just gives her an 'I told you so' smile as he pulls down his hood letting his dark black hair drift in front of his face.

"You know this feels a lot like that time in, what fifth? fourth? third? grade, your first time taking the medication and I found you moaning and groaning in the bathrooms when I came in." he laughs gaining a slight smile from [Name] as she lifted her head.

"Oh god I remember that I nearly passed out when you tried to help me up!" she smiles

"No, you almost threw up on me!" he grins as he gets a slap from [Name].

===================

"So Miss Kikyo, what exactly has been the problem with young [Name]?" The doctor asks. [Name] is sat off in the corner of the room as her mother attempted to bring to light her problem with her own daughter.

"I- well, you see [Name]'s eyes... they lost their colour when she was around two. It had us all surprised, we were just wondering if it was bad in any way." Her mother gave the doctor a weak smile as her gaze drifts over to her daughter, while the doctor gives her mother a questioning look.

"There is a possibility of it being her quirk-" The doctor beings to speak but her mother cuts in.

"No, that's not it, she hasn't displayed anything of the sort and it being a possible quirk would be impossible as nothing like it runs in our family/" She sighs running her hands through her hair.

"Of course." The doctor pauses to quickly type the 'ailments' that [Name] was suffering from onto his computer before continuing. "So what else has been happening to your daughter?"

===================

"Finallyyyyyyyyy" [Name] sighs brushing strands of hair out of her face her mood slightly brighter.

"Did it kick in." Ren sighs, resting a hand on her shoulder.

"I would say yes but I can still see you!" she smiles poking out her tongue much to Ren's chagrin. Ren flicks her as he gets up brushing himself of "But mainly yes, could go with another round of coffee though."

"Can you even see normally yet?" he sighs as he watches [Name] stumble up attempting to go for the door before being blocked by Ren.

"No." she rolls her eyes, slumping down again knowing she wouldn't be getting out until she could see the world, not as a blurry mess. "Visions still too blurry to see a straight line."

"Right then, you're sitting down until you can."

"God you're insufferable!" she hisses attempting to crawl past him but only ends up slamming into the wall next to the door.

"So are you." he smiles continuing to guard the door as she grumbles in annoyance. Ren sitting down next to her and pulling out a book from [Name]'s bag as he started another round of babysitting.

===================

"So to be exact, young [Name] seems to be seeing things?" [Name]'s mother nods hesitantly "Could you specify." her mother almost completely retracts and if it weren't for the doctor's concerned and honest gaze she would have already left.

"P- people." she takes a breath in shaking. "She's been saying that she's been seeing people i- in the most horrible ways."

"And when did this start, Miss Kikyo?" The doctor stares at her intently awaiting the answer, the doctor himself had never had to handle such an intricate patient and what she was doing was fascinating to him, he just needed to know more.

"I- well I don't know exactly" she pauses collecting her thoughts, "I believe the first time was when she was five, we woke up to her screaming that there was a woman in her room. We were all terrified but there was no one there, we checked everywhere but no woman. And things continued like that, her seeing people, screaming and scaring us- we just want her fixed." she states, desperation lacing her voice.

"Well, I few suggestions."

"And they are?"

"I will have to get the medication created for her needs but for her symptoms, she may have some serious side effects." There was a small spark of hope lit in your mother's eyes. "But it could take up to a month for that option to be available." and that hope just disappears and brings her back into darkness.

"And what else can I do to her?"

"Condition her, find a place where she can 'see' and make her see them until she isn't afraid."

"A- Are you sure that will be ok?"  Her mother is startled by this but she was desprate and desperation brings most to drastic measures.

"At the very least it will stop your child for reacting for a while." He smiles, passing her mother a form. "Now, I'll see you in a month."

"O- of course." her mother smiles back grabbing the form and her daughter's small hand.

===================

[Name] more steadily on the second time gets up as she rests her weight on the sink next to her. "Now can we leave?" Ren smiles stepping out of the way and even helps [Name] steady herself as she tries to walk to the door. Ren quickly rushed over to her and added some minorly needed assistance.

"Of course, so now are we stuck going to a convenience store to fuel your coffee addiction or are we heading home with a doughnut?" he smiles walking her out of the bathroom, his hands once again in his pockets as soon as he was sure that she could handle herself.

"Not being picky today so we're doing both." [Name] glances around at the slightly confused coffee shop patrons, who were all staring at her.

"Fun, honestly I was hoping for mochi than anything else." [Name] glares at him in unspoken annoyance as they continue walking.

"You know it wouldn't matter what you chose since i'm the only one eating." she rolls her eyes as they both walk through the door, their conversation continuing with laughter. The onlookers watch as fourteen-year-old girl walks out talking to the air while drinking black coffee.
