1.) I'm in the Hero Course

Tamiko stares at the holographic screen of All Might with the biggest eyes. The video has already played, and it's frozen on the final played scene.

Tsunagu watched the video with her, standing from behind as she sat at the desk. He proudly smiles, putting his hands on her shoulders to snap her from her daze. "Congratulations, Tamiko. Celebrations are in order. Let's go out for a nice dinner."

She gasps, slapping a palm to her head in exasperation. "I... I actually got in... what the shit..."

Tamiko looks around at the school in awe as she heads inside. She squeezes the straps of her pink bag in excitement.

If anyone was looking on, they wouldn't be able to tell her emotion though. Her face usually remains fairly neutral.

She is really excited though. She'll finally be able to make friends. At least she hopes. Her dad homeschooled her with a private tutor when he couldn't be there.

She was also glad about the school uniform. It wasn't jeans. Tamiko loves her dad, but she really hates jeans. She really doesn't understand how a person can wear a bodysuit made of jeans. Uncomfortable. Best Jeanist is a fashion icon though, so not everything is about jeans. The only time Tamiko really sees him in jeans is as a hero. Jeans aren't even his favorite fabric, but he likes giving her clothes that are made of jeans.

Tamiko shakes out of her thoughts as she finds the door for 1A.

Her head tilts all the way back to find the top of the door. "Whoa."

"You just gonna fucking stand there or are ya gonna go in?" a gruff voices huffs. "I don't have all fucking day."

She turns to the boy behind her with a blank look. "You kiss your mom with that mouth?"

"I don't kiss that nasty hag!"

Tamiko hums. "That explains a lot." She then walks into the room with him yelling at her from behind.

"Stop ignoring me, you damn extra!"

"Why should I listen if you're just going to yell?" she sits in the front row next to the window, and the loud blond sits behind her. "And I'm going to have to ignore it all year too it seems."

"What did you say?!"

"That you're loud, and I'm not listening," she simply responds.

He scoffs, kicking his feet up on his desk and earning a gasp from across the room. He's about to reply, but his attention is drawn elsewhere.

"Take your feet off of that desk now!"

"Huuuh?" the blond grins, smugly looking up at the boy.

"It's the first day, and you're already disrespecting this academy by scuffing school property, you cretin!"

"You're kidding me right?" loud boy scoffs amused. "Your old school put a stick up your ass or were you born with it?"

Tamiko ignores the two and looks to her seat mate beside her to find a large white haired male. It's as if he feels her gaze and turns to her.

"I like your arms," she says when they make eye contact. Two arms sprout from either side of her to match the amount that he has. "I can do that too."

His eyes widen for a split second, watching her move them before they vanish. "Cool."

She nods. "Can I measure you?"

His eyebrows furrow in confusion. "Uh..."

He's interrupted by a yellow caterpillar man who introduces himself as 1A's teacher, Aizawa Shota. He sucks down a juice bag and unzips himself, pulling out a gym uniform.

Everyone ends up heading to the locker rooms to change into said clothes.

Tamiko faces all the girls in the locker rooms. "Excuse me." They all look at her. "I'm going to get all of your measurements."

"What? No! Why?!" the purple haired girl says with disgust.

"It's part of my quirk," Tamiko explains. "It will only take a few seconds."

"Okay! That way when Christmas or my birthday comes around, you can buy me cute clothes," the pink girl grins, bouncing up to Tamiko.

"I can get free clothes from Best Jeanist's line, so I can do that," Tamiko nods.

"What?! No way! You're so lucky!" she whines. "I'm Ashido Mina, by the way." She holds her arms out. "I'm ready!"

Tamiko nods, pulling out a tape measure. She done in a few seconds. "Who's next?"

Mina blinks. "Whoa! I didn't even see you do anything!"

The other girls somewhat reluctantly get their measurements, led on by the free clothes. Tamiko gives everyone a paper with their measurements, so they could get the perfect clothes for themselves when needed.

All the students arrive at the field. Instead of going to orientation, they're going to do a quirk assessment test, according to their teacher.

"Here at UA, we're not tethered to tradition. That means I get to run my class however I see fit," Aizawa says. "You've been taking standardized tests for most of your lives, but you never got to use your quirks in physical exams before. The country's still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational. One day the Ministry of Education will learn. Bakugo, you managed to get the most points in the entrance exam. What was your farthest distance throw with a baseball when you were in junior high?"

"67 meters," Bakugo answers.

"Alright, try doing it with your quirk."

He heads to the circle and does. The force of the blow creates circles of air as it soars through the sky, pushing everyone on the ground back with a force of air.

"All of you need to know your maximum capabilities," Aizawa explains. "It's the most rational way of figuring out your potential as a pro hero."

He shows everyone Bakugo's score. 705.2 meters.

Everyone gasps in surprise.

"Whoa! 705 meters?! Are you kidding me?" a blond with a black lightning bolt like streak comments.

"I wanna go! That looks like fun!" Mina cheers.

"This is what I'm talking about! We get to use our quirks as much as we want!" a boy with weird elbows comments.

"So this looks fun, huh?" Aizawa grunts. "You have three years here to become a hero. You think it's gonna be games and play time?" He grins. "Idiots. Today you'll compete in 8 physical tests to gauge your potential. Whoever comes in last has none and will be expelled immediately."

Everyone begins to complain how that isn't fair. Aizawa shoots them down and off they go to do the rest of the tests.

Test 1 is the 50 meter dash. The Iida boy obviously won that as he has a speed quirk. Bakugo got 4.13 seconds. Tamiko got 4.20 seconds. Midoriya got a measly 7.02. Though he wasn't the worst, some short purple dude got 10 seconds.

Test 2 was grip strength. Tamiko cloned out a bunch of muscled arms and got 706.7kg. The tall dude with the many arms got second with 540kg.

Test 3: Standing long jump. Tamiko clears the sandbox by making a bunch of legs stack on top of each other and walking over it.

Test 4: Repeated side steps. Tamiko got an average score on that. The little purple dude got the top score for that.

Test 5: Ball throw. Brunette girl wowed everyone by getting infinity as her score. That's just how her quirk works though.

So Tamiko decided to do the same.

"Hakamada, you're up," Aizawa calls out, tossing the ball to her.

Tamiko catches it as she walks up to the center ring. She holds the ball in one hand while holding out the other and letting brown goop drip out of it. The goop forms into a person.

Now the brunette girl with the infinity quirk is standing beside Tamiko.

Everyone gasps, looking back and forth between the 'twins.'

"Whoa! That's so cool!"

Tamiko hands the ball to the clone, and the clone tosses. She ends up with the same score. Infinity. Then the clone vanishes.

Everyone ends up taking it and the last up is Izuku.

"If Midoriya doesn't shape up soon, he's gonna be going home," Iida says.

Bakugo turns to him with an annoyed glare. "Huh? Of course he is! He's a quirkless loser!"

"Uh? He has a quirk!" Iida claims. "Did you not hear about what he did in the entrance exam?"

"Huh?"

Izuku moves to throw the ball and throws. It doesn't make it very far.

Aizawa stomps over towards the boy with his hair straight up and scarf swirling around him. "I erased your quirk," Aizawa speaks up. "The judges for this exam were not rational enough. Someone like you should never be allowed to enroll at this school."

"Wait, you did what to my—Uh–wah! Those goggles! I know you! You can look at someone and cancel out their powers! The Eraser hero: Eraserhead!"

"Eraser? Who's that?" the red head voices.

Everyone begins to murmur as Aizawa continues to talk to Izuku, but now nobody can hear them. His scarf captures Izuku and drawls him to him. Aizawa then releases his hold, his look returning to normal and walking off.

"I wonder if our teacher gave him some advice?" Iida wonders.

"He probably told him to start packing," Bakugo says.

It's a few seconds before Izuku decides to throw the ball. "Smaaaaash!"

Everyone gasps in awe as the harsh drawbacked blow washes over them. They see the result from Aizawa. 705.3 meters.

"He threw it over 700 meters!" lightning bolt shouts.

"Whoa," Tamiko mumbles.

"Nice! He's finally showing us his true power!" brunette cheers.

"His finger appears to be broken now," Iida says. "Just like in the exam. His quirk is very odd."

"It wasn't a very pretty throw."

Bakugo is frozen in shock and anger with his mouth wide open. His palms begin to emit small explosions.

"Hey!" he angrily shouts, rushing towards Izuku. "Deku you bastard! Tell me how you did that, or you're dead!"

"Seriously, take a chill pill..." Tamiko mumbles.

Before he can reach him though, he's snagged back by Aizawa's scarf with his quirk erased.

"What?! Why the hell is your damn scarf... so strong?!" Bakugo grunts out.

"Because it's a capture weapon made out of carbon fiber and a special alloy. Stand down. It'd be wise to avoid making me use my quirk so much. It give me serious dry eye." He drops the bindings as he sees the boy calmed down.

Izuku stares at him and slowly shuffles around him before running off.

The other tests were distance run, seated toe touch, and situps.

Everyone gathers together to see their rank. Ponytail girl somehow ends up number one. Half hair number 2. Tamiko ends up number three. Bakugo gets 4th. Izuku gets dead last which was to be expected.

"Aaand I was lying,"  Aizawa says, turning off the results. "No one's going home." He grins sadistically. "That was just a rational deception to make sure you gave it your all in the tests."

"Whaaaat?!" everyone shouts.

"I'm surprised the rest of you didn't figure that out. I'm sorry, I guess I probably should've said something," ponytail admits.

"That was pretty nerve wracking, huh?" weird elbows says.

"Nah, I'm always down for a challenge," red hair responds with an eagerly raised fist.

"That's it, we're done for the day," Aizawa says, walking off. "Pick up a syllabus in the classroom. Read it over before tomorrow morning."

~~~
After school comes quick, and students begin to leave.
Tamiko got a text from her father that one of his sidekicks is picking her up. Flektor is his name. He wears sunglasses as it helps with his quirk. He has some kind of light reflective quirk.
Tamiko didn't really care to know how his quirk worked. She doesn't really care for any of her dad's pathetic sidekicks. She doesn't even understand why he has all these weak sidekicks. The only reason she can think is because they listen like good little laps dogs to their master.
"Hey! Hey! Wait up!"
She ignores the voice, figuring it was for someone else. A hand is clamped on her shoulder. She looks at the perpetrator and finds a blond boy with a black streak. "Do I know you?"
"Well, we are in the same class!" he says matter of factly. "I'm Kaminari Denki! What's your name?"
"Tamiko."
He tilts his head. "Just your first name?"
"Hakamada-sama!"
Tamiko turns to the voice to find Flektor waving at her from the fancy car he's picking her up with.
"Ah, so you're a rich kid, huh? Last name's Hakamada," Kaminari grins.
"Don't call me Hakamada," Tamiko says.
"Okay. Only if you call me Denki," he replies.
She rolls her eyes. "Fine. What did you want?"
"Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself," he winks. "Your quirk is super cool. You can make other people?"
"I can make clones of people or things or parts," she explains. "Just gotta know the measurements."
"Oh then measure me, so I can be on your line up like you did with infinity girl!"
She nods, pulling out a tape measure from nowhere and easily getting his measurements. She writes them down and hands him them. "Here you go."
"That was fast. Didn't even notice you do it really," he says, taking the paper. "Don't you need these though?"
"No. Already memorized. That's for you."
"Cool! Thanks then."
"Hakamada-sama! Your father is expecting you," Flektor interrupts again.
Tamiko sighs, turning to the sidekick. "Bye, Denki."
She doesn't notice the explosion of red on the boy's face she leaves behind. He didn't think she'd actually call him Denki.
"B-Bye, Tam-Tamiko!"
Flektor opens the door for her, closing it behind her and getting in the driver's seat. "Good day?"
She shrugs as her answer before leaning against the window, playing on her phone.
~~~

"How was your first day of school?" Tsunagu asks as she enters his office.

"Lots of colors," she honestly answers as she moves over to the little desk he got for her. It's up near his just against the wall.

He chuckles. "That a good difference?"

She nods, dumping her things onto the desk before sitting in the spinny chair for it. "Yeah."

"You seem happy," he nods, amusedly watching her spin in her chair. "I'm glad. I've been worried all day."

"You worry about me too much," she deadpans, pulling out her phone while still spinning.

"I'm your dad. It's obligatory that I do."

"Yeah, yeah."
