However around his friends and lover, he's the sweetest boy in the world and would never talk bad about them. Melissa and Daniel Sharpe seemed like the perfect couple, they were in love, married and happy. For a while they had been talking about the possibility of having a child and after more planning, they decided to try for a baby.

The first few tries weren't successful but after another two attempts, Melissa found out she was pregnant. She was happy and her husband was happy as well. They couldn't wait to be parents. As the months passed, Melissa went to each ultrasound smiling at how well her baby was growing and she was happy when she found out the baby was a boy.

She told her husband and boy was he overjoyed. He was going to have a son. She started thinking of a name for her baby. One day she went to the train station to catch a train to port shepstone to visit her mother when she saw the name of the train. The "Riley Express". She felt light movement in her belly when she touched the gold sign on the train and she knew that was the name for her little one.

Melissa went into labor when she was only
6 months pregnant, she was 3 months early. The labor lasted an hour and when Riley was born, he showed no signs of life. He was still, he never moved or cried. He wasn't breathing. He was lifeless. The doctors declared Riley stillborn.

This broke his parents hearts. Melissa held Riley against her chest, saying her final goodbye to her baby before they would take him to the morgue when something shocking happened. Riley began to move. He let out a tiny gasp, slightly raising his tiny head and moving his tiny hands then he began to cry.

Melissa had tears sliding down her cheeks. It was a miracle.. Her baby was alive. Her baby was moving and breathing. He was full of life. His father was gripping his Hair and taking deep breaths while saying "thank God" over and over

Riley was able to leave the hospital after a few months and for a while everything was okay. However having a baby was hard work for his parents, especially his father who already had mental issues. His father also had anger issues and lashed out alot. When Riley was a year old, his parents got divorced and Riley had to stay with his mother since she had full custody of him and this pissed his dad off.

When Riley was 2 years old, he was sitting on the swing in the yard swinging when his father showed up, picked him up and left. His mother was in the kitchen when she saw that happen and she rushed outside to get her son back but her ex husband was gone. Distraught she called the police and filed a kidnapping report.

The police officers responded immediately and began their search for Riley. "Kidnapped Child" posters were put up. People provided many leads but most were dead ends. Rileys father in the meantime had taken riley to his house and locked him in the basement. His father kept him locked in the basement away from the outside world. He neglected him and abused him as well. He also locked him up in the small crawlspace in the backroom when he misbehaved. He tried to drown him twice out of anger as well.

Riley was finally rescued after a neighbor saw him knocking on the window and making the hand signal for help. He was 10 years old by then which means he had been his father's prisoner for 8 years. After he was reunited with his mother, his father was arrested and charged with child endangerment, kidnapping and abuse.

Riley refused to talk for months but eventually he did but never told what happened. He only said that his papa did bad things to him. Riley due to trauma had also developed claustrophobia, a fear of thunderstorms and a phobia of water.

Riley was able to ease back into normality after counseling and he was happy again. He grew up under the guidence of his mother and was able to go to school. He excelled in his classes. He kept away from people and kept to himself.

Riley grew from a young boy into an adorable and handsome teenage boy. He developed his own style and personality and had a loving nature. When he was 16 his little sister Abby was born. He absolutely adored her. Sadly his mother passed away right after abby was born due to complications relating to the birth.

Riley was left to raise his little sister alone. He became a mother and father to her but since he wasn't of legal age, he was put in the foster care system along with his sister. Him and his sister bounced from foster home to foster home until his grandmother who had moved to a home nearby adopted them. Riley developed a love for music and singing and his grandmother called him "melody" because of his love for singing.

Riley was also in highschool so he balanced that with looking after his sister. So him and his sister had a very strong bond. At school Riley was bullied alot but he made friends with a boy named leondre, another boy named Blair and a third boy named Mason. He became best friends with leondre, Blair and Mason. Eventually Riley and Mason fell in love and began to date. They went from friends to boyfriends. Riley was happy as ever

He's now 20 years old and he's still dating Mason. He's still best friends with leondre and Blair as well. Riley is also now a popular YouTuber, voice actor, actor and singer. His YouTube channel is called "PastelMelody" and he posts fun skits, Vlogs and even Asmr videos. His channel has over a million subscribers and is very popular. His little sister Abby now 4 years old, is featured in his videos alot and like her brother, has captured hearts with her adorable smile.

He's very happy now and even tho he had a traumatic childhood, he never let it stop him from living his life and becoming the strong man his mother always knew he'd be.
