Bryce swallows harshly as she rolls the bottle in her hand, the deafening sound of pills ratting stings the air. She stares at the metal sink mindlessly, her cracked, dry lips rubbing together.

She doesn't dare to raise her head, not wanting to stare at her paled skin and matted mess of hair. It was better not to look she always tells herself. You'll be disgusted with what you see.

You'll think you look crazy-

You are!

She squeezes her eyes shut, praying for silence to fill her head once again. She can't stand the thoughts that plague her mind, a thousand of them screaming at her all at once.

It was too much.

That's what she told them. Her parents, the doctors, her therapist.

It was all just too much...
