SATURDAY, JANUARY 14th 1978
I jolt awake from my nightmare, my body shining with sweat and tears running down my face.
"You're okay, Angel" Mallory's soothing voice assures me as Pandora strokes my hair.
"It's safe with us" Pandora tells me.
Bile rises up the back of my throat and I lurch forward out of their hold, scrambling out of bed and racing towards the bathroom. My knees hit the tiled floor and I stick my head in the toilet pan, bringing up the full contents of my stomach- which isn't very much in all honesty.
My hair is pulled back out of my face and I feel my back being rubbed as I heave and retch loudly, tears pouring down my face.
"That's it. Get it all out" Mallory encourages me, patting my back.
I choke up the last of the acid like bile and sit back on my feet with a shaky exhale as Pandora ties my hair back with a hair tie, handing me a damp face cloth. I wipe the sweat, tears and sick from my face with a grimace and take a deep breath.
"Feeling better now?" The blonde asks me.
"A little" I nod slightly, a banging sensation hurting my head "Thank you"
"That's what friends are for" Mallory smiles softly.
"Are you for real?" I hear a groan and I turn my head to see Alecto at the bathroom door "This is the third time this week"
"Why don't you try finding a dead body? Then we'll talk" Mallory spits at the ginger girl.
"Are you sure you're not knocked up?" Alecto scoffs, leaning on the doorframe with her arms crossed over her chest.
"I'm sure, Carrow" I retort, rolling my eyes at the thought.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night" She sings unconvincingly.
"Oh, piss off. Will you?" Pandora huffs out in annoyance.
The ginger holds her hands up in mock surrender and shoots us a sarcastic smile before walking away, leaving us alone for the time being.
"Angel, do you think maybe-" I cut the raven haired girl off, knowing exactly what she's about to say.
"Absolutely not" I snap.
"But-" I now cut Pandora off.
"I am not bloody pregnant" I declare sternly.
"How can you be sure?" Mallory questions.
"I can't be, Mal. I simply can't" I state, refusing to talk about the situation further.

Pandora and I sit in the Slytherin stands as our friends fly around on their brooms, playing quidditch.
Today is the Slytherin versus Ravenclaw match and at this very moment, Slytherin are in the lead.
"The quaffle is in the possession of Belovna as she soars down the pitch, aiming and scoring with ease. Better luck next time, Faing!" Alice comments "In other news, word is that Belovna and Rosier are engaged. Congratulations, you two!"
Evan and Mallory both smile and wave at the Gryffindor who winks at them playfully, shooting them finger guns.
"Oh, the seekers have spotted the snitch!" Alice abruptly gasps "Black and Todd are both neck and neck with each other, right on the snitches tail. Wait, snitches don't have tails, do they?"
"Anyhow, while we're talking about engagements, it's only fair to mention Black and Malfoy. A big surprise for some and expected by others, but I surely didn't see it coming" Alice rambles and my heart drops as I listen to her bubbly voice "I mean, rumour was that Malfoy was dating Lupin and now she's engaged to Black? That's gotta be awkward!"
Professor McGonagall lets out a frustrated huff and I watch as she visibly scolds the girl with an angry scowl that I rarely see on the woman.
"My apologies, ladies and gents! This just in, we are actually at a quidditch match and not a gossip session" Alice laughs sheepishly "I've been warned to keep my comments strictly quidditch related, so that's enough gossip from me today"
"Oh, would you look at that. Black has caught the snitch!" The brunette announces "Slytherin wins their second match and is officially in the lead, Hufflepuff coming in second after their win back in November"
I don't even listen to the rest of the girl's rant as I get up and leave Pandora with Rabastan, needing to get away from the prying eyes of people with too many questions.
As I'm speed walking through the grounds towards the school, I can feel someone following me but I pay them no attention. That is, until my arm is grabbed in the courtyard and I spin around to see Remus staring at me with a pleading look.
"Talk to me, cub" He begs.
"I'm not your cub anymore, Remus" I snap at him "I'm getting married to someone else"
"I don't care. I just need to speak with you" He replies.
"I can't talk to you" I shake my head.
"Why, because your lunatic family has forced you into some kind of arranged marriage or because you're too scared to fight for us?" He demands an answer.
"There is no us!" I shout at him and my heart shatters at the hurt expression on his face.
"You don't mean that" He argues weakly.
"I do" I lie through my teeth.
"Cub, please" He pleads.
"What do I have to say or do to drill this into your thick skull? We can't be talking right now" I stress to him, glancing around to make sure no one is looking at us.
"I can't just walk away from you and never look back" He retorts, getting frustrated "You are all I fucking think about!"
"How can I make you hate me? This will be so much easier for you if you just hate me" I breathe out shakily, running my fingers through my messy curls.
"Nothing you do will ever make me hate you" He declares.
"You're making this so hard to let you go, Rem" I state, my voice cracking.
"Then don't let me go" He counters as I hear voices of people returning from the match.
"I have to" I choke out "I'm so sorry"
