Manik had entered their room with a tensed face. He saw Nandini lying down on the bed with her hand on hed face.

"Tumhe bhabhi se aise baat nahi jarni chahiye thi Nandini."

Listening him she gave him a shocked expression with a surprised as well.

"What do you mean?" She asked sitting on the bed Manik sighed and settled beside her.

"I'm saying you shouldn't have said those words. Already ghar mein itni problems hai tumhare aise baat karne se baat aur bigad sakti hai." He trief explaining her where as it only made her give him disbelief look.

"Seriously Manik? Aap chahte ho ki main unki behuda baatein sunti rahun aur kuch na kahun? Sorry to burst your bubble Manik, I can't stand anyone disrespecting my parents." She said sternly making close his eyes in frustration.

"Even I'm not stopping you. But for time being just be quiet. I'm already tensed about the situation at home. I can't let my brother leave this house which will eventually break this family." The emotion that he was facinh he couldn't explain to Nandini and Nandini couldn't understand how to explain him her point.

"Manik, the family you are talking about na I'm also part of it. Just because the relation I have with all you doesn't give anyone of you the right to disrespect my parents. I will never appreciate it. And you are talking about breaking of this family? Well, I would like to burst your bubble, jaisa aapko lagta hai na ki sab theek ho jayega vaisa hi mujhe lagta hai ki sab bigad jayega." She said making frown at her words.

He really thought that is she indicatibg to let go off the matter? Does that really mean to her words?

"What do you mean? Aise hi sab bikharne dun sab kuch? Haan? Aur maine kahan tumhare parents ko disrespect kiya hai? It was bhabhi who did it not me that you are saying like this. Do even realise what your words are indicating me?"

He said and from his voice literally anyone could make out that he was angry now. She sighed and looked away. Seeing her silence he shook his head in disbelief.

"It's better I keep my mouth shut. Varna kuch aisa bol dunga ki baad mein main khud pachtaunga." Saying so he left from there.

"Shit! I shouldn't have said that." She said slapping her lips lighting. She said everything in a heat of moment which she is regretting it.

Evening

Nandini came inside with the dry clothes which were put on terrace. She didn't see Manik since morning after their slight arugment and nobody in the house was talking. Nandini and Sneha were not even looking at each other.

"Nandini, jara upar jaa ke Sneha ko bula do." Neonika said to which she gave her a look of 'you know'.

"Mujhe pata hai you are not talking to her but please just have a glance on her atleast she hasn't come out of the room since morning."

Nandini nodded and went to call her, she as soon as she entered her eyes widened seeing her lying down on the floor. She immediately ran to her and patted her cheeks.

"Bhabhi? Bhabhi? Please open your eyes!" Nandini took water from the jar and sprinkled on her face where as Neonika listening her panicked voice she came up only get surprised.

"Ise kya hua?"

"I don't know ma." Finally Sneha opened her eyes and saw blinked her eyes for few seconds and looked at them.

"You are fine na bhabhi? How did you fall on the floor? Kahin lagi toh nahi na?" Nandini asked checking her head to which she shook her head.

"I'm fine. Aap log jao. I'll handle myself." Listening her words Nandini huffed and tried to help her but she refused making her shake her head and went out.

Manik entered the house and looked at Nandini who was coming out of Sneha's room making hik frown.

"Tum bhabhi ke room mein kya kar rahi thi?" He asked her.

"Kuch nahi, she fainted toh bas help karne gayi thi. Don't worry I'm not stupid to have another fight with her." Listening her answer he sighed but asked worriedly.

"Kya hua unko? She is fine na? Aur behosh kaisi ho gayi woh?"

"Mujhe nahi pata. Vikram bhaiya ko bol dijiye zara apni biwi oar dhyan rakhe. Kal toh agar ghar koi na raha aur aisa kuch ho gaya toh pata nahi kya hoga." Saying so she went to her room.

Manik for the first time felt Nandini's behaviour to be rude towards him making him all the more angry at her. He shooing away the thoughts went to meet his bhabhi but to his bad luck she was not opening the door.

He went back to his room but gave cold shoulder to Nandini. She kept the towel on the bed for him which he usually takes down after changing into regular clothes.

But instead of taking the towel which she had kept he took a new one and went down. She sighed and settled on the bed to get some sleep. She knew she will not have any appetite for dinner.

During dinner

Manik, his dad, mother and dadi were sitting to have food in the hall where as Vikram and Sneha were in their room only having their dinner.

"Manik Nandini?" His father asked seeing her absent.

"Use jab bhukh hogi toh kha legi." Saying so he had 1 roti where as the family members let the matter be like that only they knew it's better to not to interfere.

He went back to his room and moved towards the cupboard and stood infront of the mirror where he could see Nandini's relfection in it. While staring at her back he pulled off his shirt and later moved towards Nandini to check if she is awake.

"Nandini, get up and have your dinner. I don't want you to later complain that I don't look after you." He informed her but he received no respone from her.

"Theek hai. So jao." Saying so he angrily went to sleep beside her. Here Nandini who was awake opened her eyes and stared at the window which was open.

Nandini's POV

For the first time I'm feeling like someone is stabbing my soul. I know I shouldn't have said that but.... First it was dadi who used to comment on me and now bhabhi as well.

Just because you are disappointed doesn't mean you are supposed to pit blame on parents. Just because I'm new here they can't keep talking to me like this.

Even I agree whatever I said him it was not appropriate instead of being his support system I became a thorn in the fight. And out of nowhere we are fighting now.

Itna bhi kya gussa hona? It's better if I don't interfere from now on. I don't want anyone to accuse me or my family.

No doubt from start Manik has supported me but today I became the reason of his anger. And for the first time I'm scared I'm acared that I might lose up and dig my own grave.

It's already 2 in the morning. I better sleep need to get up early and anyways my college starts the day after tomorrow.

End of POV

The next morning rolled up and inspite of sleeping late Nandini got up early and went in the kitchen to make breakfast.

She prepared special coffee for Manik and his favourite breakfast. She knew everyone will have that only so she made extra. By the time she was done everyone came out of their room. Sneha silently went to the kitchen and started preparing for her's and her husband's breakfast making Nandini sad. She had already offered them the breakfast but they refused.

"Nandini, serve kardo. Main chai leke aati hun." Saying so Neonika went inside into the kitchen. Nandini served everyone when it was turn of Manik she kept his coffee infront of him to get his attention which she got as Manik caught the paper which says I'm sorry.

He looked at her who was making a cute face which no one could resist. He sighed and gave her a small smile.

They had breakfast with a small chat, as soon as they were done Nandini said "Umm, maa I was thinking of visiting maa papa before my college. Can I go and come?"

"Jana jaruri hai kya?" Neonika asked to which Nandini understood the answer.

"It's okay, I'll meet them some other time." She said and took the used utensils inside to wash them.

"Neonika, jaane do use. Mil kar aa jayegi." Listening dadi saying this everyone were surprised. They knew how much she hated whenever Sneha said of visiting the parents but now she was allowing Nandini.

"Ji."  Nandini came out and Neonika informed her to go and come she smiled brightly making everyone chuckle.

MaNan were in their room when Manik asked

"Jana zaruri hai?"

"Kyun? Na jaun?" She asked to which he shook his head and said

"Nahi, tum ja ke aao. It's just that, I can't drop you today. I need to be  in panchayat today."

Nandini understood now why her mother-in-law said for her not to go today. She nodded and kept the comb down which she was holding.

"Manik, I'm there and standing with you always. Kal ke liye I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that, it's just when told me to keep quiet I thought you meant me to always keeo quiet. And I was still in zone what bhabhi said."

"Shh! Relax. I understand, and I'm never stopping you ever from voicing out your opinion." He pecked her head and hugged her tightly only to melt her in his warmth.
