Arya told everything to Hermione, and she was happy and supportive towards the situationship. Fred really made her happy, but the two of them didn't know if he behaved like this because deep down he could feel something, or he simply created a peaceful situation to go beyond kisses and experience stuff with Arya, without romantic commitment, as he said at the beginning.
"Our lips connect perfectly, Herm, as if they were made for each other"

Weeks were filled with lessons in transfiguration, potions, care of magical creatures, herbology, DADA, divination and Quidditch training and matches, but everyone waited with anxiety and trepidation to know who would participate in the tournament.

Once, they all were sat at the dining table. Hermione didn't eat and Ron looked at her, rolling his eyes.
"I know what you are doing but the hunger strike will not help save the elves"
Hermione glared at him.
"How do you know? Right now you are eating food that poor elves prepared non stop, maybe underpaid! It's important for us to stand up for those who are oppressed and treated unfairly"
Arya patted her friend's back, understanding.
Hermione decided to join a good cause and save house elves, and Arya admired her.
Fred and George laughed, always teasing her for the campaign.
"Herm, tell us more, would you?" Asked Ary with a smile, being the good friend she was.
Hermione's eyes lit up and Fred knew what Ary did. She was so kind and he loved that side of her, she was always ready to stand by her friend's side.
"Oh, where do I even begin? Well, first of all, we've been working on raising awareness about the mistreatment of house elves in wizarding society. They are often forced to work long hours without pay and are not treated as equals. Our goal is to change this and create a more equal and fair environment for them. We've also been petitioning for better working conditions and wages for elves. It's an ongoing effort, but with determination and support from everyone, I believe we can make a difference" Said Hermione proud.
Arya nodded.
"I appreciate how passionate you are. I believe everyone should be treated with kindness and respect, no matter their background or species. I hope we can make a difference and bring about a change in society's mindset towards elves. Right guys?" Asked Arya looking at Ron, who was eating like if he was starving.
Fred was looking at her in awe, he could listen to her motivational and kindness-filled speeches for hours, but Dumbledore spoke.

All the dishes disappeared from the table, it was time to announce who will pursue the tournament. The lights dim, creating an atmosphere of mystery.
"Silence"
Everyone was silent.
Dumbledore approached the goblet of fire and after a red flame, he took a piece of paper in his hands.
"The Durmstrang champion will be Viktor Krum"
Everyone cheered, then it was quiet again.
"For Beauxbatons, Fleur Delacour!"
"And for Hogwarts, Cedric Diggory!"
All the students were excited, but the Goblet was still choosing.
"Everybody be quiet!" Said the principal with another piece of paper in his hands.
"Harry Potter... Harry Potter!"
Harry couldn't believe it and tried to hid behind Arya, but the girl rolled her eyes.
"Harry, I said no more trouble for a year! Now go to Dumbledore and fix this problem!"

After a long discussion, the tournament would be held with four wizards this year, but whoever had put Harry's name in the goblet, definitely didn't want him alive, as said Sirius in a letter.
Was a frenetic month.
Harry argued with Ron, but then they made up.
The first test, apparently, was about dragons.
Hermione and Arya tried to help him, giving him as much information as possible.

Arya was full with homework, researches and books to study or just to read for personal interest.
Maybe Arya seemed good at everything, but like every person in the world, there was something that didn't fascinate her and didn't arouse enthusiasm in her. Quidditch and flying.
"There are other ways to get around using magic, and I don't see what's good about a sport that could kill you" Always said.
She didn't know why people found this topic so interesting, and unfortunately for her, the boy she liked was a fan of it all. But Arya didn't give up, she picked up a few books about Quidditch and the art of flying and dove into reading, day and night. She hoped to find something interesting and finally be able to talk to Fred like he did with Angelina.

All the Gryffindor walked towards the Quidditch pitch, Fred and Angelina were talking about how to win the match against Hufflepuff, then he whispered something in her ear, making Angelina laugh.
Hermione and Arya were behind them and the girl felt a pang in her chest.
"Why is she laughing like an old goose? What's so funny?"
Hermione giggled at her friend's sentence.
"They are in the same team"
"What if they... You know... He kissed her, and went further..."
Hermione patted her shoulder.
"I guess we will never know, but don't compare yourself to other girls, follow your time, step by step. Fred said the same thing, right?"
"I know but... I don't like being one of the many..." Said with a sigh.
"Ary, Fred was clear. He wanted a situationship, you can't pretend a relationship or ask him to change. If it makes you uncomfortable, just stop"
Arya looked at the boy, maybe her friend was right.
"I know but... I don't know how to explain it. It looks like he isn't acting, but he really feels something. When we are together, we are both happy and safe, I don't want to give up these moments. I never felt like this with no one, not even with Harry. Fred was able to make me feel stuff in a month that I never felt with Harry in two years"
"You are so sweet Ary"
"I know he doesn't want a relationship right now, but I will wait for him" Said proud of herself.
Hermione sighed, she didn't want her friend to be hurt, and hoped Fred had something real for her too.

Harry ended the game by getting the golden snitch, but Arya didn't understand much, she just screamed with enthusiasm every time Fred and George hit the ball, coming out alive.

That night was special. Harry had passed the first test, the one with the dragon, brilliantly, thanks to his friends and the help of Professor Moody.
There were fewer pins against Harry in circulation at school and no one made fun of him anymore when they saw him walking in the corridor.

That evening, all the Gryffindors decided to organize a party to celebrate him, with laughter and jokes.
Arya was walking with Fred towards the common room. Hands full of food stolen from the kitchen and small fireworks bought by Zonko.
"This is going to be epic. I thought Harry was going to die" Said Fred feeding Arya a toffee.
The girl smiled.
"That dragon was amazing, but Harry was so clever"
"I wonder what there is inside the golden egg"
Arya agreed and yawned, entering the common room.
Fred raised an eyebrow.
"You look tired"
"I haven't been sleeping much lately, there are so many books that... I'm passionate about" Said thinking about a boring book about brooms.
"Really? You should sleep, and then you can tell me what are you reading!"
She smiled, then Harry entered the common room.

Everyone cheered for Harry, he just had a few cuts on his face and arms, that were carefully treated by Arya.

"Stop moving, I know it burns, but I'm almost done" Said Arya, dabbing the wound on the cheek with cotton.
Harry narrowed his eyes and blushed at her touch.
"Thanks, Ary. You are my favorite healer" Replied making the girl laugh.
"I guess this is nothing compared to what happens most of the time, do you remember that time you had to regrow your arm bones overnight?"
The golden trio and Arya started laughing in front of the fireplace.
A little further on, Fred and Lee were playing chess. Fred placed his cheek on his hand and snorted, as Lee concentrated.
"I have wounds from our Quidditch matches all the time" Said annoyed in a whisper.
George giggled and kissed his forehead.
"Don't worry mate, I'm your private healer" Replied his twin teasing him.

"You did great, Harry!"
The boy blushed and smiled at everyone.
"Thanks, guys!"
Lee grabbed the golden egg.
"It weighs a lot!" Exclaimed giving it back to Harry.
"Open it!"
The boy nodded and opened the egg.
It was empty, but the moment he opened it, a shrill moan invaded the room.
"Male it shut up!" Screamed Fred covering his ears.
Harry closed it.
"What was that?" Asked Finnigan
"It was like someone being tortured! Maybe you have to use an unforgivable curse" Said Neville, afraid at the thought.
George shook his head.
"It's illegal. It sounded more like Percy when he sings in the shower" Said Fred laughing with his twin.

Everyone talked about the egg, then continued to party as nothing happened.
"Would you like a jam tart, Herm?" Asked the older twin with a smirk.
Hermione raised an eyebrow, suspicious.
"Don't worry, everything is fine! I didn't use a spell on it! Just be careful with the one with cream" Said winking at Arya, who knew.
Neville est one and he became a parrot for a brief moment.
Hermione hated to admit it, but was starving.
"Fine, did you get all this stuff from the kitchens, Fred?" Asked eating for the first time after a long day.
"Sure" Fred replied with a smile, then let out a high-pitched squeak and imitated a house elf. "We will give you everything you want, sir, everything! They're frighteningly helpful... They'd cook me a roast ox if I said I was feeling a little hungry"
"How come you got in there?" Hermione asked in an innocent and casual tone.
"Easy" Fred replied.
"There is a door hidden behind a picture of a fruit basket. Just tickle the pear, and it starts laughing and..." He stopped and looked at her suspiciously, as Arya behind Herm imitated to make him understand to stop talking.
"Why?"
"Oh, nothing" She quickly replied.
"You want to try to organize a house-elf strike, right?" Said George.
"Did you decided to leave the leaflets and instigate them directly until the insurrection?" Several boys giggled but Hermione didn't answer.

Everyone went to their rooms after midnight, Arya sat in front of the fireplace and started reading. Her eyes were closing from tiredness, but she was determined to impress Fred, and also had to study new spells for transfiguration.
George looked at her before going to sleep.
"I don't think she is getting enough sleep"
Fred nodded, worried as his twin.
"Leave it to me, don't worry mate"
The redhead walked towards Arya.
"Ary?"
She looked up, tired.
"Fred?"
He giggled.
"Yep, it's me. Don't you see that you are too tired to read?"
"I don't think so, I want to finish this book... Then I have to study for transfiguration" Said yawning.
Fred sat next to her.
"You already know everything for your classes, let's go to sleep"
She shook her head and tried to read.
"Fred, words on the page are vibrating, stop with this prank"
"Darling, it's not a prank, it's your body telling you to stop" Said softly wrapping his arms around her.
"I forgot how to read"
"Ary... For Merlin, take a break"
She looked into his eyes.
"Please, read to me, Freddie?"
He blushed and stroked her hair.
"Love, you are exhausted... Fine, I'll read to you until you fall asleep"
Fred carried her to the sofa, making her lie in his arms. Then he took the book and was surprised to see it was about Quidditch, then smiled.
"Okay, so..."
And when he started reading, Arya fell asleep in his arms, Fred still caressing her hair and looking softly at her. He took a blanket and covered the two of them. The redhead was afraid to move and wake her up, so he just hugged her tight and slept with her.
Fred would never admit it, but he had never slept so well before.
