ELLIE, MINDY, Ethan, Chad, and Kirby were all sat in the police van while Sam and Tara were outside.

        "So we're really doing the phone tracing thing that never works in the movies." Mindy say while her leg was propped up on the table. "It'll be all, 'Keep him talking, Sam. Two more minutes, I've almost got him.' And then he hangs up just before we can get a lock."

        "I can trace a call in under fifteen seconds." Kirby told the Meeks-Martin girl simply.

        "Well, you've got them out there as bait."

"Because the killer usually calls from somewhere nearby."

"And you think they're safe because it's broad daylight in a public place?" Mindy sassed.

"Look, I am here, okay? And so is Bailey." Kirby responded.

"This is exactly how our Uncle Randy died." Mindy started making the others eye her. "Broad daylight. Publix place. Yanked into a van. Stab, stab, stab. No more Randy."

"Alrighty..." Ellie mumbled while laying her head on Ethan's shoulder. Ethan held the bag of cheetos towards Chad and Ellie resulting in the two giving him a look. "I can't believe you like the regular cheetos."

"I'm sorry I have a low spice tolerance." He said putting his free hand up in surrender.

Kirby and Sam talked to each other through the ear piece the was given to the Carpenter sisters and Ellie slightly closed her eyes, only listening.

When ghostfaces voice shot through the speaker of Kirby's laptop, Ellie picked up her head. "No Samatha, you're going to die. Choking on your own blood while I jack up your sister."

"Unless we find you first." Sam fumed.

Soon, ghostface hung up. The four in the van and the two outside hoping Kirby got his location.

"He's on the Upper West Side." Kirby told the group. "He's inside an apartment building, halfway across the city."

"On West 96th?" Ellie asked.

"How did you know that?" Kirby inquired because her computer was turned away from Ellie.

"Gale." Sam said.

Ellie stomach sank. She quickly got up, heading towards the door of the van. "Ellie, it's not safe out there." Ethan said, not wanting his girlfr — Ellie to get hurt.

"I can't let anything happen to her. I'll be alright." She told Ethan but it was towards everyone in the van.

Ellie ran out the van heading where she saw Sam, Tara and Wayne.

"My friend Danny work on the Upper West Side. He can get there quicker." Sam informed the other three while running.

"Yeah, or he could finish her off." Wayne said. "Is it possible he's the killer?"

"Fuck. We have to get there now."

"It's fifty blocks away. We don't even know if it's true."

Tara and Ellie ran faster, ahead of Wayne and Sam to the cop car registered under Wayne's name.

Tara and hopped in the back seat while Ellie sat in the drivers seat. "Sam!" Tara yelled while Ellie honked the horn. "Get in."

"Hey. Hey, get out of my car!" Wayne yelled at the three.

"Should we use the sirens?" Sam looked at the two girls with a small smirk on her face.

"Did you really think we'd steal a police car and not use the sirens?" Ellie smiled while pressing the button with turned on the flashing lights and a loud siren.

WHEN THE three arrived at Gales apartment, Sam shot the gun in his direction. Ellie saw the women on the floor, blood surrounding her. Tears were flowing from her eyes. "No." She mumbled. "Please, Gale. Fuck."

Tara and Sam made their way over to Gale and Ellie. Tara held onto the crying her whispering in her ear that it'll be okay.

"Oh, shit. Gale." Sam muttered throwing the gun in the floor.

"No." Ellie cried. "I'm sorry."

"It's my fault." Sam said, tears now filling her eyes. "I should've known that he was gonna come after you. I'm so sorry."

        "He didn't get me." Gale mumbled as the other three girl heard the sirens in the background. "Tell Sydney he never got me."

        "Gale?"

        "Gale, no." Ellie mumbled. "I can't — I can't lose you too." She looked at the older women who she'd accidentally called mom a few times when she was younger. "You're all I have left, please, Gale."

       "Gale!" Tara voiced as Gales eyes began to close.

        "Out of the way!" A lady said catch the three girl off guard. "Out of the way! Move.

        "You got to move. Move!" Tara pressed her sister and Ellie, grabbing their shoulders and hands to snatch them away from Gale.

        "No."

        "Get them back, please."

        "Sam! Ellie!"

        "They need to move now." One of the ladies working on Gale said.

        "Excuse me, please step back." Another said.

        "Got a weak pulse." When the words left her mouth, Ellie let out a sigh of relief. It may have been weak but it's their nonetheless.

        Later, Chad, Mindy, and Ethan made their way to the apartment complex. Sam sat by herself while Tara, Mindy, Chad, and Ellie sat on a couch near her. Ethan stood right next to Ellie, holding her hand.

        When they heard a man they all turned their heads and realized it was Danny. "Hey. Hey. I got here as fast as I could."

        "Did you?" Tara spoke up for the group as they were all looking at him suspiciously.

        "I'm scared, you guys." Mindy said. "I really don't want to get hurt again."

        "Neither do I." Chad agreed with his twin.

        "I don't want you getting hurt again, either."

        "I know. I know." Chad said, laying his hand on his sisters knee along with his head on his shoulder. When he heard Ellie sniffle, he grabbed her other hand and squeezed it lightly, making her look at him. "Gale's going to be alright." She weakly smiled at him and laid her head on Chad's shoulder once she saw Tara lay on Mindy's. "So what do we do now?"

        "Maybe he gets to win this time." Sam said, he voice breaking in the process. The other six looking at her like she was crazy. "He wants to punish me. Me. So maybe I let him. I'll just give myself up." She kept talking as the tears left her eyes. "If this is what I have to do to keep you safe," She said mainly looking at Tara. "it's worth it."

        "No, we're not doing that, Sam." Her sister said, standing up to talk to Sam. "Alright, you went back to Woodsboro to protect me. Every single day, you make the decision to protect me. None of us would even be alive if it weren't for you." Tara said signaling towards Chad, Mindy, and Ellie. "You have to let us protect you this time."

        Sam shook her head, "No." She breathed out.

        "Yes. We're a team, remember?"

        "Actually," Mindy started while standing up. "we're a family."

        "Let's go!" Chad said while standing up, making Ellie stand up in the process ultimately dropping both his and Ethan's hands. "Fantastic Five! Come on."

        "Fantastic Five." Ellie said, glancing at Chad."

        "You said it." He fake gasped.

        "Fantastic what?" Danny asked, extremely confused.

        "It's an us thing." Chad answered, his eyes not leaving Ellie's face, she wasn't even looking his way anymore.

        "He's gonna keep coming after us." Sam told her friends.

        "And we're going to beat the shit out of him." Ellie said.

        "Isn't there somewhere safe we could just hold up in?" Ethan asked.

        "No, he's just gonna keep finding us." Tara informed him, making Ethan let out a breathy 'great' "We could use that, though."
