❝ And that girl right next to Riley is Kennedy Thornton. She's the infamous kook princess that turns her nose up in disgust towards us pogues. She's worse than Sarah Cameron, she's believes she's better than everybody else and she acts like it. But for some reason everyone in OBX loves her. None of us pogues are a fan of her, which is such a surprise why Riley's her best friend. Riley says she's a genuinely good person, that she's just blinded by the people around her. But with the way she and her loser kook boyfriend try to make our lives a living hell says something different. And plus, Kie hates her for what she did to her last year and so we keep our distance. A lot of us don't like her, but JJ man...he's different, he despises her. We've always gotta keep an eye on them when they're in the same room. It feels like they're seconds away from fighting. Their feud is weird for OBX, randomly last August they started verbally harassing each other when they ran into each other, and everyday since then it's gotten worse. They don't hesitate to say the most hateful things to each other, as if they were trying to one up each other. It's not convenient for us, but we just put up with their hatred for each other because what can we do? But for some reason, I can't help but think they're hiding something, like a history they refuse to let anyone know about. But it doesn't matter, I doubt JJ or Kie will let us get to know Kennedy enough to find out the truth. ❞
