Susan opened the book. A small paper fell out and Susan picked it up, wondering what it could be.

It was folded, three times, just like Lucy had always folded her papers. Susan opened it and when she saw Lucy's handwriting her eyes teared up.

"Oh Lu", she choked.

Dear Susan,

It even was a letter. A letter to her.

Dear Susan,

I don't know when you will read this, but if I am in the room with you, please go somewhere else, where you are quiet. I want you to read this alone.
Do you remember Narnia? And Aslan?
How we used to go on rides with our horses?
How Peter and Edmund got into swordfights and Edmund won and Peter was offended?

It wasn't a game, it was real, Queen Susan was real, not just something we thought of. I mean, why would we have thought of something like that what happened when Rabadash wanted to marry you?

I know that you think that we made it up, but please, remember. It was such a beautiful time. And, oh, Aslan! Remember him! Remember the day he came back to life! The day he beat the witch! The day he crowned us.
Every time we hugged him!

Or how he forgave you when you hadn't wanted to see him, on our way to Caspian.

I'm sure he is waiting for you now, waiting for you to turn around and finally see him again. He would welcome you, I'm sure!

Please, please promise to me, and to yourself, that you will try to remember Narnia, remember Aslan, remember us.

Yours, Lucy ♡

Susan, by this point, had tears in her eyes.

Aslan?
Narnia?
Us?

And in secret in silence she promised her sister, that she would try to remember. Try to remember Narnia, try to remember Aslan and try to remember them.
