"Happy New Year!"
Lloyd and François went to Vagu to celebrate Christmas and New Year's. Beom made a Christmas speech and watched the fireworks from the balcony. The couple watched the fireworks from Lloyd's room. They both jumped from the sound, but the colors were nice to look at.
The second it hit twelve, they kissed and cried. It was their anniversary, two years of knowing each other, and the year they'll get married.
"Happy anniversary, my darling." François kissed his lips as he ruffled his hair.
The other was hugging his neck. "Happy anniversary, Franny."
Lloyd had to wear royal clothes, and the other had to wear a suit, but they both had their matching heart necklaces on. They had their rings on. They decided to announce their engagement later tonight before they went back to France tomorrow.

Lloyd woke up first and went to find François to bother. His father, of course, didn't allow them to share a bed since they got here. He still wasn't used to how big this place was. On his first day here, he got lost trying to find a bathroom. And to think this will be his anytime now!
He eventually found the room. It was gorgeous. It was a deep red bedroom with two huge windows that had golden curtains. To think this was only the guest room. The bed was stupid big. Back at home, they share a twin bed. They like to sleep on top of each other or spoon. It was just the perfect size for them. But here, François had a whole queen size bed all to himself. He wasn't even tall either. He was only 5'5. (Yes I'm aware that's the average height for a female in the US but respectfully stfu)
He looked around the room. He didn't see François. He saw the messy maroon blankets on the bed and sighed. His parents had servants, but he didn't want to be messy. Besides, back in the war, the first thing he did every morning was make his bed. It helped him keep a bit of normalcy during that time. He went to touch the blanket and gasped when the blanket trapped him into a hug. He heard François' laughter before he popped his head out.
"Franny!" He was laughing as well as François kissed his blushing face. "Father wouldn't want us on this bed!"
"He isn't here, is he?"
"μΌλ§λ κ΅ννκ°!" He kissed his cheek. "Weren't you scared of him like a month ago?"
"He's cool now. He actually responds to my texts now." Lloyd couldn't help but chuckle at that one.
They got dressed together, gave each other testosterone and kisses, and picked out each other's suits. Lloyd wanted his man in pink, he looks so sexy in it, and François knew it too. He walked around like a diva, doing little twirls and backflips. He chose black for the one with white hair. He knew he felt the most comfortable in that color. He gave him a red tie, though. Red compliments his eyes.
"Here." Lloyd was giggling as he put bubblegum pink bows in the other's neat hair.
François grinned. "Here, then." He put a red bow in his hair. "How adorable!"
They went downstairs to greet his parents and have breakfast. François had the biggest culture shock when he first arrived a year ago. In France, breakfast wasn't the big meal of the day there. He mostly ate bread or fruit if he really felt like that. Since he grew up in the south of France, he wasn't used to the cold either. But here, things were much different. Breakfast was the most important meal of the day there. They usually ate meat, eggs, vegetables, or other protein. It was freezing here. He had to sleep with three thick blankets last night. He was used to it by now, but it still was surprising when he felt the cold air creeping in his room at night.
Marie was able to see them for a few minutes in the afternoon. Lloyd was all snuggled up on her lap, kissing her face and letting her kiss his cheeks. When she had to leave again, he got to be with François.
Before they got together, those two were adventurous. When he was in high school, François would sneak out to party or go out with his friends. He pulled all-nighters, drank unhealthy amounts of coffee, and had to be out doing something all the time. Lloyd was a good kid, but even he had a rebellious side to him. He would sneakily drink beer with Mulligan and go to after-school parties with his friends. He, too, pulled all-nighters and did stupid stuff at the parties. Once, he jumped off Charles' roof into the pool in order to impress a girl in middle school. That was a funny thing to explain to his parents when they saw the bruise on his arm the next day.
Now, both of them were old men trapped in a twenty and nineteen year old's body. They both work in the morning, stop in the evening, usually read or did something else relaxing, snuggled up together or had sex if they were up for it, then go to bed sometimes before the sun got to set. Right now, they were watching TV and cuddling with each other in François' room.
"I loveeee youuu..." Lloyd kissed his temple. "Soooo muchhhh!!!"
François stroked his hair. "I love you moree." They kissed each other, hugging each other's bodies. "Do you know what to say on TV?"
"I'm not doing all the talking, so I'll be good." He smiled, his head in the other's shoulder. "I'm so excited, I get to show you off."
"Good, I'm like a diamond." He kissed his head, blushing.

"Hello, I'm Prince Lloyd, of Wales. I wish the people of Vagu and all over the world a very happy new year. I have an announcement for you. If you may, allow me to introduce someone you may be familiar with, François Dauphiné."
François, who was sitting next to Lloyd in a chair, felt the light of the camera on his skin. "Hello, it's a pleasure to see you all again."
Lloyd looked at him and took his hand. They smiled at each other before looking at the camera. "He's my darling fiancΓ©. We've been dating for over a year now, and our wedding is on March 4th of this year."
"We would be honored to allow you to watch on your televisions. We are very grateful to share this wonderful part of our lives with you."
"Thank you again. Happy New Year to you all."
------------------------------
Mulligan was wailing when he saw the announcement. It wasn't fair! It should be him getting married to him. He knew they had something going on. When they were together, Lloyd wrote about him all the time.
This wasn't fair at all.
