After the ear had been broken, there was nothing to do but just hang around upstairs until the meeting was over. Rosalyn also caught up with Ginny, telling her about everything.

Finally, Molly called them all back down for dinner.

"We'll be eating down in the kitchen," She smiled widely at Rosalyn, who tried to look on slightly more annoyed in return.

And to make matters worse, Fred and George decided to apparate behind her at that moment. This had, apparently, been annoying Molly all summer, ever since the twins had passed their apparition tests.

"OH JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE ALLOWED TO USE MAGIC NOW DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE TO WHIP YOUR WANDS OUT FOR EVERYTHING!" She yelled at the top of her voice. Fred and George hurried into the kitchen. Rosalyn laughed accidentally, before she realised everyone was doing the same thing.

"Hi, mum," Ginny said, walking round Molly into the kitchen. Arthur joined his wife as Ron squeezed past them. Now only Harry, Hermione and Rosalyn remained.

"Now, are you both hungry?" Molly asked.

Harry nodded, Rosalyn did nothing.

"Are you sure you're alright, you two? You gave us quite a turn," Arthur said.

"I'm not really alright, I wish you'd-" Rosalyn said.

"We're fine," Harry cut across her.

Rosalyn sighed, looked at her brother mutinously, then attempted to push past Molly and Arthur.

"Rosalyn Potter."

Molly and Arthur separated this time, and there he stood. Sirius Black.

And she was beside him. Isabelle Black.

"Sirius! Izzy!" Rosalyn exclaimed, moving forward and being instantly engulfed in a hug with both her godparents.

"Lupin!" Harry said, hugging his own godfather, who was standing behind his old best friends.

As Rosalyn went through into the kitchen, Lupin caught her and said. "I hear that you've been, shall I put it, quite hard on most of the order."

"Yes," said Rosalyn unblushingly. "They deserve it."

"As your former teacher, Rosalyn, I know that you can be stubborn and quick tongued, but I don't think that they really-"

"They left me, and Harry, in the dark, for a month. We have been enslaved, bullied, and harassed this past month, and I was the one to see Voldemort come back! If it wasn't for me you wouldn't know anything!"

"I know, Rosalyn, but-"

"But what? But nothing! What did you think? 'Oh, why should Rosalyn know what's going on? She was only the one that told us everything and gave us all the goddamn information! Yeah, let's just treat her as though she's five and-' "

"That's not what-"

"Well it sure seems like it!"

"Rosalyn listen! We didn't want to keep you in the dark, Dumbledore told us-"

"Yeah I heard," said Rosalyn bitterly.

Lupin looked at her. "Look, you're angry. You know you're angry. I know you're angry. You can be angry. But don't take that anger out on anyone else, okay?"

"Ahhh, Moony, the true poet," came a sarcastic voice.

Rosalyn looked round with interest and a small smirk to see Izzy, coming to her goddaughter's aid.

"Scarlet, please do not undo all the work I've been doing," Lupin said, referring to Izzy by her old Maurauder name, like she did with him, before heading into the kitchen.

Izzy turned to Rosalyn, laying her hands on her shoulders. "Listen, kid, I see so much of myself in you, but believe me, what's happened has happened, and there's no point losing it over the bullshit everyone's going to make up."

Rosalyn sighed, suppressing a laugh. "Okay."

"Good," smiled Izzy. "Now, if you'd like to join me, I'm going to go and have a bit of dinner. Let's go see what Kreacher's been cooking."

Dinner turned out to be pretty fun. Tonks gave Ginny and Rosalyn a laugh, turning her nose into a pig snout then a duck beak. They all tucked into the amazing three course meal Kreacher had cooked up.

"Peculiar!" Arthur told Rosalyn after they had finished. "Seems like your hearing at the Ministry is to be before the entire Wizenagemot."

"But I don't understand what's the Ministry of Magic got against me?" Rosalyn asked.

This was followed by a silence that no one seemed willing to break.

Until Moody growled. "Show her. She'd find out soon enough."

Kingsley opened a newspaper and handed it to Rosalyn. On the front cover, Rosalyn saw a huge picture of herself with the caption THE GIRL WHO LIES?

Rosalyn looked at it in fury. By skim reading the article, she got the fact that the Ministry had been telling everyone that she had been spreading nasty rumours about seeing Voldemort come back. They were making her out to be an attention seeking prat that loved fame and wanted to keep it going.

"Of course, you can imagine how angry we were when we read it," Izzy said, a knowing look on her face, rolling her eyes.

"He's been attacking Dumbledore as well," Lupin said sourly as the newspaper headline changed. It now showed The Minister of Magic with the caption, FUDGE: "ALL IS WELL."

"Fudge is using his power, including his influence at the daily prophet to, smear anyone that claims the Dark Lord has returned," Sirius sighed.

"But why?" Rosalyn outburst angrily.

"The Minister thinks Dumbledore is after his job," Lupin answered briskly.

"But that's insane!" Harry said incredulously.

"Yes, it's the biggest load of bull anyone's heard," Izzy rolled her eyes.

Rosalyn joined in. "Yeah, no one in their right mind could believe that Dumbledore-"

"Exactly the point Fudge isn't in his right mind," said Lupin solemnly. "It's been twisted and warped, I fear."

There was a long pause, then Lupin spoke again. "Now, fear makes people do terrible things, Rosalyn. The last time Voldemort gained power he almost destroyed everything we hold most dear. Now he's returned, I'm afraid the Minister will do anything to avoid facing that terrible truth."

"We think Voldemort wants to build up his army again," Sirius suddenly interrupted, all eyes turned on him, sitting at the top of the table. "Fourteen years ago he had huge numbers at his command, and not just witches and wizards, but a number of other dark creatures as well."

Izzy nodded, taking over. "Now, he's been recruiting heavily and we've been attempting to do the same. But gathering followers isn't the only thing he's interested in.

"We believe Voldemort may be after something."

"Izzy," Moody growled in a warning tone, but Sirius took over from his wife and went on.

"Something he didn't have last time..."

"What, like, a weapon?" Rosalyn asked, getting into this now.

Sirius went to answer, but Molly took over.

"No! Stop! That's enough! She's just a girl!" She shouted, moving towards Sirius and Izzy from the other end of the table. She snatched the newspaper back from Rosalyn. "You say anything more and you might induct her into the order straight away!"

"Good, I want to join," said Rosalyn loudly. "If Voldemort's raising an army then I want to fight."

She leant back in her seat, smirking at Sirius and Izzy, who winked at her in return. Molly looked scandalised, and settled herself by telling off Ron and Ginny for sniggering into their plates at the other end of the table.

Rosalyn got up late the next morning and got dressed. Neither Hermione nor Ginny were in the room, so she figured they were downstairs. Rosalyn brushed her hair and plaited it before she hurried off the same way. Little did she know that there was another order member there's that had arrived early that morning.

"...Of course, Molly!" A voice said as Rosalyn entered the kitchen. Rosalyn recognised this person immediately, not because of the voice, but the clothes. Clothes she had seen on Professor Snape two years previously.

Augusta Longbottom stood in the kitchen talking to Sirius, Izzy, Molly, Arthur and Lupin.

"Yes, well, you can just pop round any time you like," Molly smiled widely.

Rosalyn went to sit down at the table, and also noticed a new addition. Neville was sitting with Fred, George, Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione, eating cereal.

"Ahh, look who's up!" Fred said jokingly.

Rosalyn sighed and said. "I had a big day, yesterday, you know, Fred."

"Yeah, you blew off a lot of steam yesterday," George pointed out.

Rosalyn sighed, helping herself to bacon. "And I see we have a new addition," she added, looking at Neville.

"Hi Rosie," he smiled at her awkwardly.

"Yes, Neville and Augusta dropped by today for a bit of breakfast!" Molly said, taking a tray of fried eggs from Kreacher and placing it at the table.

"Ahh, Rosalyn Potter!" Augusta tapped Rosalyn on the shoulder. "I've heard a but about you!"

Rosalyn smiled and said. "Hi, nice to meet you."

"A pleasure, a pleasure!" She said quite loudly. "Especially as Neville wanted to see-"

She stopped at the redness of Neville's face.

"W- wanted to see all his friends!" She finished hastily.

Rosalyn sighed and finished her breakfast without complaint.

The day was just spent lazing around with Neville as he told them all about what his summer had been so far.

"...And we actually got to go to France! Paris! Gran and I spent two weeks there! We went to the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe! I also learned how some goblins tried to set the cathedral, erm- what's it-"

"Notre Dame," Hermione helped.

"Yeah, that, anyway, these goblins decided to tried to set it on fire, but there had been protective charms around it, and they all got blown up when they tried to do it-"

"I've heard about that," Hermione said kindly. "It was in some of the Goblin Uprising stuff we learnt in third year-"

"How do you remember that?" Ron asked. "I mean, it's-"

"Carry on, Neville," Rosalyn said pointedly, not wanting a Ron-Hermione bicker to ruin anything today.

"It was amazing!" Neville's lips formed into a smile. "I learned a lot as well, it was a great trip!"

Rosalyn beamed at him.

Finally, after a day of lazing around, Neville and his gran had to leave. Rosalyn hugged him as he left, and when they finally went out the door, Neville and a tomato looked quite similar.

"Aww, is he your boyfriend yet?" Fred and George teased her.

"No! I don't even like him and he doesn't even-" Rosalyn stopped.

"Yes he does, Rosalyn," Harry joked. "He has since first year."

Rosalyn sighed and stalked away, but Sirius caught her by the arm and pulled her back. "I never heard that that was your boyfriend, Rosalyn!"

"That's because it wasn't!"

"If you say so!"

"Wait, Rosalyn Potter has a boyfriend?" Izzy asked jokingly. "I can already hear my dear brother screaming overprotectively from the grave..."

Rosalyn had to laugh at that.

After she had recovered, she walked into the kitchen for dinner and saw Molly she walked forward and brazenly said. "I'm sorry."

Molly looked at her. "Whatever for, Rosalyn?" She chuckled then smiled.

"For how I reacted, I-I- didn't mean to angry at you, I was just-"

"Frustrated," Molly nodded. "And I get why, Rosalyn, and I know. It's alright, I'm fine, you're fine. You're going through enough at the moment."

Rosalyn smiled and said. "Thanks, Molly."

So Rosalyn set down to eat with everyone in the order, feeling half irritated and half amused.

That night, Rosalyn had disturbed dreams. Her hearing was the next day, so she was dreading that, and there was also what Sirius had said earlier...

"You are hereby, expelled..."

"Something he didn't have last time..."

"Be before the entire Wizenagemot..."

"What, a weapon...?"

"I know that you can be stubborn and quick tongued..."

"What does the Ministry of Magic have against me...?"

Rosalyn sat bolt upright in her bed.

"What was that about, Rosalyn?" Ginny asked her.

"Wh-what?" Rosalyn asked, yawing, her tangled red hair covering her face.

"Talking in your sleep, like 'come on, a bit further...' and that, what were you dreaming about?"

"A bit further?" Rosalyn asked. "I don't know what that's about."

She didn't honestly remember all her dreams, but she had a fleeting memory of a door.

A door, though? She asked herself, what would that be about, I really don't know...

And she didn't, but very soon, she would, and, sadly, she had a whole load of these dreams to go.
