CAROLINE WAS DOWNSTAIRS with Tian-Chen helping to get dinner started. She had decided to stay another night to make sure Kenny and Tian-Chen were really okay. Kenny came down to help and the three of them prepared dinner

"I'll go get Jade" Caroline said and the mother and son nodded. Caroline went up the stairs and opened the door

"What?" Jade asked. He was laying on the bed

"Time to eat" Caroline said

"I'm not hungry" Jade replied

"I don't really give a damn. You either come down stairs of your own volition or I'll bring a plate up here and shove it down your throat" Caroline said

"Just fuck off. Just fuck off" Jade said as he grabbed the pillow and turned on his side, using the pillow to cover his ears

"You need to get a grip" Caroline said. Kenny and Tian-Chen came into the room and Tian-Chen began yelling at Jade in Chinese. Jade sat up not making eye contact with anyone

"Okay! Okay! Okay! Okay! I'm coming! Jesus!" Jade yelled. Tian-Chen and Kenny went back downstairs

"Should probably hurry the fuck up.. wouldn't want Tian-Chen to be on your ass again" Caroline said before walking out. Jade followed after her and went down the stairs. The four of them plus little RJ who was in a high chair were now in the dining room. Caroline sat beside RJ and began feeding him his mashed carrots. Kenny and Tian-Chen ate while Jade flipped through a book

"Seriously, man, I don't know why you keep staring at that thing" Kenny said

"I'm sorry. Hold on" Jade said softly as Caroline put a spoonful of mashed carrots in RJ's mouth. Which the baby happily ate. "This page, it's.."

"What?" Kenny asked as Jade inspected the page

"There's two pages stuck together here" Jade said as he picked up a box cutter and used it to break apart the two pages. Tian-Chen finished her food and took over for Caroline, so the  mother could eat. Tian-Chen got a spoonful of carrots and began making noises as she moved the spoon all around, smiling at RJ. A photo came out of the two pages and Caroline scarfed down her food. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay. Huh. Now we're talking"

Caroline looked over at the photo to see a man holding a book. Tian-Chen grabbed it and looked at it

"Victor!" Tian-Chen said. Kenny and Tian-Chen began talking in Chinese. Tian-Chen then gave the photo back to Jade and pointed at the little boy in the background. The little boy had Victor's lunchbox

"Holy shit" Kenny said

"I mean, Annie said that she arrived in 1982.. she got here 10 years after Victor. If you want answers you should go to her. Victor isn't that much of a talker" Caroline said. It was like a light bulb went off in Jade

"He's been here since 1972?" Jade asked

"According to Annie, yeah" Caroline said. Jade looked around before nodding

"And no one has gone to him for answers?" Jade asked

"As I just said, Victor isn't that good of a communicator. And it's highly unlikely he really knows what's happening" Caroline said

"But he could. He could be the key to escaping. I need to-" Jade was cut off

"It's night. Where are you gonna go?" Kenny asked

"Shit.." Jade said remembering that they couldn't leave at night

"You can figure this out tomorrow" Caroline said

CAROLINE WAS TRYING to sleep but all she could think about was Randall and how much she missed him. How much she wished he was here

Caroline had left work early due to her not feeling well. She wondered if she ate something wrong. All she knew was she was sick to her stomach. The minute she got home she rushed to bathroom and spit up chunks. Randall had today off so he was confused on why his wife was home. He rushed into the bathroom to see her throwing up her guts. He immediately rushed over and helped hold her hair with one hand while the other rubbed her arm, comforting her. When Caroline finished she groaned

"What's up with you?" Randall asked

"I feel so nauseas.. maybe it was that Chinese food we had last night" Caroline said

"We ate the same thing. Wouldn't we both be sick?" Randall asked

"I don't fucking know" Caroline replied. Randall thought for a moment

"You think you might be pregnant?" Randall asked

"How in the fuck did you come to that conclusion?" Caroline asked as she gave him an unamused look

"Your boobs have been looking a little fuller.. not that I mind.. and you've been gaining a little weight.. again not a bad thing.. in fact I very much enjoy it" Randall said with a sly grin. Caroline gave him that same unamused look before she breathed in his face causing him to give a disgusted look, inhaling the vomiting breath. Caroline laughed as she got up and flushed the toilet before she began brushing her teeth. "Babe, I'm serious. You could be pregnant.. I mean when's the last time you had your period?"

Caroline thought about it.. it had been almost two months but she just didn't really ever notice it. She had been so busy lately with work. Caroline stopped brushing her teeth and left the brush in her mouth. She then opened the bottom shelf and pulled out a pregnancy test. She always had one on hand since they'd had some pregnancy scares while they were still dating. Randall took the toothbrush out of her mouth and rinsed it off. She spat out any toothpaste she had in her mouth before wiping her mouth with her free hand

"Shoo.. I need to take this test" Caroline said

"Nothing I haven't seen before" Randall grinned. Caroline shoved him out with a laugh before closing the door behind him. She then quickly took the pregnancy test and was now waiting for the results. 15 minutes had passed and she was sitting on the toilet seat. She was scared to look at it. "Care.. you good? What's the test say?"

Caroline quickly grabbed the stick face down before she turned it over. It was positive. It was positive

"I'm pregnant" Caroline said. Randall opened the door immediately and grabbed the test and looked at it

"You're pregnant.." He said

"Yeah.." She replied. Randall smiled before he looked at her

"We're having a baby.. we're having a fucking baby!" Randall cheered before he tossed the stick and brought Caroline to her feet before he kissed her. "We're gonna be parents!"

Caroline couldn't help but be happy that he was happy. They were going to start their own little family. It was everything she ever wanted
