Lydia backs up against a corner, standing next to the door to wait for her teacher to come and unlock the door(but obviously, some classmates would make it before he did).

She leans to the side, peeking to see if anyone's on their way to her location when she spots Jaime.

Jaime, the Jaime she's been pining over for what seemed like forever. She leaned back against the wall and looks to her hand. She has a bag of a m&m cookie she bought at the snack bar. They usually came with 2 cookies, but she'd already eaten the first in 8th period.

He approached her and smiled at her to greet her, and she nodded in return.

A panic arose over Lydia as she tried to think of a way to engage a conversation or any kind of interaction with him.

She glances down to the cookie once more and had an idea.

"You want this?" She held out the cookie to Jaime with her lips slightly curled into a smile.

He nodded and took the cookie"Sure." He opened the bag and broke a piece of the cookie off to offer it to her. "Want a piece?"

"No thanks, I already had one."

Jaime mouths an "Okay." and eats the cookie, thanking her after.

Lydia smiled to herself, happy that she had spoken to her crush. And gushed about him to her cousin after school.
