Moments of sleep,
Promises to keep,
Floods of stress
And loads of mess.
It's funny how it all disappears,
Into the dark,
It all becomes so clear.

Starry nights,
Disappear the plights.
Moon in love,
Endymion in her heart's every curve.
How beautiful,
How pure!
The everyday hassles,
How far it travels,
Into the dark
It never leaves a mark!

Isn't it funny how we care less?
Isn't it beautiful how we love more?
Isn't it magical how we dream more?
Isn't it ecstatic how we explore more?

The night reveals us,
Often changes us
And more often suffocates us
With peace,
With love
And with dreams.

Some fear the dark
While some embrace it.
Some wander off in their delusions
While some ramble in their dreams.
The owl just lives
While the darkness lasts!

Lovers escape to the freedom of love,
One night and it changes it all.
It's the time we cry
And let fall our teary smiles.
No one to intrude.
It's just you,
Just me.
Just the stars.
Just the darkness.
And just the moon,
To bathe us with our love
And her silvery light...

Hi!
Firstly, I wanna thank DaringWolf_ for suggesting this topic to write on. I really enjoyed it. Hope you like it! Night is something I really enjoy. It's a time of peacefulness and a time when there's no one to judge me.

Secondly, I have participated in the golden awards. I really do not expect anything. I don't think my poetries are anywhere near, what some of  my fellow participants have written. But yeah, participation is what counts!  Still, let's hope for the best. *fingers crossed*

Lastly, let me know what you think about this poem. Also about the cover up there that I made. I have recently logged into my account on Commaful. I am gonna post there too. It's quite interesting actually. The way of posting there is so different. I am also gonna post on Poetizer.
