Part 35: Escape
She wanted to fly really high,
She wished to touch the brilliant sky.
But she was afraid,
She felt the fright,
Could she ever reach that height?
She tried and tried,
Until she couldn't anymore.
She tried to reach that height,
She tried to take her flight,
But her fear curtained every desire.
Everytime the moon whispered her name,
Softly against the faded sky,
Telling her to escape the world,
She tried to reach the height again,
Only to sink down in vain.
The whispers haunted her,
They stole away her sleep
And made her dreams dreadful.
She wanted to escape,
Fly to where she belonged.
She wanted to go the lonely moon
And brighten her up.
She just wanted to elope
And set herself free,
From the fetters of life.
But her fear of height,
Held her back,
And she could never take the flight.
So every night when the moon came into light,
She stared at her,
With a look of love no man had witnessed.
