Hey JJ,

It's been so long since I've been able to talk to you. I don't understand why you won't try to talk to me using Cerebro. I guess I do get it. It's kind of complicated to set up. I just wish we could talk more efficiently.

I've been spending a lot of time with Steve Harrington. Do you remember him, JJ? He was Nancy's boyfriend for a while. He's kind of sad-looking now, though.

I really wish we could spend more time together. I wish we could play another DnD game together and eat ice pops on the couch like we used to. Growing up is weird. It's been so long since I thought about how we used to ride our bikes to the pool, and the lifeguards would yell at us. It's weird to be so removed from someone I used to be.

I'm pretty much the same, though. I've been working on some new gadgets, mostly for long-distance conversations. It's been a long time since I've looked at that project, it's mostly made of tinfoil right now, and a few wrenches, I think. I don't really remember, it's been a while. I've got to spend more time with that one.

I know you've been worried about a few different things and I know it's so hard not to be stressed but I don't know. My mom always says it's okay to take a break. Your body might not be ready for it but it's always going to be okay to not do things. My mom is pretty smart about those kinds of things so I'd definitely follow that advice.

Don't let other people get you down. You're one of my favourite humans, and I love spending time with you. I really wish we were able to spend more time together. That would be so incredible! I wish we still lived next door to each other. That would be awesome! We'd still be able to bike around Hawkins like we did as kids. I wish we could still do that.

I'd send you a few stickers but mom said 'I want to send those for JJ's birthday' so I guess you'll have to wait until then.

I miss you so much and I can't wait to see you again soon,
