Alana, Liam, Ethan, Chad, Mindy, and Kirby are all in a cramped-up van, while Sam, Tara, Arianna, and Bailey are outside in Central Park looking for Ghostface. Ethan and Alana are sharing a bag of Cheetos, Liam is playing on his phone, Chad is eating pizza, and Mindy is leaning back in her chair, watching Kirby type away on her computer.

"So we're really doing the phone tracing thing that never works in the movies. It'll be all. 'Keep him talking, Sam. Two more minutes, I've almost got him.' And then he hangs up just before we can get a lock." Mindy looks at Kirby extremely skeptical. 

"I can trace a call in under 15 seconds." Kirby looks at Mindy with a look of pride.

Alana stares at Kirby in complete awe. "Dude, that's amazing. How do you do that?" She sits up quickly, ignoring the pain in her lower stomach.

Mindy stops Alana's fangirling and raises her eyebrows before sitting up. "Well, you've got them out there as bait." 

"Because the killer usually calls from somewhere nearby."

"And you think they're safe because it's broad daylight in a public place?"

"Look, I am here, okay?" Kirby looks at Mindy before going on, "And so is Bailey." 

"This is exactly how our Uncle Randy died. Broad daylight. Public place. Yanked into a van. Stab, stab, stab. No more Randy."

Kirby stares at her, then nods. "Huh."

The other four just stare at her before Ethan offers Chad some Cheetos, and Alana smacks him. "Not the time, babe." She grabs some Cheetos and eats one.

Kirby goes back to her computer. "Hey, Sam? Stay frosty out there, okay?"

The five wait until they hear Sam's phone ring. Kirby types at her computer while Alana shakes her leg anxiously. Ethan notices and puts his hand on her thigh to calm her down, making Alana look at him with a smile and lean her head on his shoulder. 

After a few minutes, Kirby finds his location. "Yep. Geolocation coming through right now. He's on the Upper West Side. He's in an apartment building halfway across the city."

Alana looks at her as her and Tara say at the same time, "On West 96?" 

Kirby looks at her. "How did you two know that?"

Alana and Sam say at the same time, "Gale."

The group of friends are in the lobby of Gale's apartment complex when Danny runs in. "Hey. Hey. I got her as fast as I could." 

Tara looks up at him with a fearful expression. "Did you?"

Danny just looks at her confused. 

"I'm scared, you guys. I really don't wanna ger hurt again." 

"Neither do I."  

Mindy closes her eyes, remembering what happened to Chad a year prior before looking at the said boy. "I don't want you getting hurt again, either." 

"I know." Chad leans back and places his head on his sister's shoulder and his hand on her knee. "I know." 

Tara puts her head on Mindy's shoulder, making Mindy put her head on Tara's.

"So what do we do now?"

Ethan sighs, making Alana grab his hand and rub it with her thumb.

"Maybe he gets to win this time." This makes everyone look at Sam confused. "He wants to punish me. Me. So maybe I let him." Sam sniffles. "I'll just give myself up. If this is what I have to do to keep you safe, it's worth it."

Arianna shakes her head. "No, we're not doing that, Sam." She stands up in front of her sister. "You went back to Woodsboro to protect me and Tara. Every single day, you make the decision to protect me, Tara, and Alana. None of us would even be alive if it weren't for you." She gestures at everyone else. "You have to let us protect you this time."

Sam shakes her head. "No."

Tara nods her head and stands up next to Arianna. "Yes. We're a team, remember?"

Alana walks over to the sisters as Mindy stands up. "Actually, we're a family."

Chad claps and stands up. "Let's go! Spectacular Seven! Come on." He puts his hand out.

Mindy puts her hand on her brother's. "Spectacular Seven."

Alana, Tara, and Arianna also put their hands in. "Spectacular fucking Seven, man."

Danny slightly steps forward. "Spectacular what?"

Chad puts his other arm out in front of Danny. "It's an us thing."

This makes Danny step back and chuckle.

Sam looks at her friends around her. "He's gonna keep coming for us."

"I-isn't there somewhere safe we could hole up in?"

Alana looks at her boyfriend. "No, he's gonna keep finding us."

Ethan sighs. "Great."

Tara gets an idea. "He could use that, though." She calls Bailey and explains her idea to him.

"I'm getting my ass chewed out for not dropping case and now you want me to do what?"

"We want to lure him to a secure location and trap him inside."

"And then what?

"We execute him." Tara notices his hesitation to respond. "Are you gonna help us?"

"Let's kill the son of a bitch. Now, I'm stuck here, but Gale gave us the keycards to the theater. It's got heavy surveillance and security cameras, but we can use that against him. I'll tell Kirby to meet you there. I'll join you as soon as I can."

Tara nods. "Got it."

"And remember, travel in public. The more people around you, the less chance he has to take a shot at you before you get there."

The group of eight walk down the stairs to the subway so they can get to the theater. They see a crowd of people wearing different costumes. Alana is standing next to Sam as she looks around at the other people in the subway. "I don't like this." 

Sam puts her arm around Alana's shoulders and rubs her arm comfortingly. "It's okay. Just ignore them."

"Is this even a good idea?"

"You don't have to come if you don't want to."

"So we just peel off and the killers picks us off one by one? No, thank you." 

Sam rolls her eyes at Ethan. "Let's just get to the theater. Come on, in here."

"Yes, because it'll be much less scary at the serial killer movie theater."

Alana turns and slaps his chest. "Don't call it that, dude." 

"Fuck. Wait, hey, hey! Chad! Hey! Fuck! Chad! Tara!" 

Tara turns around and blatantly ignores Mindy.

Chad notices his sister isn't with them. "Wait, where's Mindy?"

"Chad! Lana! Hey, Lana!"

Chad and Alana turn around at their names being called. "Mindy! Mindy! Mindy!" He reaches his hand for her. "Let's go." He gets pulled back. "Shit."

Mindy gets to the door right as it shuts. "Fuck!"

Alana gets stuck between Sam and some random guy and tries to get out of the small space. As she does, she back into Chad and immediately turns around. "I am so sorry."

Chad just looks down at her and smiles. "It's okay. Don't worry about it."

Sam looks around and notices Mindy isn't there. "Where's Mindy?"

"She missed the train. I was gonna wait for her, but Cute Boy here dragged me on." Chad points at Danny, making everyone look at him with different expressions. 

Danny immediately defends himself, "I was trying to keep us together."

Arianna just stares at him for a second. "By pulling us apart?"

Alana looks at the girl she used to call her best friend. "Arianna, stop. He's trying to help." This makes Danny look at her thankfully and Arianna look at her annoyed. 

"Then why would he not let Chad wait for Mindy?"

"He clearly didn't mean t-"

Chad cuts their argument off, "It's okay. It's okay. It's fine. She's with Ethan. She'll meet us there."   

Liam laughs sarcastically. "If she's with Ethan, there's a large chance she won't be okay."

Alana looks at her brother with fury in her eyes. "Shut the fuck up. You're just mad I didn't tell you about us and Arianna did before I even had the chance to."

Before anyone can say anything else, Chad speaks up, "Oh, shit."

Alana looks at him. "What?" She follows his gaze and sees what he's looking at. Someone dressed up as Ghostface costume. "You have got to be joking."

Tara looks at Sam. "How many stops do we have?"

Sam leans over and looks at the map before looking back at the other. "Ten."

Everyone looks at each other before looking around as the light flicker. "I can't do this shit." Alana leans into Chad, which makes him instinctively wrap his arms around her.

The trains stops. People get off and 'Ghostface' stares them down. People walk in front of them, and they disappear, making Sam look around in fear.

Chad looks at his phone. "Still nothing from Mindy." He shows Alana, making her sigh and look at her phone. 

"Nothing from Ethan either."

Sam watches in fear as 'Ghostface' stalks toward them. "Guys?"

Danny steps in front of the girls protectively, ready to fight only for 'Ghostface' to turn and get off the train, making the group sigh in relief. 

The group walk up the subway stairs by the theater and Kirby sees them. "Hey. I talked to Bailey. I've got everything set up." She turns around walking next to Sam before turning back around to see Mindy and Ethan are missing from the group. "Where are Mindy and Ethan?"

Tara looks at her. "They're five minutes behind us."

"Let's get you all inside."

Sam thinks before turning to Danny, making him stop in his track. "Not you."

"What?"

The others stop to watch the couple.

"Don't trust anyone, remember? We don't know you. Not really."

"You know me."

"You're not Woodsboro. I'm sorry."

"It's okay. It's okay, I get it." They nod at each other. "Be safe, okay?" He leans in and kisses her cheek. "Okay?"

"You, too." Sam quickly turns around and starts walking away with everyone, except Alana, who looks at Danny with a sad smile. 

"Bye, Danny." She waves, making him wave back.

"Bye, Ala." He smiles and waves, making her away with after others.

Kirby unlocks the gate to the theater and holds it open for everyone. "I cleared the whole place before you got here." She closes the door, locking it. "So, this is the only way in or out. He steps in through the first door, both doors lock automatically, trapping him inside. We turn it into a kill box." 

"Weapons?"

"One gun, and I hold onto to it." Kirby sees the looks Alana and Sam give her. "I am the only one with a badge and that's the way it's gonna be." She notices the group's demeanor. "We're safe here."

Alana raises her eyebrows and walks away with Chad following behind her. She takes her jacket and pulls her phone to call Ethan. 

"Hey it's Ethan. Sorry I can't come to the phone right now. I'm probably watching Star Wars with my amazing girlfriend or sleeping. Just leave a message and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can." 

Alana makes her way to the stage and laughs at Ethan's voicemail. 

"Whatcha laughing at?"

Her dad's voice makes her jump. "Shit, dad." She puts her phone in her pocket. "And I was laughing at Ethan's voicemail thing."

Roman nods, even though he doesn't fully understand what she's talking about. "That's- okay. You know you're not really safe here, right? Just because she says you are, doesn't mean to you are. This entire thing could just be a trap for you guys."

Alana laughs, confused. "What? No- Kirby couldn't possibly be the killer. Why would she inflict the pain she felt onto other people?"

"You just never know with some people. Maybe she went crazy after what happened to her and wanted others to feel what she felt."

Alana just shakes her head, refusing to believe that what her father is saying is true. 

"Just have something to protect yourself with, please. Just so I know you're safer than what I think you will be." He nods to his knife in the display case.

Alana stares at it before sighing and opening the case. "Fine." She grabs the knife and closes the case, examining the knife. "This is trippy." She looks back up at her dad to see him smiling softly. 

"That's my girl."

Alana smiles and turns around to see that everyone, except Sam, has left the room. "What the hell." She walks over to Sam. "Where'd everyone go?"

Sam shakes her head. "I- I don't know. Kirby!" She walks down the steps of the stage and through the walk space between the different cases slowly when her phone making both girls jump. Sam answers her phone. "Hello?" Suddenly, Sam runs towards the gate in a panic, freaking Alana out. 

"Sam! What was that about?" She runs over to the gate, where Sam is trying to unlock to no avail. "Sam? You're freaking me the fuck out."

Before Sam can respond to the girl, the lights shut off and a projector turns on, making the girls turn around with their knives protectively in front of them. A knock-off Stab movie plays on the screen by the stage as Sam and Alana slowly walk over to it. "Oh, shit."

Alana hears a scream from another room and looks at Sam concerned. "Was that Tara?"

Sam nods and runs towards where the sound came from and finds a door and opens it, running into Chad, Tara, Arianna, and Liam.

"Come on, go, go, go!" Chad and Liam push the four girls into the hallway back to main part of the theater. 

"It's Kirby. She's the killer."

"No shit!" Chad runs to the gate only for Alana to stop him. 

"That's locked."

"Come on. Are we trapped?" Chad turns and runs back to the others, who are trying to find a way out. 

"She made this whole theater a kill box. For us."

Alana looks at her, thinking her dad might've been right.

Tara looks up at the balcony above them and grabs onto Sam. "Hey, what about that? There's an exit door. Maybe it leads to the roof or something?"

"There's only one way to find out. Let's go. Let's go." Chad and Liam maneuver the girls to the stage. 

"Bailey's on the way, but-" Sam doesn't get to finish her sentence, as Ghostface jumps off the stage, making the group move back. They swing their knife at the group and the girls fall over, with Sam and Alana dropping their knives in the process. 

Ghostface goes after Chad and swings their knife at him, as he moves out of the way and making them cut a mannequin's head off.

"Beheadings!" Chad tackles Ghostface to the ground and grabs a camera, as the girls and Liam run up to the stage. "Smile for the camera, motherfucker!" He swings the camera in Ghostface's face, making them to the ground once again and follows the others to the stage. 

Tara sees an open door and points at it. "This way! Come on!" She runs to the open door with the others following her and Ghostface follows after them. Tara runs into the wall with a scream. 

Chad turns and throws the camera at Ghostface. "Get fucked!"

They get into the room where Chad and Tara previously where and Chad throws the popcorn machine onto the ground, making it shatter. 

Ghostface swings their knife at Chad once again, only for him to backwards into the wall and Sam and Tara grab onto them, pulling them back and they run into the counter. Chad punches Ghostface in the face, making them fall over and Alana kicks them in the face with a grunt.

"Lana, go! Go!" Chad grabs the gumball machine and stands above Ghostface with the machine raised over his head.

The girls and Liam go to leave the room when they hear Chad's scream from behind them. Alana and Tara turn around quickly. "No!" 

Liam grabs Alana and Sam grabs Tara. "Chad!" 

Two Ghostfaces repeatedly stab Chad while Alana and Tara go to help him with their siblings holding them back and Arianna watching in horror with her hand over her mouth and tears streaming down her face. 

Chad looks at the group in front of from with blood pouring out of his mouth. "Run. Go." 

The two Ghostfaces pull their knives out of Chad, making him to fall to the floor and turn to the group of friends, staring at them and cleaning their knives while Alana and Tara cry. 

Arianna opens the door back to the main part of the theater and the group of friends go back to where they originally were. 

"This way. Up here. Come on." Sam pulls her sister and Alana over to the stage with Arianna and Liam following behind, only for one Ghostface to come out from behind the curtain, making Alana whimper in fear. They try to go the other way, only for the other Ghostface step out in front of them and wave their knife to taunt them. Sam turns her, Tara and Alana around to see the first Ghostface point their knife at them. Sam sees bricks and grabs three of them, handing one to Tara and one to Alana and they form a triangle. 

Tara sobs. "Oh, Sam!"

Sam looks at the Ghostface in front of her. "Ready?"

Tara and Alana just sob.

"I need you two to be ready. Ready? Look at me." 

The two look at her. "I'm ready."

"Me too." Tara turns back to the Ghostface in front of her. "Come on, motherfucker!"

Before anyone can make the first move, gunshots are heard, making everyone duck to not get hit and Kirby comes out of nowhere. "It's okay!" 

Sam pushes Alana and Tara behind her. "Stay the fuck back!"

Kirby walks down the stage steps towards the girls.

Alana steps in front of her. "We know it's you, Kirby."

"One of them knocked me out." Kirby points behind her with a fearful and saddened look on her face.

"Kirby, stop!" Kirby points her gun at Bailey. "Get away from the girls!" He walks closer with his gun pointed at Kirby. 

"What are you doing?"

"Did you kill Quinn? Did you kill my daughter?"

"Jesus Christ!" Kirby moves her eyes to the girls. "Whatever he's been saying to you, don't listen to him. He's probably the killer." She looks back at Bailey and sees one Ghostface appear behind him. "Behind you!"

Bailey stares at her for a second then straightens his stance and shoots Kirby, making her fall to the ground. 

The girls and Liam look back and forth between Kirby's body and Bailey in shock. 

"Good job." The second Ghostface walk to Bailey's left and him and the first Ghostface look at them. "Both of you."

Alana looks at Bailey with pure disgust on her face. "You?"

"Yeah, of course me. Frankly, I expected more from the five of you after what you did to us."

Alana's face turns from disgusted to confused. "What do you mean 'us'?"

The Ghostface to Bailey's left takes off their mask and Alana feels her heart sink and tears form in her eyes.
