Eventually, Lion could only fit for two people maximum, so Steven didn't know where to put you and Spinel together - well, since Spinel wasn't letting you go anytime soon, Steven was forced to bring her - and yet you being smart and oblivious to your intelligence, you told Spinel to shapeshift into a smaller form which Spinel turned to as small as a toddler, sandwiched Spinel between you and Steven on Lion.

Steven patted Lion's head as a signal for him to move, which he moved his legs and ran around Beach City his following Steven's orders.

Lion roared loudly and created a magical pink glowing portal in front of Steven, you and Spinel; brought himself into the portal which brought all the three of you to around Beach City walk Fries, were a shop of fries was selling.

Lion made a couple of turnarounds in front of the fries store while Steven called out Amethyst.

"Amethyst! Amethyst!" Steven called out.

Steven paused for a moment, trying to catch any sight of Amethyst anywhere but didn't get anything, he sighed and told Lion to portal him to Funland which Lion followed.

Once the four of you got teleport to the Funland, the scream of laughter were as soon as you entered the scene, brought back the first-ever memory of Steven brings you there, clear as glass, you were so happy at the time when Steven first brought you there, a small smile was formed on your lips when you recalled the memories.

Steven looked around the place, only caught people were having fun and let out screams of laughter, made himself sighed in disappointment before patting Lion's head, signalling there was no Amethyst and needed to go somewhere else she might be.

Lion roared loudly again and created a magical pink glowing portal, hopped into it, portal the four of you near Big Donut store, looked around the scene just to find people walk around the sidewalk.

Steven let out another deep sigh, his eyes fluttered close, you were the third person on Lion managed to catch Steven's worried face, made you felt a tint of sadness in your heart.

You think of something and looked around to your surroundings, tried to find something useful for Steven or at least him not feeling useless of finding Amethyst to where she could be right now.

Your eyes landed on the store near you, Big Donut written hugely on the sign, made an idea formed inside of your head as a lightbulb was lit up too and idea inside of your idea.

"Steven. How about the Big Donut?" you asked, hugging Spinel tighter into your embrace as you didn't want to let her slip away from Lion.

Steven's mind clicked an idea of yours earlier, looked at the Big Donut; patted Lion's head and signalled him to go inside of the store which he roared at and insert the portal.

Steven's head appeared inside of the portal, looked around the store to see a couple of people were lining up to buy some donuts for the day.

Steven's action startled Dewey who had just returned some change to a customer.

"Amethyst!" Steven yelled, looked around the store once more.

Once he found Amethyst wasn't in there too, he sighed and insert himself into the portal once more.

"Steven. Buy some donuts, she loved those right?" you suggested.

Steven grinned at the brilliant idea of yours, inserted his head again into the portal, revealing himself to be in the store once more, he startled Dewey again.

"Wait, can I get a couple to go?" Steven asked.

Dewey nodded in confusion and still in a state of shock, grabbed a paper bag before shoving in some random donuts inside of it before handed them to Steven.

Steven was about to pay but Dewey cut him off.

"No please, it's on the house" Dewey spoke.

Steven smiled and thanked him after, entering the portal once again and disappeared from the store, made Dewey sighed loudly in relief.

"Okay then. Let's go somewhere else" Steven informed, patted Lion's head which made him created another portal before entering them.

Soon, the sight of houses and sidewalks were in sight as Steven took out a donut and gave Spinel the bag, which Spinel took another donut out of it before chomping deliciously before offering you the donut, which you gladly eaten it as well, moaned to its deliciousness.

Lion walked slowly in the neighbourhood, looked around as well as to find if Amethyst were near there or not.

Steven brought the donut to the air, a hand to the cheek of his before he started calling out her.

"Amethyst! I've got a tasty donuts! Come and get them!" Steven yelled while offering Amethyst the donut. Steven sighed again and let his arm downwards, feeling it slowly numbing since all the blood had transferred downwards. "Worth a try. Where can she be?" he asked to partially no one. Then suddenly, a sound of a crash was heard from a known garage, made both of yours and his attentions to the sound. "Huh?"

Steven immediately knew the garage was belonged to one of his father's friends, Vidalia, that he slowly putting up the pieces inside of his mind.

"Amethyst?" Steven asked lowly.

Steven got off from Lion and you suited Steven as Spinel follow closely behind, shapeshifting herself back to her original size and eat another donut, offered you the last piece of it, you eat it silently.

Steven, you and Spinel peeked through a curtain yellow curtain, moved them to the side to get a better view.

Steven then entered the garage without hesitating which you just followed his suit with Spinel close behind.

"What is this place?" Spinel asked, threw away the bag into a dumpster nearer.

Steven's eyes roamed around the room, watching as the paintings were still all the same and nothing really did change and to find any sudden movement anywhere.

"It's an art studio. Amethyst used to come here all the time" Steven stated.

Steven looked towards painting, it had some unique drawings on it, the body was all crystallized as the purple eye was staring at the wall.

Steven felt something off with the painting, glaring at it so he could see it better in the dark, as on cue, the eye of the painting moved to him, made Steven gasped at the sudden movement which the painting followed.

Amethyst stumbled backwards, revealing herself to shapeshift again but to her normal self which all the three of you gasped at, finally, you three had found Amethyst.

"Amethyst, thank goodness you're okay," Steven said, sighing in relief.

Amethyst then sat up on the floor, looked at Steven dumbly.

"Thank goodness you're okay" Amethyst repeated, but with a smile on her lips.

Steven's eyes fluttered close as he sighed in irritated before looked at Amethyst once more.

"I'm very not okay..." Steven admitted to her but held a tired smile on him. He stood up straight, feeling tiredness slowly drained his energy. "But I've got a plan. I'm gonna get us all back piece by piece. I just have to figure out your pieces" Steven spoke, turned to you as he told the plan. Steven brought his face to the painting of Amethyst earlier, glancing to the purple gem tiredly. "These paintings. Do you remember being painted?" Steven asked, showed Amethyst the paintings.

"Being painted?" Amethyst asked, dumbfounded.

Steven gestured his fingers to formed a gun, blast two soft shots at Amethyst.

"Pew, pew! Do you remember our handshake?" Steven asked again.

Amethyst still hadn't know where this is going as she shapeshifts as Steven, did exactly what he did earlier; fingers were formed guns as she let out two shots as well.

"Our handshake?" Amethyst asked once again.

Steven sighed but then glanced at the lamp beside him, turned it on so the darkroom earlier slowly went bright.

"Singing and dancing, that's gotta be a piece. Do you remember singing and dancing with me?" Steven asked but this time, it sounded desperate.

Steven slumped tiredly with his eyes almost fell into a close, with his hand brought the lamp towards Amethyst while continued his singing.

Steven who watched the scene unfold, went to you and hugged your waists from the back of yours, hugged you tightly to let you know that he or anyone isn't going anywhere soon, especially him.

After a few moments, they all released Amethyst and you followed their suits, looking at Steven which he immediately understood that you were asking for a plan.

"Amethyst loved foods, doesn't she? So let's move out to Beach Citywalk Fries to get her some" Steven spoke to you.

You nodded at his brilliant plan as you thought that Amethyst never could resist foods; Steven grabbed your hand and Amethyst's, pulled you to walk all the way to Beach Citywalk Fries which Spinel followed, which no one knew where Lion had wandered off.

You noticed Spinel's absent beside you, turned your head around to see Spinel was following behind you; held out your hand for her to accept, she was taken back a bit by your kind action and not questioning them and just grabbed your hand happily into her, which she flashed you with one of her grins as you replied the same.

Slowly; you, Steven, Spinel and Amethyst arrived to theatront of the Beach Citywalk Fries as Steven ordered two plates of fresh fries which Peedee gladly made for him.

After a minute or two, Peedee returned with two plates of fries in his hands, smell freshly in the air, Steven took it and paid for them.

Steven gave Amethyst a fresh plate of fries, made Amethyst was confused to what she needed to be doing with it.

You were standing beside Steven and Spinel was beside you, watching Steven used your mouth to demonstrate what was he planned on doing; Steven took a fries, blew on it so it could be colder and feed you with it, which made your eyes went stars and you moaned in its deliciousness.

Both you and Steven turned to Amethyst, watched she chewed on the fries but didn't swallow it, let her mouth open wide and the fries fell down onto the ground, dirtied it with the stepping floor.

Steven thought for a moment before you grabbed a piece of fries and feed Steven this time, while telling him to made it obvious he was swallowing it down his throat which he just followed your orders.

Steven let his face upwards, letting the sight of his throat was clearly visible to sight of hers, showing her he had swallowed the piece.

Amethyst picked up another fries, chewing and did the same as Steven to swallow it, made her eyes go stars and she grabbed the whole plate and shoved it down her throat.

You giggled, made Steven followed your suit, happy to see that Amethyst had fallen in love with foods once more.

You grabbed another piece and handed it to Spinel, she bit on it, chewed up and swallowed it, her eyes instantly went stars at the delicious flavour which you handed her some more and she gladly took them from you.

"How about the arcade after this?" you asked, feed up Spinel with the last of the fries.

Steven's face lightened up at your idea, hugged to your side, he gift ygiftsith a kiss on the cheek softly that made you giggled at the tickles.

"What am I going to do without you?" Steven asked before letting you go and threw both the plates in the dustbin near the group.

You grabbed Spinel's hand as Steven grabbed your free hand and Steven's free hand grabbed onto Amethyst's, pulled out the group to followed him to the arcade together.

Sooner, the view of the huge building of ararcaarcaden sight, the sound of games and chattering also was heard but faintly since the group was focusing on something else.

Steven led Amethyst to skeeball, let her take her own section as StrvenStevenhis; grabbed a ball in his hand, he threw it to the hole in front of him.

Steven began, threw the ball to one of the holes but unsuccessfully.

Steven thought for a minute, thinking of a way that Amethyst always do back then and when it clicked in his head, he grabbed multiple balls in his arms.

Steven sang, sat up exactly on top of the holes, hold the balls dearly to him, not wanting it to slipped away; Amethyst who just watched only followed, grabbed a mulple calls in her arms before positioned herself like Sasn did.

You caught Steven what he was doing, worried washed all over your form, you sat up from your sitting position earlier that was beside Spinel who laid down on her stomach, you gave Steven a worried face.

"W-Wait Steven, that didn't look it was a good idea" you adviceadvised
Steven looked towards you, gave you an assuring grin.

"It's okay, (Y/N). Just for Amethyst's sake" Steven replied.

"Just for Amethyst's sake" Amethyst copied Steven's words, made Steven out of his daydream about you and focused on the mission.

You looked at Amethyst sadly before nodding, believe that it was the only way to make her remember, through Amethyst's way.

You sat back down on the covered floor, played with Spinel to distract yourself from Steven's wrong wrongdoingven then threw a lot of balls inside of the smallest one, earning a lot of tickets in the process which Amethyst followed his suit.

Steven sang as he threw the balls continuously inside of the hole, repeatedly as more yellow ticket were fwasd, made Spinel shocked at the sight of the tickets.

You giggled at Spinel's childish behaviour as you knew she never had seen it before, reminded you of when your first time nailed your first shot into the hole and earned a lot of ticketticketshe end, you only bought a pink coloured dice from Mr Smiley.

"Oh, I'm gonna be"

Amethyst continued and threw the balls inside the holes as well.

Unfortunately to your luck, Mr Smiley had just got to be near the skeeball, made Steven and Amethyst got caught of cheating as he burst in anger of they cheated in the average level game; Steven grabbed Amethyst and you to outside of the arcade as fast as he could, leaving Spinel followed behind with tickets full in her noodle-y arms.

You turned your head, tried to make sure that Spinel wasn't hurt or gotten caught by Mr Smiley, and once you found she was near you, you smiled in relief.

"I told you it wasn't a besttheidea" you joked while giggled a bit.

Steven chuckled nervously before ran pass Ronaldo who was just about to go inside of the arcade, Amethyst in front of him as she shapeshapest into his form; Ronaldo was shocked, tried to unlocked his phone and returned to Amethyst just to found she wasn't there anymore, he kneeled down dramatically, and creamed out in mourn.

You winced at his cries, tried so hard to ignore it but it pained you to hear those loud cries, even Steven noticed your off behaviour, pulled you into his embrace, he kissed the crown of your head lovingly.

Oh how ,he wish he was yours so he could kiss you all day long.

Then, the four of you caught up to a moving train, Steven lifted you up by the waists and set you down on the train softly as you grabbed his hand and helped him to enter the train as well, Spinel had her leg stretched and grabbed Amethyst with her arms before entering the same carriage as yours and Steven's.

The sky was now painted in orange and yellowish colour, reminded you to evening sky; you haven't actually noticed that it was starting to go dark since you were so focused on both Amethyst and Spinel, not that you minded though, Steven was with you either way.

Steven leaned back to a stack of hay behind his back, smiled at Amethyst who leg her legs out of the corner of the train, swing it childishly as Spinel was laying down on top one of stacka  of hay, watching Amethyst from highera  view, and view right beside Steven.

Amethyst sang, bobbing her head to the sides, surprisingly singing alone without copying anyone; she then looked towards the both of you and Steven, smiled even wider.

She stood up, tapping lightly with her hands spread open, befre dived into a stack of hay.

Steven smiled wider, crawling beside the stack of hay that Amethyst had dived into, with you followed quite behind him.

Amethyst's head reappeared in the view and out of the hay, still held the huge smile of hers, she looked at Steven as if she had knew knownen for her entire life, literally.

Amethyst joked while singing, made both Steven and Amethyst chuckled along with you.

Steven stood up and jped inside of the hay with Amethyst, chuckled even more as you just watched the scene unfold.

Amethyst and Steven sang together before were interrupted by Spinel's action, she jumped inside of he hay and became the third wheel in the group, made your giggles died when you saw Steven's annoyed expression of Spinel being there.

You called out to Spinel and motioned her to come sit beside you which Spinel gladly followed, a huge innocent smile on her face that made you returned the same as well.

You glanced at Steven, noticed that Steven gave you a weak and tired smile, as a thanks for distracting the pink annoying gem away from him and Amethyst; you could only nodded as a response.

You and Spinel played 'Spy with my little eyes' for a while - that you had win a lot of times - and it went unnoticed when the kindergarten was now in sight, made you gasped at the horrifying place; Steven had showed you once but the place gave you chills so you told him not to bring you back there, but that was through warp and so you didn't exactly know the way long to go there.

Steven and Amethyst jumped off the train in ease as you seemed to have some struggles of doing so, which Steven took a notice instantly.

"It's okay, (Y/N)! Just jump! I promise that I'll catch you!" Steven yelled, opened his arms widely to assure you that he will catch you dearly into his arms.

You looked at Steven before looked down, seeing how fast the train were and how the rail was so blur in your view, made you grew terrified and scared; looking back at Steven, he was still running with his arms open wide, waiting patiently for you to jump off the train.

You breathed in and out deeply, closed your eyes before almost jump off.

You felt your waists was being wrapped by a noodle-y arms, opened your eyes to see Spinel hugged you tightly in her arms, stretched her legs, she got you off the train in ease with her leg restracted back to its normal form.

"Spinel!" you called before hugging her tightly, an most certainly, shakingly. You were terrified, horrified by the view of you could accidentally slipped off the train and died on the rails with the train's kept on moving without noticing your dead and injured body. The thought made you shivered violently, shaking roughly in Spinel's embrace. "Thank you so much, Spinel..."

Spinel flinched at the sudden thanks, her head felt slightly dizzy as if she was remembering something but she couldn't put a finger on it; just wrapped her arms tighter around you.

"Hey, your best friend Spinel is always here for you. So don't mention it" Spinel said through your neck.

"My best friend, Spinel, is the best person I had ever known" you said.

She grinned widely at your speech as she stood up and shake you violently in happiness; you weren't exactly objecting her action, but a knot in your stomach was felt as you managed to calmed Spinel down.

"Spinel! Don't shake her like that!" Steven scolded her.

Spinel looked at Steven, dumbfounded to what he meant, letting you slipped out of her arms as you bumped harshly to the ground.

You looked at Steven with a bead of sweats on your forehead, tried so hard to hold back the puke, but the sensation of burning is killing you slowly, painfully.

"I-It's okay, Steven. She didn't mean to-" you were cut off by you puking out pink liquid out of your throat.

This time, the like felt more acidic than before, the smell also had gotten worse, tears streamed down your face as you tried to control your sobs, crying silently in pain.

Steven's eyes wide open, rushed to your side and patted the back of you softly, hands craving your hair away from your sweaty face as your tears were all mixed up with the sweats.

Spinel slowly walked up to you, concerned of who could have done it to you, looking at you puking out violently before coughing harshly and continued to puke once more, she noticed your tiredness, probably because of she always smothering her with your ever since they had went off the journey, no, even before that.

After a minute or two, you had done puking, silently thanked the God for making the torture stop.

You coughed multiple times, letting the remaining puke inside your mouth slipped out of you.

"A-Are you okay?" Spinel asked you.

"Oh my stars, Spinel! Of course she is not okay!" Steven snapped, made Spinel flinched by the sudden yell.

"Of course she is not okay!" Amethyst repeated, the same yell, at Spinel.

You shook your head, even you weren't looking at Spinel, you could feel her guilt and fear of getting angry by someone else; immediately, you looked at Spinel with your teary eyes.

"I-It's okay, Spinel...  I'm fine... Nothing to worry a-about..." you managed to blurt out. Spinel wasn't actually convinced by your tired sayings but she let you go for this time, not wanting to burden you further. You then slowly looked at Steven, still held your stomach in pain. "Y... You should help A-Amethyst. I... I'm fine..." you assured him.

Steven looked at you sadly before took a glanced at Amethyst, seeing that she looked back at him like a child who didn't know anything, before looking back at you who suffered the pain in your stomach silently.

You gave him a very tired smile, while assuring him that you'll be okay.

Steven sighed, not believing that he going to leave you be; he reached out to you with his hand got covered by his jacket, wiped off some remaining vomit of yours earlier, softly brushed on your lips, mesmerising of how red it could be.

Once Steven was finished, he stood up and walked towards Amethyst before brought her to her hole.

"Through whoever you've been"

Steven continued singing, letting Amethyst travelled her hole, roamed her eyes around the empty space she had, she looked back to Steven.

Amethyst continued before grabbed Steven's hand into hers as it was then magically pulled on top of the carriage with you beside Steven and Amethyst beside Steven as well, looking at the sky that was being painted beautifully with its natural mixed colours.

Spinel was now beside you, leaned her head to your shoulder as she was also mesmerising the pretty scene in front of her.

Slowly, the train brought you to a field, a huge land field that was filled with fresh grass everywhere, green was everywhere; luckily, it was for least favourite colour.

Steven brought Amethsyt to the end of the cliff, looking at the Beach City brightly shone with different neon colours light below the cliff, so beautifully.

"Be right by your side"

As they slowly finished the song, Amethyst, without thinking, shot Steven with a finger gun of hers, one of the eve of their handshakes.

It shocked you and Steven, could it be that she is returning to her normal self?

Steven was confused even, by mostly glad that she started to recalling her memories; formed two finger guns on his hands, he shot two soft blows to Amethyst.

"Pew, pew...?" Steven asked, still in the state of confusion and shock.

Amethyst was taken back to her action earlier, not sure to why she had reacted to her own mind, he body seemed to move by its own; looked down to her fingered gun, she looked at Steven before slapping their hands together, as if they was high fiving each other.

"One..." they both chanted, bumped both of their first on top of each other. "Two..." the two continued as you watched in full interest. "Three..." they continued once more, bumping their fists to met together. "Hup!" they intertwined both of they hands before looked at each other in full of shock.

Steven teared up, hugged Amethyst tightly into his arm, grinning widely that it starting to hurt his face.

Amethyst's eyes widened as she felt something within her.

Her body glowed and escaped Steven's embrace, floated upwards as Amethyst's form started to changed one by one, followed by each memories she had created past the years of her living; you joined Steven, stood beside him before grabbed his hand into yours, highly hoping that Amethyst would be returning like she used to be.

Amethyst continued to glow, into her hand became foot to she formed like Pearl and to one hand bigger as same as her other foot; Steven and you watched at the scene unfold with mouth gapped widely, eyes watering to the sight of Amethyst changing; and finally, a normal Amethyst was formed.

Two of her eyes shone under the sky as she floated, but soon crashed to the ground with a loud thud sound.

"Ugh... What happened?" she asked, ruffled her hair backwards in confusion.

Without thinking further more, you and Steven charged to Amethyst and grabbed her into both of you and Steven's tight embrace, made her let out a chuckled at the sudden action.

She's back.
