You, Steven, Spinel, Ruby and Sapphire continued your journey to the Little Homeworld, step by step, taking it slow to catch breath and figure out how to tell the other three gems about the situation right now, you and Steven still didn't know if they noticed the huge injector yet or not.

While you were walking down the street, the feelings tingle in your chest started to reappear, you even tried to scratch it because it felt itchy but it only caused you pain so you tried so hard to ignore it.

Finally, after a few moments, the four of you had arrived on top of the tower in the centre of Little Homeworld, already saw your other three best friends.

"Steven! Long time no see you! What brings you here with us today?" Peridot greeted.

Steven gladly hugged Bismuth, Peridot and Lapis as a gesture of friends but soon began to explain to why the four of you had to talk to them.

The three of them then looked towards the cliff, seeing a huge black injector with its decreasing pink liquid,  the sudden knot was felt in your stomach but you kept it in as hard as possible.

"She rode in on that?" Peridot yelled while asked, stretching her arms out and pointed to the injector that looked like a medium-size from far.

Steven sighed.

"Yeah. She said my "human half" wouldn't stand a chance against her Injector" Steven told. Steven looked towards you and made you flinched, what's with you and flinching lately? You thought you already overcome it. Steven held out his hand and pulled you slightly over to him. "She even put something on (Y/N)'s gem. She started to... puke some pink liquid out of her. It's freaking me out-"

"Steven"

Your words cut him off as Steven looked to you, saw that you clenched your stomach through your shirt, face was deeply turning pale and mouth shut.

Sweats running down your forehead, cheeks puffed out to hold back your uneasy feeling in your throat.

Once you could held it no more, you ran over somewhere far away from the six of the gems and puked all out like you never have been puking before.

Tears slipping down your eyes as you still kept on puking out the pink liquid.

"(Y/N)!" Steven yelled, ran to you and kneeled beside you, patting your back softly as you let all of the liquid out of you.

You eventually cried while puking, your throat felt like it's burning and your head felt like it's losing the oxygen, you couldn't even see anything since it was super blur to your vision.

After several minutes, you finally stopped puking, Steven didn't embrace you immediately and instead gave you time to breathe.

You coughed out a bit and held your chest tightly, the pain, it hurts.

You continuously crying out pain as Steven grabbed you and hugged you, felt pity towards you that you had to go all of this suffering and troubles.

Steven eventually wiped off your remained puke with his sleeve, wiped it off your lips and nose.

"I'm so sorry. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't be in this situation right now" Steven confessed, hung his head down and held your shoulders tightly in his grip.

You shook your head softly, smiling.

"You did nothing wrong, Steven," you said.

"But look at you now! You're suffering! You-"

You cupped his cheek in your hand, smiling with half-lidded eyes.

"It was never your fault. Never, you hear me?" you confirmed, set your forehead on top of Steven's, closed eyes.

Steven's eyes began to teared up at your speech, overwhelmed by it, he loved you so much, and he really hopes you were his, he wanted to spend every little moment and moments with you, hold you tight in his embrace and hear you sing every day, he wanted that.

He always does.

Time Skip

"Why don't we just ask her?" Peridot suggested.

Steven scratched the back of his head, sweating lightly.

"Well, here's the thing-" Steven was cut off by Spinel who tapped on his shoulder, made him looked to his left. "Hmm? What? Where'd she-" and out of nowhere, Spinel came out from Steven's back, startled everyone by her action.

"Surprise!" Spinel yelled, wrapping her hand to Steven's arms while giggling.

"Here she is... My new best friend, Spinel" Steven said, sighed deeply.

Spinel looked at Steven happily, finally someone that she can play all day with, and with that, she bowed dramatically to others and spoke.

"A pleasure to meet you all" Spinel greeted, still bowing her gesture.

The other three gems now looked confused, Steven's story was completely different from what they are seeing at the moment.

"I thought you said she was just trying to kill you," Bismuth said, still shocked.

"Wow. Quick turnaround" Lapis stated.

"No kidding" Peridot told before giggled. "It took me months to stop trying to kill Steven!" Peridot confidentially announced, spreading her arms wide open.

"I say it took me a day- day and a half?" Bismuth declared proudly, shrugging her shoulders.

"I'm still on the fence" Lapis informed, made everyone giggled.

Steven who was watching his best friends talked about killing him made he felt kind of annoyed like he was still standing there and they were talked about him right in front of him, but soon calmed down when you brushed your fingers through Steven's arms, immediately the feeling of annoyed and stressed were released.

Peridot then walked towards Steven, handed out her hand before ask.

"Alright, let's see this thing she hit you with," Peridot asked for the weapon that caused the others to be like those.

"Uh, right" Steven then nervously pulled the rejuvenator out of his pocket, handed it to Peridot.

Peridot took it and began to examine the mysterious weapon, point the tip to her eyes.

"Whoa. Was there, like, uh, a laser or-" Peridot began to question, but then was grabbed off by Busmuth who looked terrified by the weapon.

"Be careful with that! It's a rejuvenator" Bismuth began to explain, activated the scythe which revealed the long glowing sharp knives. You flinched at the sight as your eyes widened, you backed away from the scene but Steven managed to grabbed you by the waists and held you tightly, let your head deepened into his shoulder. "Homeworld used to use these things on Gems that started steppin' out of line. One hit with this..." Bismuth then deactivates the weapon and looked towards Ruby and Sapphire. "You're back to how they made you"

"What are you lookin' at?" Ruby growled.

You were shaking at this point, remembering the horrible memory of Spinel came to Earth still fresh inside of your head, super fresh, Steven only managed to pat and kissed your head deeply, contained with care and love.

"Oh my stars, I touched it! I could have lost all my character development!" Peridot panicked. She realizes something and looked at Steven who was still had you in his embrace. "Wait, how did you survive being hit by that thing, Steven?"

Steven's eyes went wide when the realization hit him, tightened the grip around you.

"I-I think I didn't. My human half kept me from poofing, but- but my Gem half, it took the hit! She sent me back; it's like I'm a kid again! I can barely control my powers!" Steven shouted, released you away from his embraced and catches your hands. "How do we reverse this?" he asked, hands trembling, looked at your eyes with his terrified one's. "Oh no... Do I need to get the Diamonds?"

Bismuth approached the two of you and handed back the scythe to Steben as he took it and put it once again into his bubblegum pocket.

His head felt dizzy, confusion came into his head and his breath shortened.

"You're the one with healing powers. If anyone can fix this, it's you" Lapis informed.

Steven looked towards the injector, deeply felt sad and mostly guilt towards his friends, if it's wasn't because of him, apparently, nothing will happen to his friends, and you too.

"I can't believe this. For the first time in years, everyone's in danger. Everybody needs me, and I'm useless!" Steven yelled and looked to his friends before once again looked to the injector.

Bismuth and the others just watched him in silence, not knowing what to say, it's true that it was past years they were in peace between the Diamonds and Earth, but now they have a huge problem crashed in, they seemed clueless, as if they had lost their touch to be saving people.

"Bismuth, what do we do?" Steven asked the first-ever Crystal Gem, hoping she would figure out something.

Bismuth looked at Steven sadly.

"I'm sorry, Steven. I don't know" she told.

So, some of you might notice how similar my story to the other author's. I just noticed yesterday tho.

I didn't know there was someone out there actually have written the exact same idea as me, and she already finished the book!

I didn't want any conflict or argument happen between us and am still waiting for their answer.

My Wattpad is being an a-hole, it didn't want me to PM her so I just could comment in one of their books which I'm pretty sure they won't be reading comments not reply to it.

So now, I'm just going to wait for the answer and look if I have to take the movie chapters down due to copyright or something. And thank you to whoever reported it to me, I really appreciate it.

And once again, I never knew there was some make the same idea as me. I assume I was the only one who did it since I have this idea in my mind for a while now.
